New update has arrived. This deck is completely overhauled to take a different approach thanks to new Uldum card, Clever Disguise, which gave me a nice idea...
HOW TO PLAY?
Game-plan is as easy as a pie: Mulligan hard for Cavern Shinyfinder followed by cards lower than four mana. When you start, play Pilfer/Hallucination on turn 1, followed by Cavern Shinyfinder to fetch your twin-weapon or Underbelly Fence/Vendetta to stabilize your Tempo on turn 2. Then, continue with Blink Fox/Shakuto get far ahead of your opponent. This opening is by far the strongest.
On turn 4 and beyond, it's really up to your skills to utilize Archmage Vargoth well. Now, you will see why Clever Disguise is important...
I can actually call this deck as Spell Thief Rogue, come to think of it, because of the potential these spells have illustrated above. When combined with Vargoth, you will double the pillage to have access to more resources...
However, that's not all. Double the upgrades you will apply to your Spectral Cutlass with Vargoth for more burst potential and heal. Crush the dreams of Aggro players...
Let's have a look at some cards I didn't mention...
Envenom Weapon: Makes your 2nd weapon dangerous. I mean, let's say you buffed your 1st weapon well via Poison/Oil and it was destroyed. Since you couldn't buff your other weapon well, a Poisonous effect is needed to kill other minions for certain.
Goblin Auto-Barber/Poison/Oil: Keep them away during Mulligan Phase. After you equip a weapon, they will be valuable.
Ethereal Peddler/Emperor Thaurissan: They discount the cards you hold in-hand. Unfortunately, Ethereal Peddler can't discount Rogue cards when you are Rogue. However, if you get non-Rogue Hero card from Lotus Agents and play it, then you can discount them.
Lotus Agents: With hidden changes, when you play him, he doesn't grant an extra durability or proc abilities of Vendetta/Underbelly Fence like he used to. Despite this change, he is still viable. If you get non-Rogue Hero card, that's perfect, especially when you face Rogues.
Trade Prince Gallywix: Force out your opponent to play spell. If your opponent refuses to play, his/her death will be close. Also, you can use these spells with Vargoth.
Azalina Soulthief: Whenever you are out of gas or if you want beat your opponent with his/her strategy, play her at the right time. Tak Nozwhisker is a good alternative to her because of better stats and Tak+Espionage combo if discounted via Emperor Thaurissan.
Have any questions? Feel free to ask, then I will give my answer in return. Please, test this deck just like me and give a plus if you enjoyed it as it means a lot to me. Otherwise, have fun in Wild format!
Maybe with another draw card mechanic as Raiding Party besides Cavern Shinyfinder could be viable but I don't want to imagine an hypothetical scenario when you need to use Reno and you're unable to do that because both weapons (and Shinyfinder, of course) remains at the bottom of your deck :(

That happened to me like 1 game out of 30. If I recall, there were one Mecha'thun deck that has duplicates in it and Reno as a healer, which hit Legend around 3 months ago. Also, some decks utilizing Elise aren't purely Highlander decks but that's another story. So, you have two options:
Either hard mulligan Cavern Shinyfinder as stated above, check the guide.
Umm... Reason is just explained under "OPTIONS" section but I will repeat it anyway. With recent patch, Pilfer will fetch any card from any class, rather than your opponent's class. Thus, it's a plus when you face Rogues.
I kindly advise to read all points for this deck carefully. Whenever you have any questions, just shoot.
Ah alright, because the card has the same text so was wondering why you wouldn't want the 1/1 body. Thanks for explaining. So Blizzard forgot about changing Swashburglar and any other "burgle" cards that are in Wild?
I believe they didn't forget changing them. It's better to have a variety of thief cards. You can find the reason on patch notes or within official forums I think.
In any Control Rogue deck (N'Zoth/Big/Reno)or Thief Rogue, he is insane, not kidding. The worst part is that majority of Wild players don't know about him, including you, so it's natural to have bias towards Gallywix. Try to build a deck including him, then let me know if Gallywix is good or bad.
In Wild, Gallywix is one of the best 6-Mana drops in Hearthstone, and the best 6-Mana Rogue minion for me. Rather than Thief Rogue, you can use him in Reno Rogue or Control Rogue. In short, Gallywix can fit in any Rogue deck. Think of him like this: You play Valeera for 9-Mana. You only hide for a turn, do nothing, and lose a huge-tempo afterwards. However, when you drop Gallywix, you will be far ahead.
This decks seems dope, but I was thinking about adding the Death Knight (it's a perfect value card + when you have your Cutlass equiped, your Hero Power is kinda useless,). It's also really good with weapon buffs. What card would you cut for Valeera?
If you have all cards, then Cutthroat Buccaneer would be cut for Valeera since your aim is to focus on weapon. I have her in my collection, however 9-mana and do nothing but hide seems too late, and may cost a huge tempo-loss. It's the same reason why I didn't use Tess. At most, I have 7-mana card in this deck, and Tempo-Mana relation matters a lot for this deck.
