This seems too slow for Overload Shaman, in Standard or Wild. How much do you really even see Rain of Toads at 4 less mana?
First impression: "meh....overstated"
Second thought: "holy guacamoly!" the synergy in a midrange overload deck combined with quest+cumulo maximus
"Eye of the..."
*Eye of the Tiger riff plays in my head.*
Unsure how good it is, but it's damn cool. A Common 10-Cost card that's actually interesting is not something you see every day. That's a pretty huge wall too.
Excuse me while I rock out.
Well, that one's not gonna see play.
Remind when Shaman could wait for turn 10 to actually do stuff.
Just goes to show how utterly broken Dragon's Pack was
I tried having fun once.
It was awful.
I guess shaman didn't have to wait long to go back to hiding behind 5/6 taunty puppers. The card seems fine considering the cost, but still odd timing for T5 to start poking this particular bear again.
But it's not really a bear when the mana cost is commensurate with the stats.
Even if this becomes popular, it's hard to imagine people getting mad about it --- UNLESS Shaman gets a way to play it for a lot less mana.
Nice buff to Puzzle Box, though.
I remember when you could summon 4 5/6 with taunt for only 8 mana and no overload :(
Let's compare it to Tomb Warden.
That card is 8 mana for 2x 3/6 minions, so 4 for each. This has +2 attack, so let's put it at 5 mana. That's 15 mana, and this is just 10 + 3, you get 15/18 in stats which is better than Deathwing, so it must theoretically be worth it, isn't it?
Absolutely not.
That card was only ever played with handbuffs. 9-10 cost cards in Hearthstone are only played if they're very swingy, like [Hearthstone Card (Dragonqueen Alexstraza) Not Found], Bloodreaver Gul'dan, often filling your board with large minions. This? Just 3 medium-sized bodies, not that hard to remove. This may get you some tempo, but that Overload (3) is going to sting next turn. Often you may get even behind because of that. I mean, one of the bodies may survive, but this only shows how powerful Dragon's Pack is/was, especially on curve. (That's the other thing, aggro can beat you before this can even come down.)
Put your faith in the Light!
Well, considering this comes down t10, it's not that overwhelming. Gets AoE'd too easily. Although... Maybe your Opponents won't have any big Clears left after you played Galakrond, Shudderwock and Electra Stormsurge + Dragon's Pack?
Anyway, really like the Idea of Shaman getting some big Spells for more control-ish Archetypes.

This one should be banned in Arena. But I think it will see play in Ranked as well. Some sort of control shaman.

I dont see this for Shaman right now, but Mage is happy :D

Spiteful Summoner Shaman anyone?
In all seriousness, this is alright. It gives tons of defensiveness, but it's usually dealt with pretty easily after the turn you play - you commit your entire turn to summon some decent minions and pray your opponent doesn't kill them instantly. It's not on levels of N'Zoth or Warlock DK, but for Standard - it may be alright.

Strong but slow.
Fringe-usage and Standard-only.
(Unless some crazy-nuts synergy arises)
I doubt we will see this card being included in decks but sometimes you might pick it of ethreal lackey or get it with hagatha.. it's a great spell to teach the elemental with swampqueen hagatha as well.. so no, 0 inclusion in decks but it's existence will have impact.
Rain of Toads never really felt too bad to use, so this could be decent. The problem though is, is decent good enough? The answer’s probably no sadly
Who needs consistency when you could have fun?
10-cost 15/18 with Taunt. Druid looks on with envy while holding an Ultimate Infestation.
That the card exist is good enough. Reminds me of the argument back when Rain of Toads was introduced, when some pros were saying that the best thing out of a card like that is that it can be discovered or randomly generated.
Will it be in constructed? Probably not. Maybe in control or highlander, but that's about it. Its still a massive flood of stats across three bodies for 10 mana, not easy to remove, if indeed shaman ever gets there that is.
Definitely too expensive. Many really strong overload cards are great because you can play them ahead of curve. This won't come out until turn 10 (unless drawn by Far Sight) and then sets you back on mana for the next turn. Sure, it's a huge pile of stats, but enough to make it worth spending your whole turn? I doubt it.
"Be excellent to each other." -Bill and Ted
I just don't see this getting much play. 10 cost cards need to be able to help you win the game that turn. This just hopefully delays your opponent's actions and sets you behind on mana to win the next turn.
Unfortunately, common sense isn't as common as it should be.
