This deck looks like a lot of fun. I was thinking on crafting the shaman quest with some of my nerf dust and I think this convinced me.
Give it a try, the deck is really fun to play. And in case you aim to play more casually than seriously, I highly recommend adding both Rummaging Kobolds just like ArchSpike said. You will witness the gross things this deck can pull off against control.
Other than that, Corrupt the Waters offers many other interesting builds - I have seen some Meme Shudderyogg decks, some C'thun ones (check linkblade91's creation) and other Shudder combos, so the quest is definitely worth the craft.
This community mostly seems good. I'm hoping it's able to maintain how it feels right now when or if it gets much bigger. I do like that this site isn't tied exclusively to Hearthstone.
Ok, so after having played a couple of games with Mogu Fleshshaper and Evolve in casual I can say the following:
Those cards have the potential to create some busted, high-roll turns:
but I now am sceptical, if those are needed at all. From the 10-12 games I've played, I've managed to evolveMogu Fleshshaper only twice. So since the 2-card combo isn't consistent enough, it's not really ladderworthy imho. The cards, which I cut in order to make room for the 1-mana spells (MCT and EoS), are more valuable on the ladder. That said, the 3/4 can be good on his own and we can still evolve him by generating Witchy Lackeys, so I might consider removing the Jade Chieftains in favour for the prior card.
[edit] If someone is wondering, I actually lost the game you see above. The rogue found the needed burst to finish me off, which shows that the Evolve combo is too slow.
[edit 2] Tomorrow I will try running an AoE like Hagatha's Scheme and see how this would compete. I personally prefer minion combat and transform spells (like Devolve, Plague of Murlocs), in order to remove buffs and internal synergies.
Out of Cards is amazing, I love it here. As others noted above, this is a very active and positive community. I made a thread a few days ago looking for advice on getting my decks noticed, and not only did I get a bunch of really helpful tips, but someone went and upvoted all my decks. Also, I now have 2 decks featured on the main page. I enjoy this site almost as much as I enjoy playing Hearthstone (ok, a bit of an exaggeration).
Looks good! I like jade shaman in wild too. Gonna try your list. Thanks for sharing. How important is Zola in this deck?
edit: typo
First and foremost, I would like to wish you good luck on the ladder. Be warned, that I don't really think the deck is refined. It needs a tweak or two before I can call it finished. If you have Plague of Murlocs, use this instead of Mind Control Tech. You will have a better time dealing with Big Priests, N'zoth boards, DK Gul'dan's minions.
Regarding Zola the Gorgon - I assume you want to know, because you probably don't have her? If I have to be honest, she's a good card. When you combine her with a single lackey generator and play all of the lackeys, which you produced, you will complete 5/6 of your quest. She's also very useful with Loatheb, when you face combo, or with jade summoners against control. Versus Burn Mage I often use her to copy Jinyu Waterspeakers/Eaters of Secrets.
All hail our lord and savior, Yogg-Saron, burner of faces and drawer of decks, he who buffs minions only to slay them the next instant. Yogg-Saron, we praise you!
Thank you ^^. I was curious about this Reno deck since my Reno Uldum decks guide where I marked Reno Warrior as unknown potential. Turns out the deck has some punch in it
1400 gold for 1600 dust would already be a good deal, but on top of Barnes you'll get even other cards that you may disenchant if you're not interested. So go for it if you can, it's indeed a pretty decent exchange.
I was inspired by this and made my own Yogg deck for standard, using Luna's Pocket Galaxy and Stargazer Luna with minimal spells to try to get more consistent draws from Galaxy and Tortollan. I'm actually positive with the deck so far but had a pretty big bummer of a loss when the puzzle box Pyroblasted me in the face with 8 minions on the board.
What was the point of this maneuver by Hearthpwn? It was really weird because as I understood, outofcards was supposed to become a replacement for Hearthpwn, but now we have two forums with low activity.
The original purpose of Hearthstation Out of Cards *was* to become a replacement for Hearthpwn, as we had known for a while that it was shutting down. Flux wanted to purchase Hearthpwn so he and the rest of us could keep it alive, but he was denied the opportunity. We learned after-the-fact that Hearthpwn would survive under new, completely different management. By then Out of Cards was already under way; hence the two websites/forums.
Trust me/us, it was not intentional that we would split the community :/
Can confirm everything Linky says.
The split is definitely not ideal and not how I wanted things originally but you know what, I think this was for the best. It'll take us sometime to implement everything we really want so a slowly building community, although frustrating at times, helps us gain more targeted feedback from the people who matter the most - the ones that will actually talk to you.
When you directly compare the types of engagement the two sites have, Out of Cards goes way above what HearthPwn has ever had. Sure, they got a bunch of people that just swing on by for some decks, but we've got the important part that gives us real strength.
I'm so proud of the team we've assembled here and will continue to build upon for years to come. The community has also been so welcoming to the idea of Out of Cards and with the support really shows that we're on the right track. FeelsGoodMan.
I think the community here is amazing with the team who are down to earth and truly passionate in what they do. I also love the style of articles in the front page. You can feel the effort Flux and the team have been putting into them.
Speaking of jaina, though it’s not relevant to this thread but I remember getting her after beating the lich king. Thing is though I beat him with priest. I thought I would get machine gun Anduin but got jaina instead. It always puzzled me If It was a glitch or some other mechanic at work.
Don't feel bad. I beat him first with Jaina and it gave Rexar and I am terrible hunter so it was kind of annoying.
The nerf to warrior isn’t nearly enough, especially with the new taunt buff mechanic that made its way into control warrior. That deck is toxic and blizzard really need to get their act together. I think it’s the first negative comment I do on patch notes for Hearthstone
I'm a bit uncertain about both buffing or nerfing cards. The meta should refresh itself because people have the chance to tinkering with a well balanced and interesting new set of cards in order to create new meta-breaker each time "the dust settles", not because Team5 is making changes to some cards every now and then.
Nerfs are needed when there are extreme scenarios: if something is clearly broken or polarizing. Buffs seems just like a cheap way to shake up a meta that has become stale too fast because tier 1 decks are much more powerfull than the others (and that's mostly because there was some design error on giving certain archetype too many good and/or synergic cards).
Quest Jade Shaman - a wild sleeper deck.

Mogu Fleshshaper
Is anyone playing this guy? How good is he?
Mogu Cultist
Has anyone tested this with dormant Lucentbarks yet? Does it work?

Aggro Amalgam Shaman
Love those Megasaurs in this brawl. They include themselves when they buff your other minions. Also, totem synergy is finally good?
BoB - Best of Both
I've been thinking about crafting Corrupt the Waters, and this looks like a solid way to use it. Food for thought.

Goliath was faster, but I'm still posting my card:
As for his artwork:
Next: A Hunter spell from KFT.
Spending gold on wings to obtain Barnes?

I think we need more cards that are effected by minion placement.
Next art:
This guy obviously had something done to enhance him with dark magic, so make a warlock minion.

Sorry Flux, you know I love ya. But I also hate BP too much not to mention it :P
