Sweet merciful jesus. Prince Keleseth on crack. And you can put two of these in your deck?
1 mana for +2/+2? I will take it!
What's the most powerful card in Hearthstone?
A credit card.
This is gonna spawn a whole new kind of Token Druid. Insane card!
Surrender to Madness looks like an even bigger joke now.
This could definitely see play for its effect alone, but it will also be used simply for cycle alongside Gadgetzan Auctioneer. Seems like a pretty powerful card at 0 mana, and in a class with ramp to negate the mana cost increase.
Cost 1 mana permanently.
Still good card though.
better times to token druid are coming
Very strong card - Big Druid coming back! Also love the name; slipping in those Simpsons references not only in the flavor text anymore!
Embiggen seems super powerful. Prince Keleseth was massively OP, and additional price of 1 extra mana on all of your minions is easy enough to mitigate in Druid thanks to numerous ramp cards (like the new Breath of Dreams). This could easily mean there's an Aggro Druid resurgence coming.
This is extremely difficult to evaluate.
On one hand, the fact that this is a 0-mana spell is already huge, because it means there is no tempo loss the turn you play it.
obviously a double Keleseth is pretty crazy as well (or quadruple if you wanna go full nuts), but the cost increase is....heavy
I wonder if you could run this in a dragon deck with Breath of Dreams to offset the cost increase (and then maybe play Frizz laater on the reduce the cost back to normal?)
The effect is strong, but the downside might not be worth it if you have to play off curve for the rest of the game.
Also, you can now play Oasis Surger without Quest, yay
I tried having fun once.
It was awful.
This will get nerfed before the end of the year, mark my words.
A puzzle box? What does it say? ... Yogi-Saffron something... sure, let's open it, what is the worst that could happen?
I thought they were avoiding printing anymore 0 mana spells .. oh well
Struggle with Heroic Galakrond's Awakening? I got your back :
broken
nerf is coming
OP,
the 1 cost extra to every minion is a very little price to pay compared to the 2+2 you get on every minion being able to buff snowballing minions or having originally 1-1s which are now 3-3s trading with 2 or 3 drops is really strong.
There's now a whole lot of cards to tutor with Juicy Psychmelon
I think people are missing how impactful increasing the cost of every minion in your deck by 1, let alone 2 is. On top of that, building your deck solely around this card, and then not drawing it also seems like a nightmare. People keep talking about Token Druid, like they don't know how that deck works. This card is awful in token druid, it only buffs one part of a minion that generates tokens, so its not like it gives you tons of extra stats, it gives you a little bit, also it only buffs minions, and many of the best Token cards in druid aren't minions, meaning this has no effect. If you switch to some form of druid that is just trying to slam cheap minions that is fine, but its not got the same pressure potential that Token Druid along side Savage Roar puts up. This cards effect is certainly powerful, but its impact isn't immediate at all, and it does have a real draw back. Prince Keleseth was an actual body that then also generated raw tempo, this does give you more value per minion but it does affect the tempo and has no direct impact, so even if its free, its still got no impact the turn its played most of the time. The fact this can only make minions cost 10 maximum is nice at least so it doesn't ever make something unplayable.
To crush your enemies, to see them driven before you, and to hear the lamentations of the women.
This is an interesting build around card, it will be interesting seeing what minions become better or worse with the +2/+2 and extra cost. Tokens don't work because they aren't in your deck. To get the most value out of this card you will want to have a lot of minions that have abilities that care about their stats, some minions from means streets might be worth considering.
I am very excited to see what kinds of decks sprout from this card.
Carrion, my wayward grub.
Neat outcome: +2/+2 - (1) = Prince Keleseth.
PS: however, the curve increase is a considerable problem.
This means that this card can only effectively work in an extreme Aggro deck that only aims at raw stats deployed as fast as possible.
I wonder what Decks will run this.
You'll probably need to play ramp alongside this and I don't know if Token can afford doing that. On the other though it's a HUGE Buff, so might be worth it? Big Druid will definitely play this.

prince at the cost of +1 cost..pretty good for big druid or recruit type summons..
Useful in Token druid, but otherwise complicated.
Looks powerful, maybe token druid will be back.
TRUTH IS FOUND IN DEATH!
This card is INSANE. Prince Keleseth BUT BETTER, this time no restriction. Okay cards cost 1 More, and it maxes at 10 mana. This "Downside" isn't that bad. AND IT'S 0 MANA. 0 Mana cards are ALWAYS good, mainly with Gadgetzan Auctioneer. This card fits in nearly all druid archetypes. It's just that good.
RNG is only fun as long as there is a 50/50 chance of getting something really good or trash level of bad. If RNG always results in something good, then it's not fun.
Token druid won't play this: he has plenty of spells and battlecry minions to summon tokens, so there is no benefit in playing this card in that type of deck.
Maybe in aggro druid, which doesn't exist, but who knows
Interesting tool for a token deck to switch from aggro to a tempoish gameplay. Not an early game play but decent i guess for strategy changing.
Never netdeck, craft Whizbang instead!
or you could just keep your curve low.
I don't think this actually works in a token deck, because the "tokens" are generated, not already in the deck. You would need an Oasis Surger "summon a copy of this minion" effect to take full advantage of the +2/+2, and there are only so many of those.
However, the +1 Cost penalty could be counteracted by using Breath of Dreams and/or Frizz Kindleroost in a Dragon deck, for even beefier Dragons. Someone will experiment with it, I'm sure.
Bigger Minions → need more Mana → Ramp like Innervate or Wild Growth.
I mean you could play it without ramp, but that means you'll be behind cause your Minions can't be played on curve.

I like this one. Not an auto win like the Prince, but a huge boost with a downside. Meta will be controlly and the question is if you can outvalue your opponent. I like the idea.

Feels like a good card, but the fact it doesn't effect creatures that are created by other cards, I think might be the thing that keeps it down.
Idk, 1 cost up for all your minions is kinda huge without any cost reduction, even if you ramp up very early. I see the potential in this card but it looks very hard to make a deck with this work.
Oh crap. What a strong and broken card.... :/
very cromulent card for druid
The fact that you are more likely to mulligan this on turn one than Prince Keleseth is insane. (Because you can run 2 of them)
Part of me is drooling, imagining this as a Rogue card. But the sane part of me is curious whether it will be played in Druid. I think we'll certainly see a lot of experimentation - it IS strong. Question is, is there a deck that can be built around it? Not current token. Maybe a new token, dragons, taunts (stats on taunts is good!)... We'll see!
Better call Thrall!
1 mana for +2/+2 more than a fair trade, almost... Broken.
THANK YOU!!! Why does it seem like so few people get this reference?
"Be excellent to each other." -Bill and Ted
As others pointed out, this won't work out in token that we know, where it would have the most significant impact. Also, extra stats are surely worth extra 1 mana, but the effect is not immediate.
General problem with this card is that you have to put a lot of minions in deck, and Druid strenght lies mostly in its spells.
It will be interesting to see how good it will be in Arena, I guess it should be a strong early play. Mana cost can screw your curve, but you can build hard aggro if you get it early in draft.
You wouldn't want to play Auctioneer with this, he demands a lot of cheap spell fuel and this card demands a lot of minions to be worth it.
It needs to be put into dedicated deck, it's not that versatile imo. Not saying that it doesn't have potential, it's a strong effect.
Maybe not Token in the old sense, but smaller minions that have good synergy together will be amazing when buffed. Looking forward to it =D
I doubt it would work in a conventional deck, but in wild, an egg druid could make use of this. Every egg becomes that much better with this card. Even Runic Egg becomes a better Loot Hoarder. Couple that with the buffs that egg druid ran in the first place, I think this could work.
While the effect looks rather powerful, I don't think it's as strong as it seems. Messing up your curve doesn't feel like the best thing to do.
So what deck would want this? The first thought that comes to mind would be in a token deck, but you are normally summoning tokens from spells or deathreattles and those tokens won't benefit from your buff.
An aggro druid deck maybe? Well you want to be aggressive so you'll be relying on you oppoening hand and having this will make your early game weaker. Also aggro decks quickly end up running out of cards so that they can get that ealry game pressure and this card would be an awful top deck that might ruin your momentum.
Control, quest or combo druids don't really need this type of buff.
All that is left would be a midrange druid deck. This could work but you might end up ruining your curve which is not what tempo decks want.
The card just seems quite hard to include in a deck. You can try to build a deck around this card, but then if you don't draw it...
Prince Keleseth didn't ruin your curve, gave you tempo and the restriction wasn't all that bad.
More dragons? Yes please!
Difficult to evaluate but really interesting. +2/+2 is huge and "only" 1 mana. Sure, you need to draw this card...but i'm asking myself if token druid it's the right deck for this spell. This is a value play for a tempo loss, so you want to put this card in a value deck. I think we must teorycraft a Quest Druid with Embiggen and see if it can work
It seems pretty good, but I don't really know in which decks it would fit.
If you are able to use it in combination with some ramp cards it could become pretty scary, but for now I don't really know if it will really make an impact in the new meta.
Why imagine it being a rogue card when you can just play burgle rogue and (very occasionally) make it a rogue card!
---------------------------------------------------------------------
Druid has more card draw options than most classes so it can easily offset the initial card loss (which is not insignificant although few people have mentioned it), but how easy it is to balance minions, removal and draw in an effective deck remains unclear.
It might well be great, but equally I wouldn't be too surprised if it joins the huge pile of potentially bonkers cards that never gets past the experimentation phase.
the 1 more mana per minions is quite a steep price..
also you pay the price of a card in your hand doing nothing immediately..
The card has anti-synergy with itself: you are playing one card which has no board impact AT ALL (Prince Keleseth is a 2/2)-> for it to have impact you need card draw-> card draw costs mana-> the cards you draw with it cost MORE mana than they would otherwise, which means you can play less of them.
It's hard to say how good/bad this card will be, but I think this is no Prince Keleseth mostly cause of the card cost with not board impact.
This will not work for token decks, tokens will not get a bonus, only real minions from cards.
-=alfi=-
Oh yes, gimme those reasons to play Wild Growth still!
I wonder how this interacts with Magic Carpet and the like. I assume the carpet doesn't work if a 1-cost gets bumped up to two mana, which is a shame, as that would've been a neat way to abuse this card.
this looks really strong, and at worst it's auctioneer fodder. i could see this being played in quest druid, probably token druid as well, although it does slow your curve down
Dead card in the late game, but for a Druid deck that runs low cost minions, this could be really good
Well it's over
I hope you run out of cards when you play this, otherwise the next meta is not gonna be fun
I dont think quest druid has space for this card but its definitely playable.
Oasis Surger you will be happy with double 7/7 for 6 mana
Anubisath Defender free buff amazing
Flobbidinous Floop not affected at all
Cenarius , Crystal Merchant, Wardruid Loti small inconvenience
Elise the Enlightened and Zephrys the Great are the only effected cards but there are versions that dont run them
The cost increase definitely hurts, since it’ll make it harder to play multiple things a turn. Not much point in making your minions better if you can’t play any more than 1 thing every turn
Who needs consistency when you could have fun?
I don't see this in a token druid deck. The token summoner and generator cards won't benefit from this buff. I see it being used in some kind of big druid deck. If you are already running big cards adding one more mana for +2/+2 isn't too much of a drawback. Early ramp and spells to get to your big minions is the way to go with this deck style.
Unfortunately, common sense isn't as common as it should be.
Haha just don't add 10 mana minions and you'll be fine.
But seriously, they need to change Surrender to Madness like they did with a few cards in boomsday since now it can now be compared to a playable card.
Jebediah Springfield the Meta breaker.
Quest Druid slots this in with no problem.
A very strong card potentially! We need to think out the way to use it but it's an interesting option. Not sure if some token druids will exist in a new meta because quest druid might be just stronger. But i'm sure we'll see this card on ladder sooner or later.
This is broken or garbage .. I really don't know which one lol
I'm sorry for my bad english :)
this look quite good, don't know how the extra cost affects an aggro/tempo gameplan but +2/+2 seems really strong. you don't have to play it right away either so you just let it rip when you have enough mana anyways. good card
Very good card. IT makes Surrender to Madness look even worse. I wonder if this card will be nerfed eventually, we will have to wait for the meta to settle I guess.
I really don't know how this card could be OP, in the 1st place token based archetypes relies on summoning Battlecries and summoning spells in which case these dosn't affect, alas, the +1 mana cost makes it even slower for an aggresive deck, really scheptikal about this one
Sooo good. This has potential to break the game in many aspects. 5 stars and potential nerf incoming. I guess they didn't want to repeat the mistake of Surrender to Madness and made this one much stronger
Zoodruid, Which is already good in wild in my opinion will be good in standard too.
just set your mana curve around this card and you will hyper aggro your opponent.
Unpopular Opinion Incarnate
Ramp done differently, nice card.
I can't actually see a druid archetype wich would benefit from this card. On it's own, it's good. Too good. But in which deck? Token druid is usually pretty tight with all the board buffs it needs to run and also how to repopulate the board after a wipe when everything cost one more. In some kind of ramp/big druid? But then what's the point? Your minions are big already... I'm scratching my head on this one...
Elders Scrolls : Legends / Runeterra
i don't like this card at all, because generally i dislike making my own deck worse. It even takes a space in your hand without doing anything, basically if you draw it is like you have one less card in your hand.
Looks like fun! Could be amazing in the right deck, if you draw it early.
This expansion is called Descent of the Broken Cards. Who thought this is healthy card was wrong..brokennnn
This is interesting. Might this create a ramp/swarm hybrid are he type, or will it just be too clunky?
Druid has always had ramp cards so this really just depends on when you draw it stat boost is great and fits in big druid where lots of minions will already be high.
Self proclaimed good at battlegrounds
I think that cost increase is a real downside. But i have to say its in the wost class for deck buffs since druid like their spells
Very strong card, it's very similar with Prince Keleseth which broke the game once upon the time.
Really good card, but i dont know if there will be an arquetype for this one.
The effect is similar to the battlecry of Prince Keleseth, which was close to broken back in the days.
This card might fit into aggressive decks like Token Druid, however, the increased mana costs might be too much of a drawback for an aggro deck.
I'm always wary of 0 cost cards vis-a-vis Auctioneer, but the increase in mana cost looks a bit more balanced and skew to the usual cheap token + buff approach. Worth experimenting with to be sure though.
keleseth on steroids
0 cost cards are always hard to evaluate as pointed out by many players. Unique effect, but I don't see it being close to Prince 2. Prince 2 was powerful when it was played early and gave you the highest boost in win rate than any other cards when in your opening hand. However, when Prince 2 was played late in the game, the boost was significantly reduced. This is not surprising at all, as Prince 2's effect can be seen as "cost reduction", such as allowing you to play a 4/3 minion with only 2 mana. However, then the cost of cards are increased, the status gain cancels out the boost effect. So overall, the benefit you gain is very minor with this new card.
By the way, the +1/+1 effect does not apply to tokens as many people have pointed out!
You know, the +2/+2 in stats is basically 2 mana in cost, so increasing the cost by 1 mana is exactly the Keleseth Effect. While keleseth made you 2 mana 3/2 into 2 mana 4/3, this will make it into 3 mana 5/4 which is great value
-=alfi=-
I don´t think it will play as kaleseth, due to mana increase. But its a high varience card, depending if it is on your oppening hand.
Very spooky, but hopefully having to spend a card on this and the increased costs will be enough to stop it from getting out of hand
best card in the expansion, first out for nerf
I think the card is strong too, but Im not too sure it would really work in a full aggro deck. 1mana on EVERY card after this is pretty high price, and losing a card in hand hurts a lot too for aggro.
People are saying this card is good for an aggro/token style Druid deck but I’m on the fence about it. You want to play this earlier so that it hits a lot of minions but this card taking up space in your opening hand means one less minion or one less spell to buff the minions you have on board right now. And the fact that it raises the cost of your small swarmy minions limits your ability to flood the board efficiently. Worth keeping an eye on though just for the huge stat boost.
Jaina is best waifu. Always.
In one hand, Prince Keleseth imidiatly comes to mind, and it's power level.
On the other hand, Surrender to Madness never really worked.
This does cost 0 mana, so maybe that's what separates it from Surrender to Madness.
If you can make your deck good enought to curve out 1 mana later, than this can be meta defining
Dragon Deck...
Breath of Dreams + Embiggen + Frizz Kindleroost...
SSD incoming (Stupidly Strong Druid)
Papa Nurgle wants to share his gifts.
Very OP, especially if in the opening hand. The plus stats are worth far more than the increased cost. A Tempo Druid? With Oasis Surger? Maybe even Desert Hare or Underbelly Ooze?
Put your faith in the Light!
If you find a aggro Druid deck that doesn't need tokens and gets enough resources generated by loads of draw, this card is bonkers. So, this is a "take an aggro deck and turn it into a midrange deck" card, making it more of a card to play against slower match-ups. In aggro vs aggro, you want the tempo rather than the stat.
Rating cards on coolness factor rather than predicting power because I like screwing up rating averages (and because I suck at predicting real power levels, but we'll ignore that LUL)
Wins per class (2/6/22): DH-197; Druid-996; Hunter-91«60; Mage-1056; Paladin-1126; Priest-746; Rogue-961; Shaman-1095; Warlock-871; Warrior-906
Looks so fun to play! Not sure how much of a punish the +1 mana. Doesnt feel like much actually, might be very OP
This though is the buff treants deserve. Not that 7 mana snooze
WT* ! Broken Card. Broken Expansion. Madness! Madness! Token Druid says hello.
Nerf incoming! Really shows you how weak Surrender to Madness was when they gave it to a token class for 3 less Mana and a smaller drawback.
The effect is huge and ridiculous; has the potential to be meta-defining if Druid in general is good enough. The new Keleseth?
Token decks don't benefit from this as much as it seems at first glance, so I'm not confident that this card find its place in meta, but we will see. Effect looks strong and we all remember scourge of Prince Keleseth.
Fun and interactive game.
1 mana more? so u will have to ramp, probably with help of dragons (maybe some small, elusive ones?) just to keep up with the tempo?
