low ranks of runeterra are damn near impossible without a decent collection.
my winrate even in casual matches is between 10 and 20% right now. It's simply a game of who draws the nuts first.
Why don't you have a decent collection yet though? from 2 weekly vaults and level 8 on every region (3 weeks of playing and completing quests got 3 PVP weeks daily and only one 7 wins expedition). I feel really comfortable about my collection and I am F2P, if you lose so much you might want to look up what you are doing wrong.. it's impossible to climb in any game without an actual deck.. if you are having a hard time figuring out the game I recomend you to watch streamers.. recommed MegaMogwai and Swim they are both at master rank and have very good history of other card games.
Swim has also a lot of tips for beginners and how to make the best of your collection mogwai probably plays jankey enough decks you might like, IIRC you don't like aggro decks he tend to play comoish/control decks.
I personally think 20 hp is too low when your unit HP stat follows Hearthstone rules, even if your unit blocking follows Magic rules.
Personally I think the only reason Magic gets away with 20 hp is the fact that pretty much every creature effectively has Regenerate. And healing is incredibly common on top of that, and you can overheal. Where as in Runeterra that is not the case.
But that's just my opinion :/

That was a very interesting deep dive on the ethereals! I mostly played during Burning Crusade and Wrath of the Lich King, and they've been my favourite non-player race in World of Warcraft ever since. Thanks for writing this!

Some decks specifically only play ionia to get access to deny. The tier1 deck with mistwraith uses it for shadow assassin and deny. The rest is SI. That might qualify what Riot thought as a reason to change things
This deck is nuts. Didn't lose a single game between 10 and 6, went against Secret Mage, Even Shaman, Cube Lock, some sort of Control Shaman... you name it.
One question though: I'm missing Luna and currently play Chenvaala in her place. It's a golden copy I got from a pack and I don't see any other use for it. What do you think... dust and replace?

Obliterate means they are utterly destroyed, so completely that they do not trigger their Last Breath if they have one. They also cannot be revived, because they do not go to the "graveyard".

You should try to ping Riot servers (those are the league servers, so they might be different but they are mostly the same routing):
NA - 104.160.131.3 - america EUW - 104.160.141.3 - europe west EUNE - 104.160.142.3 -europe east OCE - 104.160.156.1 - australia LAN - 104.160.136.3 -latin america
Search cmd -> open it-> ping (your closest server depending on your region) press enter you can put -t to ping several times.
For example: ping 104.160.142.3 -t
If your ms>150 or so, you have lags.
Contact Riot's support for more analysis they could help you figure out what causes your lags, they really helped me when I contacted them.

Thought about it as well.. there's no way Riot doesn't have anything planned for that point it should happen approximately in 2.5/3 months where the first player will max out his regional rewards.. I guess the vault is always a progress to be made.. in league as you have all champions you can still use BE to buy new ones AND to buy cosmetics twice a year.. so even I who play since 2012 still don't have around 100K spare blue essence (league's normal currency)

I don't really see Karma fits since you don't have any spell that you really want to duplicate (like direct damage to the Nexus or other single target shots).
Karma gives you useful spells (sometimes) also doubles Dawn and Dusk and makes you Deny-proof.

I agree, if so I would suggest replacing Karma with Ashe, and add more frostbite to the deck, frostbite is really the reason to run freljord control and you don't have enough of it, I think you can replace the ramping tools for frostbite since stalling is probably better than ramping anyway, plus it's good against deny.
Also I don't agree with having 2 Minah Swiftfoot I think yone is just better cause he is 2 mana cheaper for a similar effect on one less target (at that stage of the game recalling is similar or even worse than stunning), but I would suggest going for Avarosan Hearthguard instead if you can cause your curve is too high.

There is only Minah Swiftfoot from Ionia except Deny and Dawn and Dusk and She helps so much for buffed Elusives on board to obliterate them with She Who Wanders while you were frostbiting their way to end game.

Elise is in the Deck to genereate pressure and blockers and to eat removal as far as i see it. I got decks with her in the Focus and ofc. she gets more spiders there :) lets call her kind of a decoy here

and it's too much of a mishmash of stuff, it's not clear what's the goal of your deck, you run Elise but not many spiders, you run The Undying but not too many ways to abuse the card, I would suggest first to really decide which style of deck you are going for, this deck has aggro,control and midrange tools currently as it stands it's a weird midrange deck and not control, there are many control decks for FJ + SI one I really liked is this deck:

Also about ranks, you start at the lower middle portion of the ladder at silver, the ranks go iron-bronze-silver-gold-platinum-diamond-master just like in league and in TFT. that's Riot's ranking system. every tier has 4 levels from IV-> I while the lower the letter the better. I would suggest against playing ranked before you have a real deck cause you will then get to a lower rank and will have to apply more effort just to return to the starting point.

i mean i dont rant because people can play what they want. but what do i do against them when i dont want to play those decks?
the only reason why i dont want to is becuase im a little strange at games and i dont enjoy the stuff everyone plays .... so if there is on way around i might play elusive but id rather have another option
