I doubt this will see play. It doesn't earn you tempo. Secrets are reactive, Rogue is best at doing proactive stuff. So rogue will probably have better tempo oriented decks. Maybe some quest-secret deck can work but it's hard to imagine it will be better than Galakrond decks. New rogue secrets need to be really powerful to make this worth putting in your deck. The art is amazing though.
Love it, first I was like "But how many secrets are in rogue that..." and then I read that it gives secrets from other classes.
Don't know if it will be good or not and even if it is kinda like Whirlkick Master this is still unique in its own way.
Secrets are only 2 mana on average and it's a discover effect so you can lower that average by skipping the 3-mana Mage secrets unless a really good one is offered. That makes it easier to chain this effect than Whirlkick Master's.
Why tho?
A 1/5 isn't easy to remove, so if played on turn 2 it will probably survive and get some crazy value in the following turns.
If dropped later you can chain the secrets in the same turn.
We have to see the rest of the rogue's secrets to fully see how strong this card is, for now it looks a strong and fun card
Secret Rogue is definitely going to be a deck I try on day 1.
This card has an awesome design and flavor. I love how the Rogue burgle theme fits perfectly here with the Discover of the other three classes that had Secrets.
I don't know how strong is gonna be Secret Quest Rogue but seems a deck fun to try at release.
I haven't watched the video, but I scrolled through it and didn't see any gameplay footage. Is the implication here that your choices would be one from each other secret class? If that's the case, it dramatically improves the power level of this card, making this a powerful way to chain tons of spells and combos together starting as early as turn 2 or 3.
Does this mean that Secrets will become a more permanent part of Rogue's arsenal instead of just being a one-trick pony as they were in K&C?
If so, then I'm fine with this. You can potentially chain a lot with this effect.
It means that at least we are going to have 2 years of secrets. Maybe this year we'll have one per expeansion at least (I would love to have this way). Then, imo, when phoenix rotate out we are going to have at least one year secret-less as it happens with year of the dragon but let's see if this "pattern" will continue forever. I'm fine with this too :)
I love new interesting archetypes, and Secret-Tempo Rogue can be something fun :)
1/5 stats mean that there's a chance it can see some play. If it would be 3-mana 1/5, I would say it's crap :P
Great card, secrets will help Burgle Rogue's Defense.
I love how the colour of the jewels represent the Paladin,Hunter and Mage secrets!
The art looks like an Evil Skittles commercial. In a good way, since I like Skittles and I like..... EVIL!
Alright Preparation, time to go back to work!
What Professor Putricide should have been.
Now Rogue will be able to discover 5 Ice Block in a singe turn (would need a help of Preparation for that, but still)
NEAT! 5 health for 2 mana will absolutely see play.
wonder if it'll be nerfed, tho, the EVIL combo minion had the same stat line at 3 mana and he was nerfed for being "too hard to remove"
pretty sure they made it intentionally this time. This is supposed to take a lot to remove since it's a legendary.
The reason Miscreant was nerfed is because it wasn't a continous effect and just gave you overwhelming stats for an already good instant effect.
The only way this would be nerfed is if it literally becomes so hard to deal with that playing it on 2 is basically a free win.
This one is legendary, and its usage is limited by the necessity of Secrets.
Miscreant is more versatile and also creates Lackeys, which are huge Tempo minions, while this guy only generates Value.
It is surely over the charts with stats and effects, but its limited versatility will likely keep it in check.
This sounds like a pretty reliable way to get non-Rogue cards to activate Vendetta and Fence
