So, it's easy to finish the quest, but the reward is a bit lacking... true you keep a board replenish, some damage and a weapon always equipped, but by that time, a Pirate Warrior deck should have already an advantage over the opponent (I'm a wild player, so dunno about in standard).
Maybe in a Pirate Control archetype, but it's not very convincing.
Not an amazing card, but it can net you some "tutoring" for something you want that you don't need to run in your deck... Still, almost every class has access to other Discover mechanics (even with neutrals), that are better.
Why does a card like this exists? Even if Recruit was the best keyword out there... It's too costly, it has bad stat distribution, and doesn't even have Taunt...
Tradeable cards need to be situational. If the right situation might be coming up, you keep the card. Otherwise you trade it. Hero Immunity is something Demon Hunter can profit from in many situations (the first card didn't have a lot of value to trade), so I understand as to why a change was necessary.
The issue I see with the new version is the exact opposite: it doesn't have any value to play. Who would want a 5-cost 4/4 if you can get a different card AND Attack/Immunity for the turn for only 1 Mana instead?
I hope this explanation helps you with your final design. I think you're on to something!
New Hunter Minion - Stormwind Piper
If this had rush, it'd be 5/5. Without it, 2/5, nobody is going to ignore this when it comes into play.
New Warlock Minion - Entitled Customer
Even, Control, Reno, Handlock... every Warlock deck could use this, so I guess it could become staple in the class?
New Warrior Minion - Remote-Controlled Golem
Either Wild or arena/duels card.
The Dr. can always make use of cheap board clears and control tools.
New Warrior Spell - Raid the Docks

New Hunter Spell - Devouring Swarm
Potential to be very dangerous, especially in Boar and Rat King decks.
New Neutral Minion - Nobleman
Empty your hand and copy a specific card... but is that worth it?
New Neutral Minion - Northshire Farmer
I guess you can have some 3/3 boars for the Sword of Thousand Truths "quest". Still... dunno, not convinced by it.
New Neutral Minion - Pandaren Importer
Not an amazing card, but it can net you some "tutoring" for something you want that you don't need to run in your deck... Still, almost every class has access to other Discover mechanics (even with neutrals), that are better.
New Warrior Minion - Cowardly Grunt

I guess they needed a filler card.
New Neutral Minion - Royal Librarian
Spellbreaker is crying in a corner now.
New Neutral Minion - Deeprun Engineer
Meh card. Not worth a place in any deck ATM.
New Warrior Minion - Cargo Guard
They might as well add Taunt to this card. No way this card does not get removed asap.
New Shaman Minion - Canal Slogger
Amazing elemental to add in a control shaman archetype.
New Neutral Minion - Lion's Guard
A nice control tool, amazing arena card, but if you need to play it in arena it means you're behind 50% of the time.
It's Hurt Warlock support.
New Shaman Minion - Granite Forgeborn
Absurdly powerful card in a cool archetype.
New Priest Minion - Voidtouched Attendant
Could be decent in Standard. It's got 3 health for 1 mana, and it works with more than just the Shadow stuff.
Wild: Razakus Priest will have a Field Day with this.
New Neutral Minion - Royal Librarian
Run in Zoolock, but you're probably too focused on your own strategy to remember to include this in your deck. Still a good card tho.
New Neutral Minion - Nobleman
If he targeted a specific type of card, I could see running him. As is, he's too random in value, so he is just gold-plated trash.
New Priest Minion - Darkbishop Benedictus
YES. 100% Yes. I don't give a shit whether this is Top-Tier, or some Meme trash, Shadow Priest looks fun. Day 1 craft!
New Warrior Minion - Cargo Guard
They're clearly intending Questline Warrior to be a much slower deck than Pirate Warriors of the past. Also good overall for Control Warrior.
Questing in Stormwind - Better Understanding Druid's Lost in the Park Legendary Questline
Loving your articles, Echo! Great food for thought, indeed. Looking forward to reading all the Quest lines.
New Warrior Spell - Raid the Docks
Easy conditions and an insane payoff. That's just too good...
... there's got to be a Hook to this.

New Warrior Spell - Raid the Docks
Perfect addition to Pirate warrior in Standard. In Wild it is too slow and does not add more value to the perfect builds out there.
New Warrior Minion - Cargo Guard
Defensive Pirates? First we had Sword Eater, now this! Maybe there's gonna be some control-ish Pirate Warrior with these cards and Raid the Docks?
