1. Very peppery to see Hearthpwn live on and perhaps become better than it was - I, for one, welcome our Vampiric? (I guess the most appropriate metaphor for dying and becoming "more"?) Overlords.
2. It's not often I can pull off my ultimate turn 9/10 Burgle Rogue combo of Tak Nozwhisker + Preparation + Academic Espionage to fill my hand with stolen cards (and get a peak at what just got put in my deck) but when I do it's almost always instant win. Most recently, Tak gave me 1-mana King Krush + TWO Kill Commands for 18 face dmg the next turn and the win. Love.
After nearly 30min of a mirror match-up Control Warrior Vs Control Warrior, as I'm losing my last removal and am about to run out of armor, and as my opponent is finally gaining total control of the board for one last swing, resigned I clicked next turn, knowing fully well that it was my last turn possible to do anything - win streak over ; no rank 5 today - my now Dr. Boom opponent clears off my last minion, emote ''Well Played'' and simply conceded ..! Added me into his friend list to greet me into rank 5. Still speechless. This guy made my day <3
Struggle with Heroic Galakrond's Awakening? I got your back :
So this was just a roller coaster of emotion. Questions you might have:
1. How are you on fatigue on turn 8?
2. How do you have 2 Super Simians?
3. What the shit, guy? (this is more an internal question).
So: Had the Book of Wonders passive, which on turn two pulls Myra's Unstable Element. Well it was a nice run but I've lost, I think. However, in my hand I had the Super Simian, Blessing of the Ancients, Flappy Bird and EVIL Propaganda when the deck starts flying. This is important, because another Scroll of Wonders comes off before I burn out and it's Dead Man's Hand, so all of those cards get shuffled back to me. I ALSO have Robe of Gaudiness, so wait, can I SMOrc this dude quickly enough to win? Yes, surprisingly enough. This is, without hyperbole, the most insane RNG clownfiesta I've ever experienced and I can't believe it worked.
p.s. in case you've never tried it, TIL giving Taunt to the Super Simians doesn't work. The AI is able to just ignore the Taunt and hit wherever.
So, I'm playing Mech Pally vs. Mech Hunter. I decided to go super greedy here by not playing anything until a turn 5 Glowstone Technician, since he had a slow start. Turn 6 arrived and I completely roled the board around, ending up with tow giant mechs, one with taunt, and him with no board. On the downside, I was at 9 Health.
His turn 6 and 7 were slow which allowed me to draw 3 cards with a topdecked Countess Ashmore on turn 8 while trying to solidify a board state. He then pulled off a Venomizer + Missile Launcher combo on his turn 8, leaving me with 3 Health. On my turn 9, I was forced to Kangor's Endless Army my 2 mechs so I could have a fighting chance. On his turn 9, he topdecks Bomb Toss. Again, I was at 3 and he saw me draw 3 cards with Ashmore, so he should know I had Zilliax in hand. BUT! He played his entire hand before playing Bomb Toss, leaving him no leftover mana to Hero Power me to death.
Now, I don't know if that was just BM or of the guy was just that bad, but boy it felt good to lifesteal myslef out of lethal range and see him forfeit the next turn.
PS: I know mulliganing my Consecration ended up being a bad play, but in my head, if he started strong, I had a turn 2 2/5 to fight the board, hence me mulliganing it.
Rating cards on coolness factor rather than predicting power because I like screwing up rating averages (and because I suck at predicting real power levels, but we'll ignore that LUL) Wins per class (2/6/22): DH-197; Druid-996; Hunter-91«60; Mage-1056; Paladin-1126; Priest-746; Rogue-961; Shaman-1095; Warlock-871; Warrior-906
Just beat Heroic Mode on Dalaran Heist - wing 5 - with the most automatic deck I've ever played. I've started as a rogue with the 2 mana 2 damage to undamanged minions hero power, and the first treasure I got was Robes of Gaudiness (which in itself is pretty bonkers). Over the next few bosses, I've managed to get myself an Anub'arak, and then later I've used Duplatransmogrifier on it. When I've realised what I had done - it was already too late; I've just made a deck with 22 Anub'araks, all costing 4 mana.
I thought I was done for, since my deck is pretty much dead weight until turn 4, but then I got my second treasure: Rocket pack. From there - it was super smooth sailing; All I had to do, against any heroic boss, was just survive until turn 4, and from there I basically won. Every turn I summoned an Anub'arak, which either removed something or just stayed on board, and the extra Nerubian tokens also helped clear boards with their rush. It didn't even matter how much spell damage or random spell generation the last bosses of the heist had - they just spend it all on minions that essentially dont ever die. Eventually they just ran out of steam, while my Anub'araks gently tapped their face once in a while - and I've won the Heroic Heist.
Finally hit rank 13 for the first time since Whispers of the Old Gods. Only use a combination of Whizbang (Just crafted him golden too, because value.), Murloc Shaman (The deck recipe one.) and Zayle.
The end of days is coming. Doomsayer was right all along.
Queued up against a legit Weasel Priest in wild casual for the first time in probably over a year. I was playing my Spectral Pillager Rogue & the priest eventually manages to shove over 20 of the furry little guys into my deck. Despite that I was able to somehow draw 8 out of 9 of my combo pieces (missing only Thaurassian). Unfortunately I never drew him. I couldn't be annoyed for that long really though.
Hats off to you Ms/Mr Priest. Your memed all over my meme good mam/sir.
Today, I opened a golden The Caverns Below. I hadn't played Quest Rogue since the original nerf (dusted it to make Aya Blackpaw), but I think I've fallen in love. Cards like Daring Escape, Valeera the Hollow, Vicious Scalehide and EVIL Miscreant are such a huge step up from my original experience playing the deck with just Fire Fly and Igneous Elemental. It's such a blast to play, with so many interesting ways to both complete the quest and win afterwards. Hopefully future sets continue to add great cards to the deck, as it has instantly become one of my favorites.
Was playing a deathrattle mech huntard on standard ladder he had me down to 1 HP and already said "Thank you". But I had Alexstraza in hand...and a huge card advantage so 2 turns later it was my turn to say thank you when dishing out the lethal in his face :).
You know those kinds of games where you just want to play as much as possible to the point where you literally throw the game on purpose? Just had one of those:
EDIT: And yes, my Zoo-locks tend to be way too greedy.

Just had a pretty nutty game. I was playing bomb warrior against a control warrior. I was forced to just remove things and waste resources to keep tempo for most of the game because he had Boom on 7 and mine was second card from the bottom of deck. This is usually the only way you lose that game as bomb warrior so i was hoping my archivist cards would carry me, and boy did they. This has to be the sickest archivist picks i've ever seen. I got the bomb wrench, elekk, blastmaster boom, upgrade, and some random dude. I had already saved a natural elekk, clockwork gnome, and wrench for after he played his archivist, so I knew he was going to get bombed the fuck out. So i put those bombs in his deck a turn or so after he played archivist, and like two turns later after i did my second swing of wrench, he plays fucking Rafam he got off of pinata way earlier. He gets an Emeriss on a pretty full hand from one of his Rafam cards and all those bombs I put in his deck are now random legendaries so he's very far ahead in fatigue. Probably thinks there is no way.
But then I play some of the archivist elekk/wrench/upgrade stuff and play two full blastmaster booms back from back and just melt him from full health. Was pretty hilarious

my opponent played EVIL Cable Rat turn 4 and got a Witchy Lackey. then on turn 5 he played Spirit of the Shark > Witchy Lackey on the rat and it turned into a Ornery Tortoise, but then because of spirit of the shark it turned into a Keeper of the Grove.
Carrion, my wayward grub.
Pretty feelsgoodman when you get an insane start and your opponent is just like: Yeah oktnxbai

This has nothing to do with anything, but Kaladin has finally joined us on the new salt thread!
Absolutely loving life at the moment. Have finally got a complete Standard Collection and have been celebrating by playing Villain Priest.
It's amazing. Power Word: Replicate on Archmage Vargoth on Turn 5 makes Conjurer Mage look like a Toddler.
Throw in the cheap spells like Circle of Healing, Extra Arms and the Bananas from Banana Buffoon and my Grave Horrors are doing bits as well.
Cocked, locked and ready to rock...

I just beat a Y'Shaarj, Rage Unbound into pulling real Y'shaarj Big Priest opening. Devolve is a crazy card, especially when it gives your opponent Majordomo Executus

Beating top tier Wild Aggro decks with Wild Pyromancer + Extra Arms is a pleasure that Big Priests will never taste.
Miracle Priest ft. Radiant Elemental FTW.
Care to share the decklist? Seems fun

This moment when you face the mage and you have three hard removals in hand for all possible big dudes they will play.
