Ok thx, pity we can't access it while in the thread itself, but better than nothing I guess until we get better tools. Keep on the great job you do on this site!
Is the collection manager and app like Innkeeper from Hearthpwn ever going to make it to this site?
It was the one thing that kept me coming back to Hearthpwn back in the day and as much as I prefer the coverage and forums here, without a card manager to help with knowing which decks I can easily craft or not, I'm more inclined to use Hearthpwn over this site.
Research has shown them that more frequent changes is better for player retention than less frequent
You don't say...
I'm just glad they stopped assuming their players were idiots and more would benefit from the more frequent changes than being "too confusing" for existing and returning players.
This news has made me more excited for the future of Hearthstone.
Just to be clear - the only difference between pre-ordering and buying the adventure with gold is a golden classic pack? No exclusive card back or anything?
Well, I can confidently say that I will make Hearthstone my casual area and play 3 games in a day most of the times (due to daily quests) and make my main focus on Runeterra since I am playing Hearthstone in meme-y way.
not having safezones for casual decks in hearthstone makes me mad at game even if love to play the game. So, I will try my chance with LoR.
And I will be in Runeterra in next week instead of Hearthstone. I might do quests for adventures and buy them with gold in time but really won't care about my Hearthstone collection anymore. I already got so wide Wild Hearthstone collection and it will help me enjoy playing hearthstone enough times in casual, i hope.
As a player since 2013, i'm enjoying this meta not being stable for too long and i always hoped they did something like this one day! So, I'm loving this new HS philosophy, even though i know activision greed has a place on it.
You cannot expect them to perfectly judge the power of 135 cards when they are part of a huge and complex system. There are just way too many variables to get every last one of them right, especially when some cards are intended to be powerful. This is no excuse for not trying to balance the cards properly, just a reason for the players to forgive a few mistakes each expansion.
The power of the Galakrond decks was a major misstep though, and Shaman's especially should never have been allowed out. This in particular has inflated the number of changes this expansion, alongside the recent change in philosophy from the devs it seems.
That isn't true. Releasing a balanced set should be the goal, but I cant blame the team if it cannot happen, the card pool is too big to test everthing. Reacting quickly to the meta should be the norm, as the first week are the most fun. Nerfing is just a way to reach the goal as best as possible.
As far as I know there is no information about that.
I guess we will just have to be surprised!
That would be nice. I want it to be a surprise as each wing comes out. Why ruin the fun with a bunch of spoilers
Because of pre-order, and because people should have better information on their choice of expenditure of 700 gold per wing, or indeed 20 bucks (which is not small given the monstrosity that is exchange rates on my country)
So why should we care that you are an alcoholic? It's your life. Waste it however you see fit.
Lets say OP is an alcoholic for the sake of your statement. Do you really think your comment is constructive? Do you think it is a positive comment that would help someone who is struggling with an addiction? I am gunna go with no.
Just because they played a game drunk does not mean they are an alcoholic. But if they are, I wouldn't jump to insulting them.
Maybe that's the point. To make him feel bad and stop doing it. It's clearly not the first time he's done it, so this is already a (bad) habit. Reasoning with him has a low chance of success because of this (probably those who actually care about his health already told him to stop getting drunk, even if he's not an alcoholic, since that's how you become one in time).
But now you made me write this, so he's not gonna refrain from drinking anymore, probably. Good way to ruin some reverse psychology. GG.
@OP: i do hope you stop getting drunk overall, no matter what reasons you have of doing it in the first place.
Hmm, I'm only missing Swamp King Dred, who I have been wanting to craft for a long time anyways. This looks like a stupid amount of fun. I have spare dust sitting around, fuck it. I'm in! Here's my upvote! I'm going to go craft this very F2P friendly deck and go have some fun!
3 matches vs the final boss for 1st place. They didn't stand a chance once my board had all of that on it for the last go. Not going to have luck like that in BG for a while, guess I better mess around on ladder for a while.

Card reveal schedule
Just read the article and you will find the schedule for the wings: https://outof.cards/hearthstone/682-4-new-cards-revealed-from-hearthstones-new-galakronds-awakening-solo-content-launches-january-21
According to that the next reveal probably come this or next week.
Is a collection manager ever coming?
Crafting cost coming soon? Isn't it already available on the deck page as a filter? Works for me.
Unless we're talking about two different things...?
Galakrond's Awakening
So all the cards will be playable in standard/wild ladder and only possibility is to buy the expansion (gold/money)?
Is a collection manager ever coming?
I mean i'm not a dev but "crafting cost" is "coming soon" as written in the deck page.
So it definitely on the way

Hey there and thanks for your comment!
Swamp King Dred can be good versus certain Combo decks who rely on for example: Sorcerer's Apprentice
Aggro is your worst match up, yes you can tech against it but it'll be less fun, in my opinion.

Hearthstone Devs Speak! Iksar on Nerfing Cards, Buffing Cards and Power Level
The point is that, SURELY, if your main goal is powerlevel, frequent nerfs become an excuse.
Just look at Galakrond Shaman: it was OBVIOUSLY OP, with no need of testing!
But hey, people seem to like this policy and unstable meta. So they are right in being nearly careless with design and nerfs.
I just wonder how sustainable it is, about attracting and keeping new players in the game...

High powerlevel + frequent nerfs => Mass Hysteria
We are forgetting that cards should be released balanced, and nerfs shouldn't be the norm...
