Have to agree in principal, although I would say unless you've crafted Zentimo, the previous round of nerfs pretty much nailed all the epics and legendaries concerned so there shouldn't be any issues with the dust refund.
On the other hand it can also enable previously useless epics and legendaries to shine a little brighter. Still waiting for Raid the Sky Temple to be more than just a fun card.

You have over 1 year to create this, but WotC is just telling you now!?!
while im all for nerfs for balance, i fear it hurts ppl with low dust, which are f2p. they craft a good deck, 15 days later its nerfed and they are left with no dust. even the refunds arent sufficient cause u need a full deck that revolves around a couple of epics and legendaries
Yeah i just was facing much slower decks so i swapped it in for Unleash the Hounds. The bomb is just a bonus deathrattle. You don't really have to destroy it, your opponent will likely do that for you when they try to clear your board, but it is also a target for [Hearthstone Card (misdirect) Not Found] on occasion, could be buffed by a Leokk, or even destroyed by Arcane Shot if you have Necromechanic in play.
3/7 of the nerfs this time weren't Mana increases. 2/4 nerfs last time weren't Mana increases. They've actually been doing less Mana increases recently than previously. Mana increases tended to be the most common way they nerfed a card (and there's a reason for that) but it's far from the only way.
Mana increases are the most efficient way of nerfing cards; it's an important stat to hit while still maintaining the card's effect. One of the most famous 'nuke-from-orbit' nerfs, Warsong Commander, was so poorly received in part because the card doesn't function in the same way at all anymore. That it's now a garbage tier card as well is just icing on top.
I tried this deck and over the very small number of games I played the deck just felt kind of confusing in some ways and just generally lacking. I feel like the deck didn't go all the way into hand, or big minions, or tokens, or control, or zoo/aggro and so it just felt really 'meh' throughout the whole game. It is like I can keep up with my opponent, but only sort of, and in the end I just lose because their strategy is just better than mine.
Could someone please enlighten me on this decks strategy?
I honestly really enjoy the more common nerf strategy, keeps things more fresh. We're like a month into the expansion and have had a different meta each week, with it constantly changing and evolving. AND the single-player content is coming out next week. It's honestly a very fun time and a good state for me right now IMO.
Though the nerf to Invocation of Frost is insane and Frog Galakrond Shaman was my main ladder deck pre-nerf, I like that devs are pre-preemptively nerfing Shaman. Shaman has had its time to shine, and I feel the post-nerf Shaman just needs time for refinement to become viable again.
Good question! The deck is already a bit more expensive than your typical Tempo Rogue list so another 6-drop is very clunky to play. We can always do better than playing a 6 mana 6/6, and we don't necessarily need to tutor our Galakrond to win games since we have so many other threats. Galakrond is just a nice bonus when we draw him
In my opinion one of the strengths of HS is that is an only-digital card game (that's why I love the Discover mechanic, something only possible on digital) and this kind of balance changes can be done relatively quick and reaching all players at the same time (not like MTG where format balancing is made only via un/banning cards and casual players can miss the news). I like this new faster balance changes philosophy.
Was Calix created by Klothys? Does that mean that the gods can create planeswalkers? If that's true, whats stopping the other gods from doing the same? Would a god theoretically be able to create a planeswalker army?
Why is Calix G/W instead of R/G like Klothys?
What's going to happen to Heliod? If the card says anything, it's only temporary, but what if Heliod gets forgotten? Would we have another Xenagos situation?
Yes. Yes, unintentionally. They do not know they can do that and also to ignite a planeswalker spark you need very special conditions. Theoretically yes, practically no.
Because he is an "enchantment matter" planeswalker and red cannot do anything with enchantments. Storywise, Calix was instead of chaotic red nature imbued with white "follow my orders, kill Elspeth" purpose.
No, we would have opposite of Xenagos situation. Xenagos = +1 god Heliod forgotten = -1 god
I'm super late to comment on this, but just wanted to add in my appreciation for everyone who puts work into this site. It personally brings me a lot of joy, and I can't thank you all enough.

Legends of Runeterra - Open Beta Starts January 24
Is there a sizable amount of hearthstone players, or indeed users of this website, that will be participating on the open beta?
I wonder how much of a coincidence this is that the open beta starts near or on the day DoD's adventure opens.

The Bomb Toss seems a bit strange to me as you don't seem to have ways to actually "pop" the Goblin Bomb you get out of it.

I've tried messing with Arcane Devourer before too but it seems like a pipe dream.. Good on you if you can make it work

I tried the Muzzy variant, yeah, I underestimated the amount of Tokens Sinister Deal and EVIL Genius generates esp. the Faceless Lackey.
