As we are preparing for the grand finale of the Hearthstone Year of the Dragon, let's take a moment to appreciate all the entertaining and flavorful trailers we've gotten over the years so far. I'd like people to rank their favorite Hearthstone trailers and list the basic reasoning. Doesn't have to be every single one if you don't want to. For example, I tend to judge the trailers by how catchy/humble I find them. For this reason, Rastakan's Rumble and Saviors of Uldum are at the top, while non-musical trailers like Ungoro or ones with little music like Rise of Shadows are at the bottom. Tell us your thoughts and prefrences for what you like to see in these trailers.
Freezing Potion costs 0. Hero Powers are supposed to be equivalent to somewhat-lacking 0-cost spells. It's on the stronger side, but it's still within the margin.
All of the sets in the game are from Ixalan forward, but there are around 20-30 cards or so (I didn't count them) that have been added to the game from older sets.
Just necroing this thread to see if anyone has any cards, particularly legendaries, stagnating in their collection that have been thrust into the limelight by the DoD meta.
For me, the biggest turnaround for me has been in my use of this guy:
He's always been a great card, but I think this is the first time control warlock has been a competitive decks since before witchwood was released. Currently having a blast using him in the vs control galacrond warlock list.
Does anyone else have any cards that haven't previously seen play but are shining in the new meta?
and the game was well opt-ed in preview and seemed like completed to me. There were just little bugs like multiple quests for a day and some glitches like blinking cards and they corrected those iirc.
and There are upcoming content for their rivals, Adventure and new cards for HS and a brand new expansion for MTG:A. It will be a wise move to release the closed beta asap to gather some players and influence before other hypes just start.
This month will be so fun to watch and play for card games, Tomorrow(speculated) LoR, 22th HS, 25th MTG:A. It is simply a card games and a twitch war between those.
BATTLECRY: Fill your board with random dinosaur minions that are part of Bran's hunting pack of trained dinosaurs (non-collectible minions)
HERO POWER: Mark prey, 2 mana mark an enemy minion. Your minions do 1 extra damage to it. Whichever minion kills it can't die as a result (left with 1 health).
(Not a prediction but something like these is my dream for the other explorers.)
Elise is a leader and educator so
BATTLECRY: Add one of the "Wisdom of Elise" battlecries to each minion in hand
HERO POWER: Teach a minion, 2 mana randomly give +1/+2, taunt, or full heal to a friendly minion
---------
Bran's a hunter so

______
Finley's a gentleman explorer so
BATTLECRY: Discover one of Finley's treasures
HERO POWER: Search for treasure. 2 mana blind discover, so you just see three card backs. One of them gives you one of Finley's treasures. The other two are just sand.)
I wonder if the cast works for card effects since it is your hero casting spells. If you cast a secret does it buff secret keeper for instance. Will be an interesting thing for sure.
No, because SecretKeeper specifically says "When a secret is played." which requires it to be played directly from your hand.
I'm trying Unseen Saboteur rn. Since there's Bloodbloom and Cataclysm I thought I give it a try. There's also a Chance of hitting The Soularium. But, ... its not that good if you ain't drawing that Card and they play Hemet on 6.
Also thought it could be a potential Counter to Wild Quest-Mage, but thus far I hadn't any Luck with it. Cuz, ya know... they're whole damn Hand IS NOTHING BUT RANDOM SPELLS!
Dirty rat aint the only disrupting card. Deathlord serves double purpose. Good vs aggro good vs combo. New beast for hunter. Albatross can delay as well but mostly if u play a control anti aghro deck ur bot winning. U need to be pro active play around the removal too
The deck seems to have everything: cycle, healing, mana cheat, broken removals.
Not unbeatable, but virtually flawless. It can't kill you by turn-6 as Sniplock could, but it can realiably survive long enough to just OTK you later.
Dirty Rat is too much of an highroll tbh, Aggro and Burn seem too unreliable. The window to kill them seems very narrow, to the point i typically feel hopeless against their ruthless cycling (historically, decks with so much cycle used to die in few turns while trying).
Im still not 100% convinced we will get more Hero Cards, but if we do, since they said they want to build upon mechanics introduced during the entire year with GA, my guess would be that each Hero Card could bring back something from other sets during the year, not just DoD.

Kobolds and Catacombs sits on another planet with its flawless vintage style.
Amongst the more human trailers, Saviors of Uldum is my favorite for the catchy song.

Custom Class - Kel'Thuzad, the Lich (WIP up to Rastakhan's Rumble)
Moonfire is just like the mage hero power.
Wisp is just like the paladin hero power.
Those are the two only examples of 0 mana cards that are just like hero powers, but if you want are willing to stretch it a little bit then
Arcane Shot is like the hunter hero power except upgraded.
Claw is like druid hero power except upgraded.
Iron Hide is like the warrior hero power except upgraded.
And those are all 1 mana cards.

Ok. Since it's been a while and Rofellos hasn't posted a riddle, would anyone mind if I took this one?

Hearthstone's Newest Card, The Amazing Reno, Has a Yogg-tastic Hero Power
I really really really hope we‘ll hear the Headless Horseman‘s way too long laughter every time this hero power activates. Praise Reno.

I really dont like the forced randomness... it kills the hype I had for this card would have liked it if it was a choice you could make.
Hearthstone's Newest Card, The Amazing Reno, Has a Yogg-tastic Hero Power
I think it's even better as the minions don't go into the graveyard and hence can't be rezzed.
