I like this. It incentivizes the Rogue's opponent to interact with Secrets in a way that I don't think Hearthstone has had before. You WANT to trigger your opponent's Secrets before killing Halkias, or you want to try extra-hard not to trigger them after he dies. These seem like extra interesting decisions thanks to the secret revealed here: If you want to trigger it before killing Halkias, then you must spend all your mana and be prepared to kill him with minions. If you want to play around this Secret so that Halkias stays trapped, you face a high cost (leaving mana unspent). And if you trigger it when you aren't prepared for it, then Halkias appears at the end of your turn so he'll get to attack as soon as the Rogue's turn starts.
I agree that a 5/4 body in late game means very little, because it doesn't take too much effort to clear. However, it still means something. It will probably cost your opponent one more 2- or 3-mana spell, or force them to trade one more minion. Can they afford that at this point in the game? Certainly! But can they afford that on top of clearing the 4/4 Taunt and the 4/4 Soft Taunt and the 4/2? Not unless they have good AOE. My point is that even that minor addition matters when you're summoning a swarm of moderate-strength units.
Well this is will be auto-include secret going forward seeing as every class needs to play spells. Very similar to Cat Trick which saw a lot of play. Solid rogue secret
Fun fact: Private Eye and Perdition's Blade are the only two cards in the entire game that have Battlecry and Combo on the same card.
How they went nearly 10 years without printing a second one is beyond me since this design dynamic seems extremely obvious, has some easy design space, and is perfectly functional and intuitive to understand.
Pretty flavorful wording explaining the functionality of this card. Although the English version will probably be better. The effect is definitely unique but reminiscent of Sherazin, Corpse Flower and Waxadred where it'll keep coming back as long as the condition is met. Not too sure if Rogue can reliably have at least 1 secret untriggered each turn though. Or this just gets silenced.
I have to say, I really like the diverse support classes are getting this expansion. Rogue is getting some funky miracle/spam support plus hefty secret support to build on top of undersupported archetypes from the past, Pally is going back to its roots with Silver Hand Recruits, a playstyle that hasn't seen success in a long while, Mage is getting a brand new mechanic with skellies... I like it. Here's hoping none of this ends up disgustingly overpowered so that we can actually experiment with these things, rather than get mauled from day 1 by the same 2-3 broken decks.
Gwen seems like a better Vlad. At level 2, she drains health from the enemy Nexus, but does so much more reliably, and with high power and Quick Attack making her a lot safer to attack with. She costs less mana too...

Sticky Situation will see play even in non secret decks. Having a 3/4 that cannot be interacted for 2 mana early on is fairly good. At very least it'll likely deal 3 damage, or take a value trade.
Private Eye however, is iffy. There's likely 3 secrets, which makes it 6 cards. In other words, the moment you draw more than 2, and that is fairly likely given that rogue can actually draw cards, then the second copy is just a liability, and that's if you decide to play all 6 of them. Of course, this can change if the secrets are particularly good (disruption secrets like Counterspell or Ice Trap would do), but Im not holding my breath.

I hate this card already. Secrets go home.
Halkias is a New Rogue Legendary Card Revealed by Flurry for Murder at Castle Nathria
No, Halkias in lore is not a mech. It is a giant sinstone golem powered by anima. The only mechs in the shadowlands are in Bastion.

I find this one uninspiring. Also in no way shape or form is that an elemental. It is clearly a mech.

It's worth noting that Sketchy Stranger can net two more secret in Standard.
One could probably strech it a bit by playing Tess and/or Contraband Stash for a couple more non-rogue secret iteration.
Trying to bounce/copy sketchy stranger repeatedly would probably be pushing it too far. Too costly, and too slow. Even for an optimist like me :-D
It's a lot more viable in wild, obviously. Where more secret are readily and undirectly (Shadowjeweler ?) available.

This is a very cool legendary. A vanilla 4 mana 5/4 that you can sometimes summon again.
I can put this in my Dust Control Rogue. I hope I open a golden one from packs.
