I am really struggling to make any progress at low ranks and don't have enough to craft these super expensive decks. What do you recommend for low tier budget decks?
You are kidding, right? the decks are really inexpensive the first one doesn't even run any champions,
it runs 12 rares and 2 epics.. that's quite budget you can craft that easily..
if you want to get as many rares and commons then level up each region in multiples of 4 you get a wild capsule at 4 and 8 and a champion capsule at 8 and 16 that's really the best way to expand your collection
You can run the Mistwraith list without Hecarim, the third Elise and definitely without Kalista, if you have Thresh I recommend you to add them even if your only other champion is Elise, Thresh is good as stand alone unit, 3/6 challenger for 5 is amazing.

I was actually just thinking the other day about how fair and balance Leeroy is, and how well designed of a card he is. Is he powerful? Yes. Does he need to be HoF'd? No.
He isn't in every deck. He's just more common in the meta right now because this is a very aggro/midrange board/tempo meta and having the finisher to close out the game is strong but there are metas where only rogue and maybe an aggro deck or two plays him. In the previous two expansions and most of year of the raven only some rogue and hunter decks played him.
I think the card is healthy for the game. There is nothing wrong with a neutral benchmark for burst damage.
I think their goal is to drain the people that want cosmetics from their gold. I invested about $150 for the last 8 months. Currently, have an almost a full collection from Rare drafting, then turning gold item gems. Takes me about 67 drafts to get most of what I need to just open packs after.
Not to mention that Historic Event Challenge is a great way to farm historic cards. You get 3 rares for 5 wins, easy Mono Green Stompy farm. 2 wins and you break even in gold investment.
I'm with FortyDust. Maybe I just don't get the mentality of today's playerbase (in Hearhtstone, for instance), but I think expecting compensation from a developer for nerfing a card that you own is the definition of entitlement. The devs aren't maliciously stripping your hard-earned cards of their power - they're balancing the game to bring it into a better state. If nerfs are handled competently, the affected cards won't become unplayable, they'll become fairer. A developer giving out refunds/rewards for that seems asinine to me, and I think it's sad that some devs feel forced to do so in order to retain customers.
I think I'm with you and 40, but to attempt devil's advocate: say within a month, Fiora decks become super refined to the point where they have > 60% winrate in non-mirror matches and comprise 30% of all decks on ladder. You don't have a large collection and you're tired of constantly losing, so you channel the ancient adage for when you can't beat them, netdeck some winning decklists, crack your wallet to buy 3 champion wildcards and then use up them plus all your freebie wildcards to craft something that you can compete with. Then a week later, Riot announces that they dislike the prevalence and success of Fiora so they are going to nerf her win condition from 4 kills to 6, and as a result Fiora decks go to ~45% winrate and <1% playrate. You feel enraged, right? You just paid $10 USD plus most of your starter resources towards a deck that will never climb ladder--what are you going to do now? Not only are you out the cash, but you still don't have a competitive deck AND your out most of your wildcards. Maybe you even stop playing altogether. However if Riot were to allow you to convert your Fioras back into 3 wildcards, you have a path forward. You could pick a new archetype and swap over to that. You still might need to grind / buy some common and rare wildcards to field a full deck, but at least you have your choice of any three new champions, so that $10 doesn't feel "lost".
The above scenario assumes 1.) there's a hyper-broken strategy that suddenly dominates the entire meta, 2.) management over-compensates for said strategy rendering certain high-cost cards to be almost worthless, and 3.) said cards stay worthless for the foreseeable future. I feel like Riot has done an exceptional job balancing this game so far and that their commitment to regular balance patches and practice to include buffs as well as nerfs makes each of these conditions very unlikely, let alone all 3 simultaneously. That said: I'm also shocked it happens ever with veteran CCG companies who invest millions of dollars and labor hours developing balanced expansions **cough**Oko Thief of Crowns**cough**Galakrond Shaman**cough**.

Kalista lol, don't craft her she is quite garbage, play a second hecarim on that list 100%, and Thresh is great too, I really recommend playing Thresh in general such a powerful card (great vs elusives too!).
I tend to agree with swim(a streamer) on his view, Mistwraiths are a meme, Wraithcallers are amazing, but the Mistwraiths are 2/2 fearsome for 2 you could run more impactful cards than them, you don't need them to play your Wraithcallers, also demacia is so much better than 3/2 Denys and 3/2 Shadow Assassins.
I like how champion-lite are those decks, for sure most people don't even have the champions so they might be good for the decks they are in, also most players are able to complete such decks by now without problems, it feels great.. also saw enough people buying the boards and pets so I am hopeful Riot is making their profit off this to continue supporting this game.
I mean the fact that you die first from a resolved spell before your opponent dies from your board makes sense mechanically, but thinking about it, it is a shitty mechanic in its core.
I guess this is more about the back and forth action trading, but yet another example of a loss you can sustian from a commanding lead on the board. I dont know if i like this.
A commanding lead on the board has nothing to do with it -- that will never be an absolute guarantee of victory. All that matters is who drops to zero first.
(Otherwise, they may as well delete Ezreal from the game.)
Assuming we're drawing a direct comparison to League, the answer would be that you get nothing, but you'll wind up using those cards in three months anyway as the revolving door of 'balance' changes comes around :P
More likely, you'll never stop using them and won't even blink.
That's what happened with the pre-beta nerfs, anyway.

A slow control style Shaman - with some very greedy cards. The Fist of Ra-den is pretty cool. Especially when comboed with Eye of the Storm! The last game is pretty mental. Hakkar leads to the downfall of my opponent ;-) Corrupted Blood lethals are the best lethals.

Would be cool if they changed it to something similar to Overwatch's System, where you can actually see someone's Progress. Like, you could add Borders or add some Stars next to the Player's Name to show how much they play a certain Class.
... And yeah, more free Stuff would also be great.
It would probably be Wildcards that get refunded, but they're doing balance updates so fast I'm not sure if they want to crank out refunds every single month. I guess we'll find out for sure in the next 2 weeks.
He does seem to be the Auto-Include in everything and this "draw back" isn't really that bad given that he is used primarily for the finishing move. With that mind, sacking him would really hinder A LOT of aggro strategies.
