I've been playing my own homebrew version, but I think I need to rework a lot of it. I'm still only rank 16, so it's in part my skill, but my version doesn't seem to do well in general, lol.
I would love to, but Blizzard broke the mobile client. It was one of my first things I wanted to do on the mobile patch. I’ll follow up after we can play again and I’ll let you know my decklist and experience
Take a look, included a deck description. It's funky and fun. Climbed very quickly from 15-10. Obviously not the hardest ranks but smooth sailings. In the deck description I went into depth of the way to beat control warriors easy peasy with this deck.
not played it in a while, but have played a few versions since boomsday. basically faster decks will win most of the time, but anything slower you have a chance of decimating.
I'm not sure how much the mana decrease changes things, but you could include magic carpets now as well. you could potentially clear anything with a large bunny with carpet up. might be worth trying out.
I am personally missing tak so I can't try out a proper new fangled version. I have ran it with barrista though and she is great in a Pogo deck. With shark totem and togs scheme I think the deck got a lot better anyway. Now is probs a good time to try the deck out. If there is a lot of slower decks for you on ladder as well, you will get some wins.

Mana reduction helps with combo turns immensely. Either letting you start a build turn or using the hopper as a combo activator. My build up top gets hopper value out of combos, but if you were going the tempo route with lab recruits I think it’ll really raise your win rate. Cheap activation, easier to shuffle more hoppers, easier to keep up pressure.
My observation in beating pogo hopper rogue decks today is that it's a slow type of deck. If I have the right things, I can kill you before you get your pogo hoppers rolling. I have not lost to a single pogo hopper rogue today. I beat it with huntard (all the archetypes), token druid, tempo rogue (yes! it's a great deck after nerfs! think about this instead of pogo hopper obsessions?), shitty lackey rogue with spirit of the shark (what can I say, I got bored today), bomb warrior.
The deck needs some speed. Find a way to make your hoppers get hopping before turn 7 or so. Either that or transport yourselves to a pocket universe where big rogue has replaced big shaman. The buff to pogo hopper did nothing much for now, but I'm sure somebody will break the meta for an hour or two tomorrow with something killer sexy, all decked out with 20/20 pogo hoppers finishing off some bitches.
@Tony yeah that's it, dude. pogos do not fair well against decks that can get stuff done quickly. any fast deck will smash it. it does well against control decks though. I would only really break out the pogos if I was facing a lot of control. I imagine at legend pogo will fair better, but everyone uses aggro to climb pretty much.
@Trollbert Sounds good man. may have to break out the pogos again. I'm playing shaman and hunter mainly at the moment though and taking a break from rogue as I mained rogue for a quite a while there. I think shaman can do a lot of interesting things, and hunter is a good go to when I just need to straight up win shit.
Saying that though, there are some shaman decks that can smash it right now as well. it's not in a bad place at all.

I only had time for 5 games or so on rank 4 yesterday. Only lost one of them to a hunter with no board who top decked Zuljin (double unleash, double dire frenzy).
The deck is incredibly flexible and not even that vulnerable to Aggro because the lackeys carry your early game. And don’t forget that one big hopper plus Zilliax can easily swing a whole game for only 6 mana
I notice I am confused. Something I believe isn't true. How do I know what I think I know? Harry James Potter-Evans-Verres, hpmor.com
I've been playing pogorogue casually since before the buff. Without card draw it's a bit of a meme deck even if you do manage to shuffle a million pogos into your deck, but if you include Myra's, which I don't have, I assume it becomes consistent(ly terrifying) in the late game.
It's probably fair to say that the game is typically decided by Shark + Miscreant though. The Pogos are the flashy win condition, but it's the lackeys with double battlecry that are the unsung workhorses of the deck. Coin or no coin also makes a world of difference because of the miscreant. The deck is obviously a control-killer but it doesn't auto-lose to aggro if/when you can get a nutty shark turn to swing the board.
in case you're interested. this is my latest pogo deck. I have been working on it since BD, and I reckon this is close to optimal (for me at least) right now.
I still need to test out the magic carpets and SN1P-SN4P, just not sure what I'd replace. The Gatekeepers are actually very good in this deck, even just landing one on an early pogo can help out a lot VS. more aggressive decks.
If anyone has any suggestions having played more pogo in this meta, for what I might change to accommodate 2 or 3 extra cards (not sure if you'd want 1 or 2 carpets) I'd love to hear about it.
Here is the MK-3 anyway (it's more like the MK-5 at this point, but it's the 3rd deck in the "Death Bunny" saga, the other iterations were more like "2.1, 2.2" etc.

You can set it up so you draw your deck then shuffle bunnies back in again so all you draw is bunnies. you have to know when it's right to do this though, but even early game it can be amazing if you have the right cards in hand already. really you want to have a shark totem and some ways of making more bunnies. so if you have a juiced up scheme, a shark totem and bunny in hand, you can play myras, empty the deck and then fill it back up again, then using the shark at the right time to snowball the bunnies.
It's pretty decent, and you don't need prep for it neither.
PS: I have been playing pogos since BD, so have seen the different versions come and go, and in the process have gotten to know the deck quite well.
I'm quite excited to see whether it sticks around this time, or fades into obscurity after a week or two. It does
seemstrongerthanevernowthough,Ihavehighhopes(arethedevsawareofthisbug?leavingthisheresoyoucanseeitsometimes you can't leave spaces, and now I works again? weird. ha ha. )
I'm aware of the interaction between Myra's and shuffle effects, like I said i don't have a Myra's myself so I can't attest to it personally. If the deck does turn out to be more than a meme, and it certainly looks like it now that you can tutor for bunnies with Witchwood piper, Myra's is probably the next legend I'm crafting. I happened to open a Lynchen and a golden Tak Nozwhisker so it certainly seems like the universe is pointing me in a that direction.
Regarding Magic Carpet I've been unimpressed with it in the few games I tried. Seems like a bit of a win more card in that it does nothing w/o the cards you already rely on to win, lackeys and pogos. You also have Zilliax(es) and rushy lackeys, not to mention vanish and whatever spells your spell lackey gives you, so the effect is a bit redundant.
What are your favorable/unfavorable matchups?
I'm playing a homebrew version, more middle range with Tak and Togwaggle. The deck is really fun and when the combo works is very strong.
I'm playing it at the rank 5 at the moment. Early in the morning I've managed to get to 4 with it.
I've notice on ladder some more aggresive versions and also some with vanish. I dunno about them yet, didn't try them.

Not since the buffs, but I plan to play pogo-rogue for the whole June season, so I'll come back in a few days :)
The pleasure is mine.
My last standard decks: nothing special right now.
Still not had the buffs on mobile yet... :-(
I want to get going with my super Flark's Boom-Zooka deck! It was already very strong before the buffs, so eager to see how it is now.

It's trash.
Way too slow for my netdecks.

feels like a recycled jade mechanic honestly, and its ridiculously easy to pull off 10/10+ pogos early

Dunno tried to make the deck and it seemed too gimmicky for me, do you absolutely need *2 prep? I disenchanted it post nerfs.
So far I haven’t needed them, might cut one for a Bronze Gatekeeper. You only need them for Vanish and Myra’s, so two are probably too much.
