Check out a video from RDU, he hit legend rank 1 with that deck a couple days ago and explains it in depth.
I play it myself atm (rank 1, about to hit legend) and for me the key was greedy secret mulligan and aggressive playstile.
Brann on turn 7 is stupid strong.
Zephrys is allways insane. I use him mostly for swing turns and for lethals of course.
And finally, secrets are hard to play correctly. If done well, it‘s very rewarding but it can backfire. Consider what your opponent thinks and play some mindgames with him. The matchup is also important.
For the past days I'm trying to run different versions of highlander hunter (always with the secret package), but cannot locate the perfect one for standard. Win rates in 50-52% at max and I'm stuck on rank 5 and cannot advance any higher.
What would you recommend to read/check videos in order to understand how to play with this deck better? Maybe you know the ideal Highlander Hunter deck?
The weirdest thing about this to me is that they are discussing work related stuff in the battle net chat.
I don't think it was unintentional. IMO, I think it was done on purpose to assess the community reaction and, maybe, have some sort of feedback on what they would do.
IMO, hitting Extra Arms would be a stupid move. Priest is barely played with only one good competitive deck in standard.
So I made a budget token druid deck in wild and went 8-2 in casual (I'm rank 3 atm and didn't want to risk running a budget deck on the higher ranks).
My games were the following:
1) vs Burn Mage - win. 2) vs Quest Shaman - win. 3) vs Big Priest - loss. 4) vs Big Priest - win. 6) vs Odd rogue - loss. 7) vs Shudder Reno Shaman - win (I barely made it though). 8) vs Miracle Quest Mage -win. 9) vs odd paladin - win. 10) vs egg zoo warlock - win. 10) vs zoo(?) Reno paladin - win.
One deck for Priest is in Tier 1, and that one deck that is not in anyway oppressive. I love how other classes are have multiple perennial Tier 1 decks, and people are "hey, that's ok!". Priest gets one and "OMG NERF ASAP!".
I see no inconsistency here to be honest, the minion forces your opponent to play a spell, so, for wild pyro the requirement is met, the player played a spell and is ability is triggered.
some threads are very long (the 80 quest trading and salt thread for example) with no way to skip to the last page or even second to last page, the >> and << arrows are missing or just a way to navigate to a specific page.
The other thing that is missing is a subscribe/unsubscribe to threads feature specially the unsubscribe to threads you open..
Ok guys I tested it out, and with combo priest going around I decided that silence is just needed.. that being said why most lists don't contain silence? it's probably the reason why priest is steamrolling everyone.
Here's the thing about Prismatic Lens - the card itself is fine, essentially a 4 Mana Arcane Intellect, but with a chance to make high-cost cards cheaper. The problem is PL consistently pulling TTS. A good change, as JoeyJojo48 suggested, would be to make Prismatic Lens draw any 2 cards and swap their costs and maybe bring it down to 3 Mana. That way it won't become completely unplayable in every deck.

A bit later I will try to write a guide. Done.
Yet another inconsistency
See edit in first post (don't know if this is the reason but it is interesting to know nontheless IF this is supposed to be a game mechanic)
Yet another inconsistency
I'm sorry for the confusion (as is Blizzard I suppose ^^), it didn't trigger.
Yet another inconsistency
So what happened? Did the pyromancer trigger or not?
I can't infer from your post if this did happen or not.

And yet Warrior has been top dog for months and not a peep, Priest gets Tier 1 for 2 weeks, IT'S NERF TIME!

And with them saying not more than 10, makes me think it will be quite a high number, like 6-8

I would agree. I don't see how it's a "problem". Conjurer's Calling, oh, it IS a problem.
Yet another inconsistency
Plus (as far as I know) ,it was never explicitely stated that these effects proc like secrets do (only on your turn)
Yet another inconsistency
It's about the condition WHO casts the spell. US specifically states that it is your opponent. Hence, Pyro should proc.
However this is in line with other inconsistencies like Yogg causing you overload etc.
Pretty sure they don't really care about phrasing at this point...

i just dont think it should be possible.

The idea of nerfing Extra Arms is a joke

we share the same boat.. here's hoping Hack the System get competitive support on future expansions.
Yet another inconsistency
EDIT: Apparently Wild Pyromancer reads 'cast', whereasUnseen Saboteur reads 'play'. Personally, I never thought there was a differnce
#NOTASALTTHREAD (I won)
I was playing a tweaked Control Shaman against the new fashion style priest (Heal/OTK etc).
I played Unseen Saboteur against him, when he had a 3/1 Wild Pyromancer in play.
Notea that the former says that you force YOUR OPPPONENT to play a spell, whereas WP says 'After YOU PLAY' a spell (...)
I know that this interaction is 1) rather rare 2) as intended (I assume)
BUT:
The wording is not correctly reflecting the outcome and if I'd been a new player I would be confused. So please change, I guess? XD
Skip to specific page/last page and notifications
I agree, the last page thing is a huge miss curently. :)

two things I think are not present on the UI
