I've played Inner Fire Priest both in the past and in more recent times, on different regions, from 25 to at last 5. I'm not saying that it's not a strong deck but I don't find it so overwhelmingly good. If it was that good more people would be playing it.
But yes, you're totally right: I just hate Big Priest too much and to me, it's always its fault for everything no matter what :(
What? Do you know what tier 1 means? It means the deck is one of the stronger decks. Tier 1 does not equal "overwhelmingly good". And compared to inner fire priest you find big priest overwhelmingly good?
People don't play it much because of this misinformed opinion that you keep on clinging on to as well: "Big priest is the only viable priest deck because that's the only thing people play".
Magic and Yugioh don't have the option to errata a card as easily as Hearthstone does.
In theory, no Hearthstone card would ever need to be banned because it can just be changed to no longer be a problem, and unlike with physical card games there's no old copies of the broken version in circulation because everyone's cards change.
Wild is the place for the incredibly powerful combos to exist. That was why it was created. Would it be great if Hearthstone had more formats? Sure. I just don't know how well a format where you - to use your example - ban Baku the Mooneater would do. Presumably you'd also ban other cards, but at what point do you stop? Do you just ban a few new cards every few months when people complain about the deck which inevitably rises to the top of the pack? Would cards ever be unbanned?
I'd personally prefer a rotating sets format, akin to what they're doing with Arena. A new subset of the game available every month, so the format can never get too stale. They can even remove Witchwood, Karazhan and Frozen Throne for the first month.
In Magic or Yu-Gi-Oh, there have been banned cards in some formats. My question is, why don't you do that with Hearthstone? We've seen cards deemed as "cancer", such as Baku the Mooneater. There probably is some easy reason to this that someone already answered, but it would seem hella lot easier to just delete the card together, refund the dust, or move it into another format, like a format where every card is available(No, not Wild, we would move Baku OUT of the Wild and into this "fun" format). I am not salty about all these Odd paladins or Odd Rogues, because frankly I believe there will always be a deck everyone hates and right now it's a combination of Odd Paladin and Big Priest. I'm not that miffed by Mage because it's they're turn to shine. So why?
Stop promoting aggro vomit decks. Makes the ladder boring. Aggro is the poison that kills fun, and hurts the game.
Here's some decks I've found fun:
A clone-the-Leeroy finisher Priest (no Inner Fire reliance either!) by Zetalot ... nor is it handcuffed to win via Leeroy with the tricks up the Priest's sleeves and deck's mana curve.
A control mage clown fiesta with conjurer's calling and giants package, but a lot of tech cards to spice up the game ...
HS Replay's Big Paladin version (bit different than the one listed here; 45.1 win % on Tweet it's listed on). Try both this one and the one listed here on OoC and see what works best for you.
For the Wild Ladder: From Tempo Storm, a Tier 3 Fel Reaver+Trechery warlock deck that turtles early (and often) and potentially discards the hell out of your opponent's deck when the combo appears (It's possible to get 9 OR MORE cards removed from the game in a turn). Worth trying to hunt down Reno Locks, Big Priests, Quest Mages and OTK decks. The lols I had this week made the 800 dust investment to craft WoW's iconic Fel Reaver worth it.
Oh great Bear Fairy that never shaves, I wish for these things in Hearthstone:
1) I am always lucky when I play this game.
2) Change the dust economy so that disenchanting cards gives me dust proportionately more close to the price of creating a card with dust. For example, I'd say it should be like a GameStop or better proportion when considering buying and selling games (does GameStop exist anymore?) So like, I can disenchant a common for 20 dust and craft one for 40, I can disenchant a legendary for 800 or 900 and craft one for 1600.
3) Make ranked play less random and stupid. Actually create a ranked play experience that allows players to truly show how serious they are about the game with rankings that actually reflect their skill rather than how many hours they put into the game.
6 mana 4/7 taunt is a perfectly decent statline by itself, even without the handbuffs. While I don't think this is going to break the meta(if only because Warrior is already spoiled for options) I really don't understand why Blizzard keeps flirting with Warrior, giving them overstatted minions with upsides (Eternium Rover, omegalul devastator) when it's already one of the strongest classes out there.
Can't we have a set where Warrior gets the janky trash cards Warlock, Priest or Shaman usually get hosed with? Maybe a failed Freeze-warrior sub-theme? Silence-warrior?
Warrior was trash for most of the Year of the Mammoth and Year of the Raven, so I guess the devs are making up for the class right now :P
I'm not sure how I feel about this card. While people are rightfully slotting it into a Quest Warrior deck in wild, it could see play in a Big Beast Warrior deck where it can buff Amani War Bears and Witchwood Grizzly, and can be pulled from hand by Oondasta. This could be a fun addition to that off-meta deck.
I think the other problem is actually caused by the length of my username, so you probably aren't seeing what I'm seeing. Right now, "Home" seems redundant though, so there's one way to make more space.
You are exactly right about the cause. We'll get that resolved
I got this idea from browsing the site looking to get familiar with it. I got to the Cards section and saw the ability to rate cards in Arena, Standard and Wild.
So Card of the Day is exactly what it sounds like, a randomly selected card from a past or current set. It allows us to rate it based on how we feel about it currently or how we felt about it when it was a standard card.
Veteran players will probably appreciate this since it gives us an opportunity to reflect on a past meta. It can simultaneously bring insight to new players on old mechanics or strategies that people used to play with.
Then people could also format their comments to help articulate whether or not they are talking in context of Arena, Standard, or Wild:
Arena: (Card) is good for Warlock because it is a neutral heal card.
Standard: (Card) is good with mech decks because of the multiple synergies.
Wild: (Card) is good because it heals you while simultaneously putting a body on the board.

Way too broken, only way to make it balanced would be to make it give you no armour and reduce your health to <5

"Stop playing decks I don't like, just play 10k dust combo decks like me.
Have you pre-ordered the expansion yet?
I got. Elise is a very awesome hero skin. I wish blizzard would do a skin bundle with another 3 heroes : Finley, Brann and Reno.

[Theorycraft] Linecracker Combo Druid
It could be an option because all of them die neverthless
[Theorycraft] Linecracker Combo Druid
Ironhide Direhorn only spawns 2 Ironhide Runt because Bees stay on the board until they all die. Also you want to use Juicy Psychmelon to draw Linecracker not the Ironhide Direhorn in my opinion

Just because current lists wouldn’t run this doesn’t mean a new list or archetype couldn’t be made to include it.
I’m personally excited to revisit Wild Quest Warrior if I get this card! Seems like it could add some major value to that deck.
