  • Skybarge

Doesn't seem terrible, pirates are nice and cheap and can flood the board pretty easy.

the Magnetic minions will make this guy stronger, fortunately they rotate out next year, but are you going to run a lot of mechs in a pirate deck?

  • Sky Raider

Strong card, a 1/2 for 1 isn't TERRIBLE stats, but drawing a pirate for 1 mana seems pretty good, especially with that new mech Warrior got

  • Surging Tempest

It's a fair tunnel trogg, nothing more, nothing less.

  • Quest Trading - Play A Friend!

    Tag: Bruthor#2221
    Region: EU
    Trade: You first

  • Storm's Wrath

Shamans can easily fill up a board no problem, and Mark of the Lotus saw play until it rotated. I fully believe this card will see play and will be run in many shaman decks

  • Descent of Dragons

    Look at Galakrond cards.

Warrior Galakrond is in matching frame - Red Galakrond in red frame. Shaman too (blue Galakrond in blue frame).

So why is priest Galakrond purple (the color of warlock frame), Rogue whiteish (the color of Priest frame) and warlock Dark greyish (rogue frame color)?

They should switch the images to match frame as they match in Warrior and Shaman.

  • [Day 1] DoD - Quest to Unleash the Tempest

Definitely some potential for some ridiculous Shudderwock turns

  • New Paladin Spell - Righteous Cause

Nah.. too inconsistent, a lot of times it will only buff 1-2 minions so its a tempo loss.

  • Bloodsail Flybooter

it's a 1/1 that adds two 1/1's to your hand that can be used as combo fuel.

It's not bad, but not great

  • [Day 1] DoD - Quest to Unleash the Tempest

Yeah definitely a card I wanted for find a slot for. Will probably add it in at some point during my testing

  • New Mage Spell - Elemental Allies

An elemental could be Violet Spellwing, Mana Cyclone, Cosmic Anomaly, Zephrys the Great, Siamat, Mountain Giant, Ragnaros to name a few obvious ones.

So this quest should not be that hard to complete, and the reward is very good. But it costs you a slot, and its not as consistent as normal draw. I like the other sidequest of mage more.

  • Grave Rune

It's a strong card, but I feel the reborn spell that's 1 mana is better since it's cheaper.

granted, 2 strong death rattle minions is much better than 1, but is your opponent going to let you take the time to set this up?

  • Eternal - Balance Changes 12/4

Here are screenshots of the changes, along with the previous ones from Nov. 27.

  • New Paladin Minion - Sky Claw

5/4 of stats (with the buff) over three bodies for 3 mana? Good deal! If mech paladin is a thing this will see some play.

  • Sylvanas Windrunner is Coming Back to Hearthstone as a Hunter Hero

    Yes!!!

  • New Paladin Minion - Lightforged Zealot

You don’t build a deck around this. But if you do build around Lightforged Crusader, this is an auto-include.

  • Lightforged Crusader

It's a big minion with good stats, that adds to your hand without increasing fatigue for your hero.

    Very good card

  • Lightforged Zealot

it's 8 mana worth on a 4 mana body, essentially allowing you to carry 4 Truesilver Champions in your deck, which is Paladin's favorite card

  • Rolling Fireball

5 mana deal 8 is real good, dealing the excess to minions next to your target is a nice bonus.

and because people are bad with minion positioning you might be able to take down 2 important minions with 1 spell

  • New Warrior Minion - Skybarge

So now we now exactly Blizzard wants to resurrect pirate warriors! It's a great snowball card but i'm not sure if it's enough to make this deck playable. With Ancharrr pirate warrior can become a beast since we got some pirates this expansion. I suppose we'll see pirate warrior in april after the next rotation. And we might get some support for this archetype in the future, so let's see.

  • New Neutral Minion - Grizzled Wizard

there is a good discussion on reddit about this. Swap hero powers and then wreck it with Sir finley or shadowform. Alternatively you swap it when someone is on their quest just before they complete it. For instance warlock when on the final stage of their quest - they complete the quest and then their new power swaps over to you on the next turn

For the memes for sure but interesting...

  • Mana Giant

Here's your new payoff card for the cyclone mage, a nice big 8/8 that can be discounted.

kind of a bummer if you draw him early cuz he'll just rot in your hand, but hey, if you discount him enough it doesn't matter, does it?

  • Blazing Battlemage

a good 1 drop, but is too filler to se any play.

  • Parachute Brigand

a good card to pirate decks and warriors will try to play pirates, so it's a good card to have.

  • Tasty Flyfish

a murloc who buffs a dragon is not impressive, neither good, you don't want to use this card on a dragon deck, so it will not see play.
