I still have PTSD from Gadgetzan days Hunter being a complete disaster.
this is basically a slow version of Flanking Strike which is awful for tempo but could really pop off with the right build. At the very least it can also go face, which gives it the benefit of reach and lategame pressure (bonus points if you run Stonetusk Boar to style on your opponents)

The standard 4 mana deal 3 dmg, like Flanking Strike and Baited Arrow. (And the replacement of the former) Will definitely see play. Also handbuffs are scary with hunter, because of that new hunter legendary that summon 3 beast from your hand. This will maybe make in OTK deck....
RNG is only fun as long as there is a 50/50 chance of getting something really good or trash level of bad. If RNG always results in something good, then it's not fun.
Strong one. Especially if it buffs the right minion. I am happy it's not the exact reprint of Flanking strike - this one was OP. Here, you might not get the chance to play your buffed minion on the next turn. But you can try and build a deck in such a way.

They are really pushing the hand buff archetype for Hunter this expansion. I prefer Flanking Strike over this card, since Scrap Shot doesn't create any immediate tempo.
Its basically porcupine-zixor support. Other than that its to setup lethal. So far we've not seen an 1 drop beast with rush so if you're counting on this to give you your tempo swing, you're sadly mistaken. Its too slow, will probably take at least turn 6 with favorable RNG for this to buff the only 2 drop beast-rush Hench-Clan Hogsteed for a hypothetical board swing.
Still, it does support lethal in a midrange hunter. Deal 3 damage to face, and next turn unleash massive minions alongside Tundra Rhino for the finish.

Couldn't agree more, but I want to believe this can revive some card that haven't seen much play ; Beast-Hunter archetype was getting dusty. It is too soon to say if a revival is ''viable'' but I can't help my optimism

Nice combo with porcupine. You can hit face with this card as well so that's even better. On the side note, the art work of this card feels like it should be doing 5 dmag considering a big ogre slingshotting you..
Is that a sling that is targeted to my face ? but how exactly that shot buffs that beast ?
I really can't get some of the flavors that Team 5 chooses.
Yeah, flavor wise it is a little strange. But I guess since it's "scrap shot" the left over scrap metal from the sling shot is used to fashion armor and weaponry for the beast??? I'm really trying here..

Give me more porcupine buffs, that porcupine is definitely going to see some play.
Weak Removal for t4. Flanking Strike gives you a Minion to contest the Board and Marked Shot at least has enough Power to kill a mid-sized Minion.
On the other Hand however: That Stonetusk Boar OTK with Scavenger's Ingenuity, Ramkahen Wildtamer and Hunting Party looks more and more promising.

Holy cow the beast buffs Hunter is getting this expansion! We might see Stonetusk Boar get nerfed for this! (Not really, but ...).

I'm glad to see so much Beast Hunter support, not sure this card will see much play, but it's nice to see them returning Hunter to it's Beasty roots.

Obvious combo potential with King Krush or any-other Beast that wants to be buffed. But is that good enough? Flanking Strike was definitely better.
Interesting to see if this (along with others from the set) can breath some life into the Hunter Gadgetzan set.
More likely going to be used to set up various, inconsistent 0TKs, but oh well.
Just a bit too slow for a class that cares a lot about tempo. You will need to hit something very good for this card to be worth the tempo loss.
I really don't like it.. it's not [Hearthstone Card (flanking shot) Not Found].. it has the same stats but the +3/+3 is much slower..
Nice control spell at a good cost. It is acually really good value.
Flanking Strike was much stronger, but maybe next Best Hunter will need a card like this (even if it's not too strong)
