Nice innovation just using Nine Lives with zixor as a win condition. But the more I look at it the more Im convinced that the quest is expendable. Just doesn't seem like your deck is using the quest to do anything other than cheese a win with Unleash the Hounds.
I tried a combo variant to abuse zixor along with a dragon shell but wasn't too successful with it. Maybe I can try your idea of abusing Nine Lives and go with it again.
Consider adding Pressure Plate in your deck. Its just nuts in this meta.
Oh, you can be sure I'm going to try and make a Nautilus deck with this fella!
Can I ask why? I don't see any inherent synergies. This guy doesn't help dig through the deck and the only Sea Monster that is 8+ mana is in Shadow Isles. Not saying you're wrong but curious what the plan is here
They really need to stop over valuing healing. Healing it twice as important in this game than almost any other with it having such a small health pool, and the inability to heal over the cap. The cards they have for it never feel good to put into a deck.
This seems way worse than a Kindly Tavernkeeper, which leads me to believe that they'll release a champion that synergizes with healing (likely Soraka) to justify this card existing.
This seems pretty great, no card has ever granted Overwhelm or Regeneration permanently before, so I'm excited to see how powerful it is. The most obvious use I can see for this is to use it on Scarthane Steffen, so that his high attack stat can actually translate to Nexus damage, and so that he remains at high health despite self-damage cards.
Am I missing something or does Icequake seem like a really awkward spell to play? I mean often the 9 mana aoe for Shadow Isles feels too slow to get into a turn, and this is only 1 mana less and does so much less. I don't really think Icequake will see a lot of use outside of being attached to Trundle through being his Champion spell. Boards have gotten too big and to be honest so long as Deep decks are at the top end of the meta I have trouble seeing Trundle as a likely option either since playing him and his pillar are really slow.
2/7 is an interesting statline that we haven't yet seen, so I'm excited to see how powerful it is. Also, the way its worded implies that if you're at full health it doesn't take any damage, which ensures that you always get the full heal out of it. It also works well with Vlad and could be part of a Gem Vlad deck. I think Soraka will probably synergize with Healing too, so maybe this will be a part of that archetype too. Honestly a self-damage plus healing Targon/Noxus deck would be really cool.
Since Ice Pillar refunds its mana cost, it's basically like Enlightened but for 8 Mana. Trundle also provides a very good body that can take down a lot of units and survive, so even if the game ends before turn 8 he's still good.
I really like this card because it’s good against Aggro before Enlightenment for a big, game-winning heal, and against control you can wait until turn ten to use it as a mana-discounting spell (it also helps convert your Spell Mana into normal mana).
I can't imagine any world in which this card doesn't see its way into at least 1 competitive deck.
The obvious combo is Tryndamere: ramp your early game until you're enlightened, then heal your nexus for 8 and play a free Tyrn all for 7 mana. She Who Wanders would be another hot target. Heck, I could even see SI/Frej Endure decks using this trick: target a super-jacked They Who Endure to heal your nexus to full, and you still have the option to hold the free TWE and threaten an Atrocity lethal at any time for just 6 mana.
Honestly, this card looks fairly meh. I predict it will get some play, but not in any of the "top tier" meta decks. It does have some potential to stall out aggressive decks, especially when combo'ed with Gems, Resplendent Stellacorn, and all these new support buffs, but nexus health is a resource and for the most part you'd rather sacrifice 3 nexus damage to preserve 3 HP on a unit rather than the other way around.
Trundle is interesting, and not at all what I was expecting. In many ways, his L2 + Ice Pillar resembles L1 Sejuani: 6+/7 with overwhelm and regeneration, and your opponent's strongest unit is vulnerable. Obviously there is much more setup involved to get a L2 Trundle + Ice Pillar than L1 Sejuani, but at the same time the latter is usually just a single-turn tempo play whereas the former provides pressure every attack.
This card just seems SUPER weak. It's basically Avalanche + 1 damage for double the mana cost--and Avalanche is already one of the top 5 worst spells from the base set. I suppose the intended usage is a regen (troll) heavy deck: all your units will recover the 3 damage, and if any opposing units survive they have -3 attack so they deal minimal damage. At 8(?!) mana and slow speed though, you'll never actually have an opportunity to play this.
This card seems so good! You heal 3*3=9 Nexus health which means 45% of your total AT WORST. Since you can heal it back, it can goes on for a long time, healing crazy amount of health.
Also, the way it's worded makes me think that they might introduce a "healing boost" mechanic.
Overall it's a good card that I'd definitely like to include in a control deck.
I guess the primary 8+ cost card we will be 'beholding' is ice pillar. Strategy around the ice pillar seems interesting, idk if its best for the opponent to remove it immediately or not, since Trundle only generate it when summoned. If so then you need to put another 8+ cost card for more behold consistency. Then all the big trolls would go into the deck.. does this deck play like the sea monster deck? Maybe slightly different.
The meta is so fast these days that you don't want to get too greedy with value. Against Priest, no matter how much value you have in the deck you'll never outvalue them and against any other deck you won't live long enough to see the value. Kanrethad Prime and Archwitch Willow are more so late game win conditions and you shouldn't need more than 1 or 2 of them to win. Also, if you happen to get Kanrethad Prime from Archwitch Willow it's still a free 7/6 and you'll get another taunt demon along side them so you're still getting a boat load of stats
New Targon Card - Startled Stomper
Solid card, I'm giving it 4 stars. We have a good support target for early game here.
New Ionia Card - Pix!
Exactly, and that makes these cards arguably better - there are so many targets to ping that loosing one won't make a difference.
New Ionia Champion - Lulu
Good card. VERY easy to lvl up.
Playable for sure, but we don't have that kind of Ionia deck yet, so it will be a brand new deck style.
I think I fixed Quest Hunter

A Wild Hearthstone Weekend Featuring Big Warrior, Mecha'thun Rogue, Combo Warlock, and More!
To be fair, you just have to see it in action once to never be mistaken again on the potency of Secret Passage ; just F'in great!
Aggro Enrage Warrior!
Geez, FunkiMonki is at it - 2 great lists in just a few hours - well done, sir!
Handlock with Archwitch Willow!
Very enjoyable list that I manage to pilot with somewhat good result ; nicely done!

Goes well paired with vladimir 2 triggers for 6 hp for his lvl up.
Give this guy regeneration and every turn you get 3 health back until the opponent is able to remove it.
