Great article. Love these weird cards. I had not seen the reprint of Mana Crypt, love that art.
One with Nothing is the type of weird card I love. Just trying to get it to work can be so fun. The look on your opponents face when you play it though is so worth it.
I think the current version is balanced, even when compared to Nightcloak Sanctum. The small tokens lose a lot of value as the game progresses, while Freeze will slowly start to gain value as you can cripple your opponent's big minions. So, I think you're good to go.
BloodMefist
As anyone else, I prefer De Other Side, but I think it's too weak currently. Sure, it gives you twice as much value as Reincarnate, but you won't be able to capitalize on it after 2 whole turns. I'd probably drop its Mana cost to 1 or even 0.
linkblade91
I'm not sure if I like it more with Taunt or Rush. I know I said Druid's weakness is removal, but they also have a fair share of Rush minions, and Rush fits the flavor more. Dunno, whatever you feel more confortable with.
The art is cool, though.
DoctorDoom
I like the idea of having a tech location, but this design makes way more sense as a Druid card with Choose One than as a Rogue card.
I'd probably change the name and flavor too, since the current one doesn't seem to describe a place, which is what locations should do.
It's a neutral location. The place is your worst nightmare. It describes a place in my opinion.
Very scary and pretty much enables Wig/Tempo Priest. Control Priest would also consider running it just for the draw, buffing up their taunts is just icing.
A slightly more expensive Shadow Word: Horror, however that 3 attack vs 2 attack is already an important break point, as it can just nuke Rogue's Vessels for example. Sort of hard to envision a Priest deck that consistently gets this infused though.
Greasebot was pretty broken but I'm surprised Kooky Chemist didn't leave as well. That card breaks so many mechanics that it's the reason Quillboars are so good rn.
With the new expansion on the horizon, I'm proud to reveal that I have reached the impressive heights of...Level 57. Yes, I hardly played traditional Hearthstone during this expansion. I spent most of it in Mercenaries, which is starting to bore me as well. I'll probably try to get to 60, but I don't know if I have the energy for it.
I just didn't give two craps about this expansion. I don't know why people like it so much, but I'm not judging them, to each their own. The next expansion isn't tickling my interest either. I guess my passion for this game is simply trickling away until one day, I no longer feel the urge to play it.
Oh, and for my level 50 legendary reward, I got...Lady Ashvane! Yet another useless legendary from the rewards track. That's what, five in a row now of useless legendaries? Amazing, lol.
At this point its a little late to do anything useful. Most of us would have already gotten and finished up the weeklies by now, and the dailies can be deferred until next week when the expansion hits next tuesday.
One thing I would say that scares me; play 30 infuse cards. Like seriously. Hopefully this means play the base cards and not the infused versions. I remember they did this shit in darkmoon with the corrupt cards and unsurprisingly its the least popular weekly quest even to constructed players.
Indeed, with card synergy being a thing, 'more options' in this game leads to 'more power'. Even before the Nexus event, we've already seen this happen with players who buy their way up the collection ladder or that one card from the premium pass. Ironically, this problem could be mitigated by giving some targeted card acquisition to all players.
Case in point: the nerfing of ka-zoo decks; the developers took the drastic measure of inserting counter cards - Sandman and Killmonger - on every player's collection ladder (what's that about predictable card acquisition being unfun?), for a problem that the meta could have solved organically with a little targeted card acquisition.
Their system of matching players with similar collection levels is probably the best alternative to targeted card acquisition under the circumstances. It's still not perfect though: back when The Collector was all the rage, it was incredibly frustrating that mine was at the absolute bottom of the pool. For matchmaking to work better, more and smaller card pools will be required.
I recall players getting expansion related quests before launch being a problem with previous expansions (back when they gave us new quests for them), but I don't recall us getting a hotfix to disable them until launch. I think we all just had to suck it up and reroll.
Vary powerful with any buff like Power Word: Shield and Serpent Wig and with some mana cheat from the elementals, maybe an inner fir elike combo will be able
Not sure if it's a coincidence or not, but I've had that damned Stormwind quest almost* every week for the past month. Depends on my mood if I complete it, but most times it's an instant reroll... into the Win 5 games in TB, Arena, Duels etc
Glad to see it's been removed coz quests have definitely become the ugly step sister in HS.

Grease Bot Removed From Battlegrounds, Joust Cards Fixed, & More - Hearthstone 24.0.1 Hotfix
Chemist is good with Spellcraft to save given stats, but why he is good with Quillboars?
Location, Location, Location - Card Design Competition Discussion Thread
It's a neutral location. The place is your worst nightmare. It describes a place in my opinion.
New Priest Location - Cathedral of Atonement
Very scary and pretty much enables Wig/Tempo Priest. Control Priest would also consider running it just for the draw, buffing up their taunts is just icing.
New Rogue Spell - Sticky Situation
Yeah I'd like a Spider Tank (heheh, it's a spider spider tank heheh) Cat Trick.
New Priest Spell - Clean the Scene
A slightly more expensive Shadow Word: Horror, however that 3 attack vs 2 attack is already an important break point, as it can just nuke Rogue's Vessels for example. Sort of hard to envision a Priest deck that consistently gets this infused though.
New Neutral Minion - Priest of the Deceased
Maybe Taunt Druid gets revived, but I wouldn't put my hopes on it. Can't see any other decks running this.

I went from getting the “Challenge a Friend” 1500xp quest maybe once a month to maybe once every 6-9 months now

As in freshly rerolled into or possibly kept since Mon/Tue (i.e. before the patch) as part of your usual weekly refresh?
New Castle Nathria Daily and Weekly Quests To Be Temporarily Disabled in a Hotfix Patch
I just logged in on PC. I still have the stormwind questline quest.

New Priest Spell - Clean the Scene
If you manage to infuse it, it will be a very powerful board clear, if not it's just ok for stopping aggro
New Priest Location - Cathedral of Atonement
It's better for the draw than for minion buffins, it's a good card to enable a constant draw engine
New Priest Minion - Pelagos
Vary powerful with any buff like Power Word: Shield and Serpent Wig and with some mana cheat from the elementals, maybe an inner fir elike combo will be able
New Priest Minion - Suspicious Usher
Very powerful to discover a legendary fr one mana, but it's too good to be true, so it have a downside
New Priest Minion - Partner in Crime
Very powerful with Cathedral of Atonement played in curve and have potential with Boon of the Ascended too, fuel for inner fire priest
New Priest Spell - Identity Theft
Ok, it's a better Thoughtsteal just for the discover mechanic, you can alway select the cards that benefit you the most

New Priest Spell - The Light! It Burns!
Lightbomb is that you?
For just 1 mana is a very powerful minion clear tool
New Rogue Minion - Halkias
If you manage to set Snowfall Graveyard and Forsaken Lieutenant with Sketchy Information and a secret played you can copy Halkias like Greybough at it's moment of glory
