This card will be pain in the ass. You will kill it to avoid 7 dmg to thr face, but u will get 7 dmg anyway. Or more thanks to new Stealth synergy. This card could create miracle stealth deck.
What's the most powerful card in Hearthstone?
A credit card.
I wouldn't overhype this honestly.
Sure, it's powerful (and it does make Necrium Apothecary valid again) but Rogue isn't exactly known for being the class to get away with playing big statsticks. It's also pretty easily polymorphed or transformed.
It'S great in Arena, but in Standard it looks to be a complete win-more card.
But hey, now that Leeroy is gone Rogue will have to look for finishers, so why not this?
I tried having fun once.
It was awful.
This is bad, definitely too slow. Sap, polymorph, freeze and you lost 7 Mana in a tempo class.
The shadow might be Ravenholdt Assassin. :P
if he could summon Ravenholdt Assassin, we might see some of him in game but no, New tokens as always...
Unpopular Opinion Incarnate
Unsure about it. Might be good when mana cheated in the late game, other than that i don't have that much hope for the card. I don't think stealth rogue even wants such an expansive card.
RNG is only fun as long as there is a 50/50 chance of getting something really good or trash level of bad. If RNG always results in something good, then it's not fun.
That's a huge value, I can't tell if it's playable or not, but I really love this card as its strength and design. Slow but pretty strong 7-drop so far.
I appreciate its stickiness but that's assuming silence isn't in every deck.
Spellbreaker isn't rotating for no reason
Struggle with Heroic Galakrond's Awakening? I got your back :
A deathrattle card that more or less always give you the initiative to attack. And the base minion's attack is high enough that it cant be ignored. Very strong in any rogue deck that's not going to die turn 7.
Ravenholdt Assassin powercreep. This card has also a nice synnergy with Teron Gorefiend and might bring back Deathrattle Rogue. Also a great arena card.
Can you believe they powercrept Ravenholdt Assassin by basically a full Ravenholdt Assassin?
That being said though, I doubt this card sees play regardless. It's a powerful deathrattle for sure, but it's no Leeroy for Aggro decks. People have mentioned Necrium Apothecary, but a 7/5 with Stealth is probably not that much better than [Hearthstone Card (Anibusath Warbringer) Not Found] or Mechanical Whelp. Granted, this card is better as standalone than either of those options, but Rogue likely never wants to play the card they draw off of Necrium Apothecary anyways.
Does this go in Stealth decks? Honestly maybe not, since it doesn't have strong synergies with the stealth minions, given that all the stealth synergy cards want the stealth to be on the board and the opponent can play around that by not giving you a way to kill off your Cursed Vagrant.
Is there some kind of lategame Rogue that's looking for big threats? Again, probably not, because lategame Rogue has never existed.
Regardless, I think it's a cool card that will see experimentation.
I totally agree that it's probably not as good as it looks, but do remember that if the only 'problem' is that your opponent doesn't give you a way to kill it off, you get to hit his face (or whatever board he's trying to set up) for 7 which is pretty hard to ignore for long. As far as downsides go it's not the worst. Of course, silence and the fact it does nothing when it hits the board a both pretty big downsides by themselves. Transform I don't see as too big of a negative as you still have a 7 drop for them to deal with
Strong card, definitely, but not OP. The Shadow can be used as a finisher in place of Leeroy. And Rogues can try to make some shenanigans with the deathrattle probably, to get more 7/5s with stealth and push for a lot of damage.
The artwork is just AMAZING.

Seems like the best one of the big revenants. With 7 mana, it's just cheap enough to be combined with most cheap rogue control tools.
7 mana, no taunt, no rush, it's sticky but you can't really play this card unless the meta is heavy control.
meh feels like a filler card in stealth meta. a bit slow to have in the deck unless we pop the deathrattle effect multiple times. maybe we can see some combo play for TTK
Hard to evaluated. It's slow, but it's a sticky minion for sure; Rouge can use well deathrattle and now stealth to draw, so he can find some spot in the righ deck
Too slow for rogue probably, but could see play if you don't have Akama and want that stealthy finisher. Btw I really like the golden animation of the shadow! :)
I'm not sure whether rogue wants a 7-cost minion that doesn't do something when played at all, but if they do a 14/10 with one half having stealth is in front of the queue to enter the decklist.
Honestly probably too slow. If someone finds a way to abuse this though.....
Maybe too slow for aggro stealth rogue, but value rogue wouldnt want to play this either, sorry big guy.
Sorry Cairne Bloodhoof, you've been power-crept by a Rogue minion of all things.
This card's going to be a champ in the arena.
good stats for cost that just makes good stats for cost with stealth
Jumbo Cairne is still about as strong as cairne. No rogue decks really want big piles of stats at these high mana costs. Stealth on the token makes this a little trickier but is probably not going to come up too often.
This post is discussing the wild format.
This could be great in any Rogue deck, stealth synergy or no. But did you guys check out the token? It looks like Ancient Shade. Weird.

I don't know, it just seems too slow to be worth playing. 7 mana for 7 damage next turn just isn't good enough. At this point in the game you don't want to be playing "good stats" you want to end the game. It just isn't worth it to spend your whole turn playing a single minion when it doesn't have any proactive keywords like battlecry or rush.
Carrion, my wayward grub.
agree, but is really slow .you basically loose a turn.
maybe discounted with galakrond will have a better chance
Annoying, but also really slow. Not expecting to see this card played too much.
Who needs consistency when you could have fun?
Two Ravenholdt Assassins rolled into one!
It's brutal value but so slow, especially on Rogue. Amazing in arena, so it has that going for it, I guess, but what is a "arena".
Rating cards on coolness factor rather than predicting power because I like screwing up rating averages (and because I suck at predicting real power levels, but we'll ignore that LUL)
Wins per class (2/6/22): DH-197; Druid-996; Hunter-91«60; Mage-1056; Paladin-1126; Priest-746; Rogue-961; Shaman-1095; Warlock-871; Warrior-906
This is too slow for anything, but arena. I can’t wait to see this.
