I love Deathrattle Hunter and was happy to see it supported again in Ashes of Outland. Sylvanas was a natural pick for this, I hope she isn't too boring because of the alternate hero skin. I'm still thinking about the name and looking for art, but what do you think so far? Is Battlecry AND Deathrattle too much? I don't want her to be beaten by Teron Gorefiend... is she too similar to him?
You should specify 'other', because as it stands Leper Gnome + this will OTK your opponent.
Personally, when cards get to the finals I compare them to each other and grade on a scale - the card or cards I want to win get a 5, the worst card (in the finals) gets a 1, and everything else falls somewhere in between.
So in this final, as an example, I gave Cleansing Surveyor a 5, Incendiary Chicken a 1, and went from there (I believe those were the only 5 and 1 I gave, not completely sure).
Can we submit token legendaries like Thaddius or VOLTRON?
As in, make a class card out of VOLTRON? I would say no, because they are not collectible. For the same reason I would say no to Chromie, even though she is technically a Neutral Legendary card.

On the subject of people voting way too harshly... How in the hell are Incendiary Chicken and Grand Apothecary Putress worthy of 13 1 star ratings?!?! I'm curious to know how any of the cards in the final were worthy of a 1 star rating? Are people not voting on a 5 star basis in the finals, but marking them by "favorite to least favorite"? If so, we should change the voting of the finalist cards to rating from 1-8 instead of a 5 star system.
Don't know about anyone else, but when it comes to the finals I basically always give out 5-stars or 1-star. 5-stars for the card I want to win, and 1-star for everyone else. At that point we're looking for a sole winner, so I give the card I want to win the maximum chance of victory. This is especially true if I'm one of the finalists: frankly, how else should I vote? I would be shooting myself in the foot and jeopardizing my chances to win by giving someone else more than 1-star. I don't do this during the regular voting period, but I absolutely do so if I'm in the finals.
On a side note, we (the moderators) have been discussing the possibility of removing the ability to vote for finalists if you yourself are a finalist. That would remove the situation I just described, wherein the meta way to "play the game" is to vote 5-stars for yourself and 1-star to everyone else.
This seems lopsided. It's extremely powerful if you have a board, but it's extremely bad if you don't. Because it costs 10 mana, you're spending your entire turn worth of mana to play this one card with a symmetrical ongoing effect, and if you don't have any other minions, your opponent gets to benefit from it first, which may result in killing you
I want to ask for more feedback for my card. What did you vote and why? What could I have done better? And what should I do better next time?
In the interest of honesty I gave the card a three, although it could have been a four I suppose. There's nothing inherently wrong with the card, I would say, but I didn't find it particularly novel or exciting. It's alright, in just about every aspect. Alright flavor, alright balance (maybe a little strong), and alright creativity. I imagine some would find it un-fun, though, as I said originally, so that might have hurt the vote.
Thinking back I noticed I've been pretty harsh in my votes lately. Something I need to think about/fix on my end.
Honestly, a lot of people vote way, WAY too harshly in here. It came to a point where I’m hesitant to rate cards at all, because my ratings just plummet relative to the ratings I give other cards.
That being said, a pleasant surprise to be in the finals, GL to everyone!
Congrats to the winner! Not my favorite of the bunch, but definitely a worthy victor! Great job everyone!

If one is in the finals, that person might vote their own card 5 stars and every other card 1 star to simply further their own chances of winning. If every finalist does this, then it ultimately has no effect, but this is not typically the case.
But as I wasn't in the finalists, I voted Incendiary Chicken 1 star (both here and during the regular voting period) because it's an incredibly weak and bad card, and the fact that it's a chicken (and therefore a bit of a joke card), does not make up for that.

Literally the only reason I gave him a Burgle Rogue effect (and put him in Rogue) is because of his original card having a Burgle Rogue effect.
The only problem with this card I see is Archmage Antonidas. If you managed to get him and cast one spell, then you've won the game because you have infinite 0-Cost Fireballs.
Here we go; let me start things off :) I'm pretty happy with this one:
It's a reference to The Lich King, of course. Being a Pure Paladin card represents Arthas' zealotry, while the effect represents the Culling of Stratholme, a major moment in his character development (i.e: his descent into madness).
It’s usually not a good sign when the meta’s foremost control archetype can’t silence its premier aggro strategy.
The latest versions of Galakrond priest I saw (it's actually the second most popular deck among streamers after box mage) are more mid decks than control decks, they don't even run Plague of Death and many have no Holy Nova at all. Instead, they rely on high value cards, such as Sethekk Veilweaver or Thoughtsteal
So yes the match up is not that good against DH, but saying the meta is not in a good place because DH tempo beats Galak priest is not totally accurate imho.
Not really. We know it's a linear story (so not a Dungeon Run), and we know that it won't include any new cards for classes. We know nothing about its release date.
Hopefully we should be seeing something for it soon, 'cause this has been a really long wait.
I found the competition themed "The price of power" very interesting. It allowed us to design OP effects which is cool for itself and then forced us to balance them with a drawback of comparable strength. Lots of cool ideas and quite some variety among the submissions.
Kayn Sunfury is a fun little card, but honestly it is the weakest link in the deck. I replaced him with Illidari Felblade and didn't see a down count in my win rate.
This is exactly my point. In comparison with the other cards I mentioned Kayn is perfectly fair.
I've been having a lot of fun with Odd DH. My winrate is slightly better than 50%, so it's not too too good, but has many favorable matchups. I'm hoping for Legend.
Card draw is tough. In addition to the class options, I run 2x Coldlight Oracle.
I'm wondering how people feel about Fungalmancer? I haven't tried it yet, but it plays well in other Odd classes.
We have more solid options on the 5 slot than Rogue had (Warglaives, Adept with a weapon equipped) and less weenies (no lackeys, much less pirates. Fungalmancer is only good when you consistently have 2 minions on board T5. I don’t like it in DH.

This should be interesting!
Here's my first idea:
Edit: Making a Sylvanas Hunter card seems too obvious. I redact this idea.
