That is likely, but I wonder if they will revise the price or how they offer it. I don't think the Jaina bundle was that successful and I don't see most players being able to justify $10 per hero for alternative art with nothing else new (by the end of the book of heroes spend over $100 for cosmetics?).
This could have been avoided...if they stopped printing blatantly broken shit. I mean Christ this thing was Growth Spiral with lifegain on the front end and a 4 mana 6/6 (the actual fuck) with a free Growth Spiral with lifegain on it on ETB and on attack on the back end. Did I mention it was unkillable? I think I didn't, sorry my bad. So here goes: it was unkillable. Exile it or steal it, otherwise it keeps coming back. With a Growth Spiral on play every time. And lifegain. Who could have seen that coming?
Hearthstone has definitely had a power creep problem as of late (in multiple game modes, in fact), but with the way MtG has been going recently, it seems Hearthstone still has a lot to learn from it about just how much power creep you can fit into a set.
And let's not forget, the majority of the blatantly overpowered, oft banned cards have been Mythic. The rarity that, in its original design, was not intended to just consist of absolute bombs that you'd want 4 of in every deck. But when they can get all that money, why wouldn't they.
Yeah I know, the Balance Team almost never completely reworks a card so I think that they will try to just do stat changes whenever possible. However, I think that it’s possible that they might nerf the 1-cost option by making it create the 1 cost in hand instead, because Petty Officer is only good in all decks because of that option.
Saw this coming, made sure my crafting since Zendikar came out didn't rely on Uro because of it. I'll miss the animation, I liked that giant creeper face. I'll also be sad because my Rogue deck loved to snatch him with Zareth San. That was normally an auto-concede.
If I recall correctly, Street Magician was a Rogue+Warlock card rather than just a Warlock card. I think people may have been turned off by Rogue's ability to abuse battlecry triggers while simultaneously bypassing the deathrattle via cards like Shadowstep. Warlock by itself has no way to bounce cards, reducing abuse cases by a great degree. This might not be the full reason, but it may explain a bit of it.
Great combo deck. I love this deck and the variants I've played for the past year or so. The only short comings of the deck have been stated, but with good draws and especially with Sphere of Sapience and Lorekeeper Polkelt a lot of the RNG can be mitigated which makes this easier to pull off rather than the older versions where we relied on Plot Twist to put the dino in our hands.
Oh my bad then xD. I just thought about bringing it up since it got into the finals and it would suck if someone stole the entire card idea and won. I really liked the card when I first saw it in his video btw. Good job.
The one thing I am curious about is that Hunger Mad Virmen made it to the finalists, whereas my Street Magician card that had the exact same effect got a pretty low rating a few weeks ago. I am not upset about it, I just find it interesting how the same effect can do a lot better or worse with a simple change of art and setting.

Nice nerfs, the tortolan one is what most people suggested and does not destroy the card, just makes it more fair.
Guardian animals the same, it comes a turn later giving the opponent more time to develop and answer it.
Im ok with this nerfs.

Speculations - How will Petty Officer get nerfed?

I do actually think that KANSAS is right and art carries you farther than it could be expected.

There are a few decks that make me rage quit when I see the combo start to fire off... this is getting close to the top of the list.

I've seen a lot of this type of swarm deck being played... I even play a variant of it. Nice work.

Turtle Polka Mage
Incanter's Flow is too low impact in this deck imo. I haven't tried this deck out yet, but consider replacing it with one of Shatter (to quickly kill a minion of the opponent's with tortolan), Primordial Glyph (for value), Puzzle Box of Yogg-Saron (Oh fuck kill everything), Book of Specters (card draw), or Cone of Cold (kill your own Tortollans).
