I really, really hope this is not leading up to a Trundle reveal. We already have 1 non-Targon champ out of 7 total for this expansion.
I will be very, very sad if we only get 5 champs from Targon.
As for these cards ... they are probably fine and decently designed, but they don't appeal to my personal play style.
What we know in bold, what I suspect in italics:
August 28
7 new champions including Taric and Lulu; 82 non-champions
Champs will be 5 Targon, 1 Ionia, 1 Frejlord (Trundle); 50-ish Targon non-champs; Ionia + Frejlord get ~9 non-champs/ea, 5 remaining regions get ~2/ea.
October
3 new champions; 37 non-champions
Champs will be 1 Targon + 2 other; those 3 regions get ~9 non-champ/ea; 5 remaining regions get ~2/ea
December
3 new champions; 37 non-champions
Same as October but with whatever 3 regions didn't get new champs yet
OH I see so some regions won't get their expnasion at all until december.. It makes sense to do it like this so the meta can evolve.
Used to be on Hearthpwn, only recently back into Hearthstone and started LoR. Just played my first game of PVP in LoR and already got BM'd with thinking emotes and then my opponent went ahead and played everything they had on their lethal turn. All I have to say to this individual and their ilk is that you are honestly the worst type of card game player and what makes these games feel so toxic and offputting at times. You literally couldn't help your drive to toxicity even though you were clearly an experienced player with a netdeck that should have recognized a beginner using a basic deck. You could have won with just 1 Overwhelm attack, but you played your entire hand and fostered toxicity in a game that really should be devoid of it. I hope players like you don't drive other new players away from a relatively new game with a lot of potential. You didn't drive me away, but man, I hope people like you are few and far between because this game will fail if the community turns into a Hearthstone 2.0 community.
I appreciate Starving Buzzard very much. I've always wanted to change that card to be somewhat useful again. Never did I think of the "if a friendly beast died" trigger. That's very unique and is flavorful.
I think Princess Huhuran isn't good enough. The card gets overshadowed by other effects. Honestly she is another card I wish they'd change. Even a simple "Deathrattle triggers TWICE" would at least give it a unique effect.
I like [Hearthstone Card (Wondering Monster) Not Found] but I don't think I'd want to see it in classic.
Monsterous Mark is a very cool concept. Hunter has those hit minion and face cards which make since. This is a psuedo Trample (mtg) kinda. I like it.
Storm Arrows, I just don't see what it sets up. Cool idea and all but 10 mana destroy and King Krush is out. Dunno how I feel about that. Also that with Vol'jin would be annoying.
Bestial Wrath, I don't disagree with this card going but Immune is underrated. Just saying.
Overall I liked it. Those are my highlights. Also I think considering newest set cards is dangerous. I get the effects are great or they'd fit a roll. They also have the least time to be used and explored by the community. I'd think blizzard would more likely just make newer cards but I understand swapping in cards for the same role is easier.
Princess Huhuran is not that strong of a card for sure, but while my set changes are to improve the overall power level, I still need to keep it lower to still excite people when new and stronger cards come to the game. It's sad, but thirst for money to pay the employees and develop the company is as important as giving everyone a chance to get better cards. I thought of making her a 4-Cost, but then Mok'Nathal Lion.
About Storm Arrows, I think this is the best control tool that I could probably give. Initially, it made your Hero Power target minions and destroy them instantly, refreshing on targeting minions and costing (0) when doing so. But after thinking of possible applications, this was just a way too fancy way to describe "Destroy all enemy minions" for the most part. And also it has some nice applications within Hunter, being one of the control tools to give you a free gateway to deal damage to face if you have any board. I also think it's synergy with Zul'jin is probably on an appropiate power level in Wild, seeing that nowadays you can OTK on turn 3 as Druid.

I love Pen Flinger and built a Quest Shaman with him early on. I did not see that Warlock deck coming. Made me laugh way to hard. Wish I had Rin I'd give it a go.
The Infinite Deck hunter is an unexpected result too. I might have to give that one a shot.
I understand the frustrations with Res Priest. Resurrection overall is a fun mechanic and very Priestly. However with the mana cheating that exists in he game results in high cost minions coming out very early. This isn't a bad thing overall with most of the tools we have. Resurrect, the card specifically, causes an issue here. Giving a cheap way to bring back that cheated out minion multiple times, turn after turn is the disheartening part. Killing one minion for 4 turns and still loosing to it (or at this point multiple incarnations) sucks.
The tools we are given vary and come with issues. Either too slow (The Amazing Reno), too random (Devolve) or too dangerous (Gravelsnout Knight) as summoning stuff for an aggressive opponent just means you die quicker. I like all the tools and they can be used in fun ways.
As others have said there are still issues that should be fixed:
#1 is getting a graveyard into the game. Yes it is a lot of work both to develop and to teach players. However with all the Res spells in the game (not just priest) this would be a worthwhile investment for the game.
#2 Big minions getting resummoned at full stats/effects EARLY. Resurrect being so cheap it needs to have limitations. Example, minions come back as 1/1 versions or come back silenced (which can be useful too) or it can only summon 3 cost or lower minions.
#3 Archmage Vargoth shouldn't cast spells he doesn't see. I like cards like this. It can be interesting and makes you play/build around his ability. However him casting spells he was not aware of (dead, in hand, deck) is too much. Especially when you get multiple going it becomes annoying to shut down. If it was some big set up to get him to cast a spell then fine. But just playing him, hoping he dies and casting 18 mana worth of stuff is overboard.
Overall I think Resurrection effects are great and work everywhere else at mid-late effects (Kangor's Endless Army, [Hearthstone Card (Booodreaver Gul'dan) Not Found]). The early effects and multiplying big minions in Priest need to be toned down as the tools aren't accurate enough to keep them in check.
Terrorguard Escapee has been great in warlock. Easy to deal with small minions he summons and the 3/7 body isn't anything to ignore. Been using him alot in Kenrethad and Galakrond Warlock decks.
This card is weird, it's like a frostbite but not as good, but then it's like potion of iron but gives you a way to defend 2 targets maybe?
it's +1 mana on potion of iron to get a better trade.. is it worth? maybe..
I think VaBeZ's post was spot on: it's like a mini Fury of the North. It creates a total differential of -4 so you'll probably be able to save your unit from a negative trade; its less versatile as Fury but more than just Elixir of Iron x2 and it's cheap enough to be cast entirely from spell mana.
I called it potion. Oops.. Well, this costs 2 vs 1 on elexir of iron, it does matter quite a bit but I guess the - 2 attack + the bundling cost make it better I think I would pay 2 mana for elexir of iron sometimes that card is that good, the - 2 attack is probably better than it seems.. Hard to evaluate card, fury of the North is all in one place, this casts 2 1 cost spells at the same time.
I made a thread about this not too long ago, it got stuck in the spam filter, so no one ever saw it, but i'll just restate it here. It was based around revamping morkimus' anti-rez tech deck(not the skateboards), into the new expansions because activision clearly has no intention of nerfing the rez mechanic. In fact they're printing more cards like Vectus so priest can abuse the mechanic even more, and more buff cards to where you can rez and buff and use the activate the obelisk quest and be generally annoying all around. I've been testing out some changes, haven't found anything solid yet though.
[Hearthstone Card (Lorekeeper polkelt) Not Found](basically freeze mage, play polkelt topdeck blizzard freeze them out for an OTK, Just keep telling yourself the whole time, that running Mindrender Illucia in a rez deck is bad deck design and don't be too upset when they play it anyway.)

Compare with Entreat, which is 1 mana cheaper for a guaranteed tutor of what is likely the most critical cards in any deck--and nobody plays that. Then here's Call of the WildBADCARDNAME, which is
Literally only playable in either a Yeti, Poro, or Elnuk deck
Implicitly depends on said deck to be successful--elnuks are unplayable, poros are inconsistent, and yetis are popular only recently because of Ashe Noxus decks which will almost certainly get nerfed on the upcoming Sept 16 balance patch
Fairly expensive for only possible draw--for 3 mana + a card it really needs to draw at least 2, preferably 3 to be viable.
I could perhaps see this card having long-term play after some tuning--decreasing of mana cost, guaranteed tutor, or increasing the search beyond just 4 cards--but as-is this will see a little bit of experimentation in Ashe Noxus decks between Aug 28-Sep 16, then fall into oblivion.
Well...Reno Warlock WAS a known deck. It hasn't been in the meta for a while, actually pretty much since the Raza unnerf. So while yes, it was a deck long ago (then again, what wasn't in Wild?), what the deck would look like now and what cards it may use to combat what's currently in the meta might be rather new and interesting to see. It would require, of course, that someone seriously experiment with the deck and have enough results to report to make the deck worth featuring. If a random theorycraft were to pop up here then I might as well obviously throw a Renolock together myself; it's more of the tested, refined, "weathered" lists that I would love to see highlighted. Which, granted, might be few and far between. I may not be the only person to experiment with homebrews out there but we are in the minority.
But I also think, to mirror your argument, that pretty much anyone can throw together some Mark McKz 8 card combo and get a win with it after 2 hours of trying at Silver. I don't think that level of meme is highlight worthy, at least not worthy of the one time a week that Wild gets a mention.
Maybe Trundle will be 8 mana so this make sense, rn it doesn't
You have to try to consider what the full deck might look like, not just relative to the current meta.
Specifically: I could see these cards causing a resurgence of Warmother's Call decks. Faces of the Old Ones is like a cheaper Wyrding Stones, and Troll Scavenger + Troll Ravager provide some early game defense that doesn't feel awful when its pulled by your calling. The Behold 8+ mechanic also turns that archetype's biggest liability--that Call is effectively a dead draw until you have enough mana to play it--into a partial asset.
I really, really hope this is not leading up to a Trundle reveal. We already have 1 non-Targon champ out of 7 total for this expansion.

Well i mean there still are alot of cards to see so it potentially could become better.
And creating poros compared to drawing them from your deck makes an enormous difference, if you draw the poro you can draw into your other good cards.
If you create the poros you have a higher chance to draw into your remaining poros.
There are around 12 poros to use in freljord and another region* if you put them all in it increases your chances of the spell not fluking plus perhaps additional supporting cards could come, the other question is if you want to put 12-15 poros in your deck.
Theres always the risk of it fluking yeah but potentially drawing 4 cards for 3 mana makes it worth it i think.
I mean, What's the real benefit for you to learn all of the Targon cards right now ? Theorycraft ? Don't kid with me, You'll end up with netdecking anyways.
When expansion will be released, you'll be playing with all of the Targon cards you want, other than that, Just try to enjoy the reveal season without whining.

Potential additions by expansion:
Saviors of Uldum:
Reno the Relicologist
Puzzle Box of Yogg-Saron(?)
Zephrys the Great(potential highlander possibility in wild. zephrys can get Cabal Shadow Priest early)
Golden Scarab(potentially more Polymorph)
Descent of Dragons(and Galakrond's Awakening):
Malygos, Aspect of Magic(mainly for Malygos's Polymorph, but eight damage from Malygos's Flamestrike wouldn't be bad either or even Malygos's Intellect for draw)
The Amazing Reno POOF
Ashes of Outland:
Evocation(potentially more Polymorph)
Magtheridon(i would never craft this card for this deck, but it does make sense for the matchup.)
Infectious Sporeling(sounds good but probably doesn't work, priest has removal for things like this)
Terrorguard Escapee(one of the new cards for this deck. Mostly an excuse as to why they haven't nerfed the rez mechanic, but it could work nicely)
Scholomance Academy:
Devolving Missiles(potentially not good enough, but i'll try it out.)
