Just revealed in the Blizzcon 2019 Opening Ceremony, the final Hearthstone expansion in the Year of the Dragon is Descent of Dragons!
- New Hero Cards: Galakrond! He upgrades using our brand new keyword...
- Invoke! Invoking upgrades Galakrond to stronger forms. Casting an Invoke card also grants an activation of Galakrond's Hero Power.
- All five EVIL classes will have their own versions of Galakrond, which players will receive for free upon logging in within 90 days of the expansion launch.
- After 90 days, you'll be given Galakrond upon obtaining your first Descent of Dragons card pack, similar to C'Thun.
- Galakrond is an extra Legendary for the EVIL classes - they will receive two normal Legendaries as well.
- There is a new mechanic called Sidequests; these work similarly to Quests, but don't start in your opening hand, and due to their lower rarity you can run two if you want!
- Each class will receive a Legendary Dragon, as well as a Dragon's Breath card which has an additional effect when you're holding a Dragon.
- All four Explorer classes will be getting an 'Explorer', all of which Discover a Dragon.
- There are two pre-orders available:
- Standard: 60 packs, new card back and a random golden Legendary; costs $50.
- Mega Bundle: 100 packs, new card back, random golden Legendary and new Deathwing Warrior Hero Skin; costs $80.
- Both pre-orders will also give you early access to Hearthstone Battlegrounds.
- Expansion launches December 10th; there will be a pre-release.
- The new Solo Content will launch in January.
- The next Arena rotation will be: Basic, Classic, Blackrock Mountain, The Grand Tournament, One Night in Karazhan, Knights of the Frozen Throne, Rastakhan's Rumble and Descent of Dragons.

Welp, there goes balancing. I swear when I first seen these cards I thought they were Fan made. They just don't feel right.
And I thought they stopped making "Hero cards" because of the power creep on the things. Galakrond is all kinds of lazy as well.
Blizzard designer: "Hey guys! Instead of developing a class identity lets just create a legendary that operates the same across 5 classes so we don't need to think about new ways to play and just be lazy"
Blizzard employee: "Yep, sounds great".
If I wasn't losing faith before, I've certainly lost it now.
Some cool cards already shown - all aboard the HYPE TRAIN!
I'm kinda surprised Hunter is receiving poisonous dragons, but Brann is shown riding a red dragon in the trailer.
The Hunter legendary is yet to be revealed, but it would be weird if it was Alex, given the other Hunter cards revealed so far.
It's a shame, since giving the Explorer classes all four good Aspects would've been quite neat.
They've given deathwing to warrior so alex is the only aspect left, wonder how they'll make her fit to the class
She is lifegiver, you can play stuff to fit it well. Lifegiving to the nature aswell for example, beasts etc.
Lets hope Galakrond for priest dont have resurrect hero power :D
Add random priest minion to your hand is the hero power
Hero Power Hunter.. interesting
I'd like to know where all the "In the Year of the Raven we got so many ravens" people are now
I had almost forgotten it was Year of the Dragon, this 3rd and last expansion of the year is a strong reminder
With cards like Springpaw, Masked Contender and Subject 9 rotating out in a few months, Hunter got some cards that compliment Highlander decks nicely. Kind of disappointed by the new Ysera, but randomly summoning dragons could be fairly strong if the dragon pool gets better with this expansion. Breath of Dreams is kind of a nutty card for Dragon Druid, so I'm hoping that archetype actually becomes a thing.
they rotate in 5 months. i wouldnt say a few but i agree that yeah they are replacing those cards little by little until april
So, can anybody explain me what is this "Hearthstone Battlegrounds" included in the bundle pre-order?

See for yourself. Seems kinda interesting.
It's like Teamfight Tactics from LoL, only... On cards in Hearthstone? It's strange, I want to try it out.
Thanks!!
Found that to be interesting too!
In case no one noticed that yet:
They updated the Blizzcon Virtual Ticket ad and now it shows the free golden legendary we're getting:
Sathrovarr 9-mana 5/5 demon
Battlecry: Choose a friendly minion. Add a copy of it to your hand, deck, and battlefield
It’s true and sidequest as a “new” mechanic
hm...sounds like a gimmick. 9-mana isn't really something you can spend for a conditional value generator
So we get all 5 Galakronds for free? Right?
Yes, if you login during the first week or two of the newest expansion.
