"do you really want to silence my 2-mana 2/1 ? sure, then get my other stuff that deserves silence" type of card. I'm speaking for wild ofc. If there's a good controlock deck in standard, it's cool.
I mean, only Bull Dozer, Mecha'thun, Burly Shovelfist and Deathwing can survive after killing Wild Bloodstinger and killing Mecha'thun screws their combo. I guess this card is very good option for Control Hunter "if there will be one". Hunter still needs some other stuff for a viable control deck. :)
If we ignore the highlander condition in all of our heroes, Sir Finley is the only card, that references his former version.
I don't know if he would find a home either formats - I have a feeling, that we would see a neutral legendary with a highlander effect - but he offers a lot of potential. Together with Elise he is one of the best heroes imho.
Elise also has some reference, she can add maximum of 5 cards to your hand. It is same with Un'goro version. Well, I would like to see some "add sth special to your deck" but she adds something "more" to your deck again, at least it is an instant effect instead of overtime. :)
Btw, I loved Sir Finley of the Sands. I don't even use the dude power sometimes in control decks. Maybe there could be good no-duplicate heal+dragon deck for paladin in this exp. Who knows, maybe we may see a The Curator like effect :P
Wild will be hilarious to play tbh. This expansion will impact wild more than standard imo. Highlanders, Quests etc. This year's throwbacks is so good for wild. Blizzard finally acts for wild too. :)
Minion spam into minion spam into minion spam; Hand/Zoo Paladin is coming and you don't even need to hit your face for 2 Health like Life Tap and/or need to empty your hand for Divine Favor.
Minion spam into minion spam into minion spam; Hand/Zoo Paladin is coming and you don't even need to hit your face for 2 Health like Life Tap and/or need to empty your hand for Divine Favor.
Why noone mentions that card has been worded as [Hearthstone Card ("cast") Not Found] not [Hearthstone Card ("play") Not Found] which would change everything, even expectations.
I mean, someone said above, it is relevant to what new spells mage will get. No, That's not about that. It is relevant to what new minions Mages will get.
Maybe Felhound Portals and even Bombs which warrior adds to your deck. Casts when drawn cards are also "casted" spells.
Puzzle Box of Yogg-Saron completes this quest single handedly. ok this way is too slow but I guess you understood what i mean.
As i said above the reveal page, They all should work to complete quest mechanically if they worded the quest true.
If mage gets a card like Servant of Yogg-Saron, and the expansion has some spell-casting neutral minions, it could be a little problematic. a new viable Mage deck is coming i guess. I'm saying "problematic" because of infinite-value issues back in old hearthstone days, and nowadays.
I'm expecting to see a spell card for mages like "Cast [Hearthstone Card (Arcane missles) Not Found], Mirror Image and x" which casts 3 or 2 different mage spells at the same time. We saw where Reno Jackson's mage powers are coming, simply from scrolls.
Mage HP is essentially Primordial Glyph without the Discover; not sure I want to put in the effort for it.
BEEEES!!! should be great for a Token Druid, though.
I don't think BEEEES!!! will be great for Token Druid since those bees would die as soon as you cast unless the minion they attack has 0 attack power. I think the other 3 also will attack even if the target has 1 health.
Corridor Creeper-type cards are in wild so this can't help Standard token imo.
We lost 3 expansions and got only 1 expansion for standard.
It is a general issue for hearthstone's standard format. Variety always got hurt because of rotations. In First expansion of years, Some archetypes are always more dominant than others.
We're reaching mid-year which adds more cards, that might be possible to add some variety to the classes which has been lacking variety of archetypes.
There was a time Mill Rogues and Mill Druids were viable at competitive play and there were not so much Hand filler cards and there were not so much cards which you make your opponent draw a card.
Side Note: If you don't know what is a Mill Archetype, Mill Archetype simply aims to burn opponent's cards and make them go fatigue quick to be lethal and make them take quick fatigue damage by making them drawing cards while they have no cards in their deck, while protecting them with some evasion + healing packages and card advantage.
It was used on that role. Playing King Mukla + Naturalize/Coldlight Oracle adds your opponent's hand 4 cards. While your opponent has 8 or more cards in hand it makes them burn 2-3 of their cards and with his fat stats it also helps to trade bigger minions with lower mana cost for that archetype. In that time Handlocks/control Warriors were so popular decks so it was a good tech card for mill archetype.
Still he might be viable if Standard Mill archetype gets some support but in wild, there are some better options and decks in wild are so powerful for him. Because mana cheating is just normal for wild and his stats couldn't enough, also banana's couldn't enough to fill too and also Mill archetype gets hurt because of Jade Idol and some other decks and cards which fills decks and makes the decks cheat fatigue.
OP didn't listen and went ahead and crafted Brightwing anyway. Which begs the question why they created a thread asking for suggestions in the first place.
Oh well, their loss.
They created a thread asking for suggestions to help decide between Brightwing and High Inquisitor Whitemane. I am not saying everyone was wrong to suggest they craft something better because personally i agree, but they obviously really wanted one of these two and had fun with it. Can't blame them for having their own brand of fun.
Yeah, We all forgot people wants the answers of 'their' questions, not the correct one. Our mistake sorry. :)
But well, the title says "which legendary should i choose", it doesn't say "let me decide between those". Anyways, Sometimes I tend to act like people actually wants help.
Yeah, I'm a bit pissed because I don't even have Brightwing yet. :D
I'm simply copy-pasting here since I did not collect them.
Some of the responds on reddit, twitter, personal pages and official sites have been collected together in this article; Anyone who couldn't get these news can read them in this thread.
Sorry for the link but its for only proof purposes that these informations are real.
Also There is some news for Mobile Hotfix.
Hearthstone devs responded to a number of questions...
A: The reward works the same way as Brann Bronzebeard or Murmuring Elemental, so there is no change to the mechanic. Battlecries will still only happen twice.
Q: Can we have 2 active Quests at the same time? A: No, only one Quest can be active at any time. The second one cannot be played until you finish the first one.
Q: Will both Quests appear in the mulligan?
A: Yes.
Q: Does Questing Explorer work with the original Un'goro Quests as well?
A: Yes.
Q: Do Reborn cards count twice, when it comes to resurrection mechanics, etc? Once for the original card (with Reborn keyword still active) and once for the reborned card (with 1 health remaining)?
A: Yes. Deathrattles would trigger twice as there are two copies in the pool of dead minions. Note that if resurrected, the 1-Health version will come back with full life and Reborn keyword - the two copies are functionally identical. Works basically like the paladin secret (Redemption).
Q: Does Reborn set the minion’s life to 1 Health or deal damage until it has 1 Health remaining? Q: How does it track if Reborn has triggered? Q: If I copy a Reborned minion, do I get a Reborn keyword back on the copied minion? Q: What happens if I Silence a Reborn minion with 1 Health?
A: The minion returns with 1 Health remaining, but it can still be healed to its normal maximum Health. A: You can tell that Reborn has been triggered via the visual effect on it (similar to how you can tell that a minion's Divine Shield has been used up). A: If a minion started with Divine Shield, then that Divine Shield got used up, copying it wouldn't give the Divine Shield back. Same with Reborn. A:Silence does remove the Reborn state (again, same as Divine Shield).
Q:Sir Finley Mrrgglton is shown riding his loyal steed. What is the name of this magnificent beetle?
A:Jeweled Scarab is the type of mount he´s riding, what do you think he should name this one?
Q:Ossirian Tear's text states: “Your Choose One effects have both effects combined.” But how does that effect Wardruid Loti? A: We often go with text that is easy to process on your first read and this is a good example of that. We talked about writing "all effects combined" to make it more clear in the case of one legendary at the cost of being less clear in every other case and decided not to do that. (Editor - by that answer we can deduce that all 5 (editor's editor note (me) - There are 4 effects aside Wardruid Loti without a form) effects will be combined at the same time.)
A: Reno's class is based around what amazing loot he has most recently found. That means for this expansion he is a mage because of his gun of magic wands. Sir Finley Mrrgglton is a paladin btw.
A: Matching stats like that is a nice to have so that people see the link. It is one of those design things that feels good. However those numbers are really good for balancing cards and determining what else you can combo them with. There are a ton of factors that go into deciding the numbers on a card. The aesthetic of matching numbers vs balance vs tempo vs combo potential.
Blizzard responds and issues hot fix for Patch 14.6 issues on mobile devices...
With the recent 14.6 update, we identified some pesky bugs that needed squashing. We are currently rolling out a fix that will resolve the following issues:
Fixed an issue where hitting the home button while in a match on a mobile device would not bring you back to your match.
Fixed the “Global Asset Cellular Download” pop-up from showing.
As for the login issues on Mobile, we are still investigating this. There is a workaround that should work for you in the meantime: uninstall and re-install the app. This should let you patch up properly and not get stuck at the Tavern doors. Sincere apologies for the miscommunication on my previous post!
It’s now live on Google Play and should be rolling out on iOS soon.
Please let us know how the experience is on this new patch! We’ll be sure to keep an eye out for any other issues that could crop up.
Have a great week!
Cheers, Chris_Attalus
Edit: I have edit the text for addressing cards for outof.cards database also want to make some sharing with my own thoughts about something that I learned recently from this article.
I would guess 2 quests at the same time would be impossible for Hearthstone's mechanics but I have doubts in my mind. Honestly, This quest news has relieved me. Also I would guess Questing Explorer will work both expansions' quests and that also made me happy to hear.
If the Wardruid Loti situation true, It will be great to have her since combined Loti will be good in paper. If you planned to disenchant her, wait until Uldum release. It will be cool to see her combined form in standard. Btw with Ossirian Tear what Wardruid Loti shapes into;
There is one more question at 6th section about Reborn keyword as " What about bouncing?" but it seems Celestalon forgot to answer that. We can learn the answer from 5th question's answer. it says if the Reborn minion which loses its reborn is resurrected, it has also reborn and other texts. So if we put a reborn minion which dies and summons the minion with 1 health to our hand, it will have reborn too. At least that's what I understood from that answer. If I'm mistaken please let me know.
Let's say that if they print a Priest spell "give a friendly minion reborn".... well, I'll be a little worried.
Anything else will be fine.
I don't think there will be a spell like that because of Desperate Stand.
If there will be, it needs to be 2 mana or have another effect too like draw a card/restore health/gain armor etc. because it would be meaningless to have something similar as 2 different cards.
They need to add something interesting to "give a minion reborn" card like how [Hearthstone Card (Feracious Howl) Not Found] and Shield Block are mechanically different but does the same thing most of the time.
Ok Deathrattle that summons the minion with 1 health remaining and Reborn are different things like how Charged Devilsaur and Rush are different but well, it will be boring to see that.
Many keywords aren't anything new. Charged Devilsaur had rush before the keyword became a thing. Unstable Evolution was an echo card before that keyword was introduced, etc...
Whether the keyword will be interesting depends largely on the cards they will print for it. The warrior one so far looks decent.
Charged Devilsaur is the prototype of how rush should work one year before they actually realized how it works.. it's not exactly rush since if the card is cheated out it can go face.
decent? it looks really powerful when the card is coparable to both Zilliax and Militia Commander in terms of removal and stickiness you know it's a powerful card.
one year before they actually realized how it works ?
C'mon, Icehowl was already there since TGT in 2015 and Charge was there since 2016 with nerfed version (last version) so they "already knew" how it works, they didn't realize it with Charged Devilsaur and they knew charge was a problematic keyword they never denied that.
craft Whizbang the Wonderful or even Zayle, Shadow Cloak for safer version. Whizbang is one of the must-haves for new players. I am not so sure but I am guessing that they will add it to classic set.
It helps you play a lot of decks + learn to play better. Maybe lists are not very efficient for high ranks but all of the decklists are well-builded unlike a new player can build easily.
Silence waster. but really
"do you really want to silence my 2-mana 2/1 ? sure, then get my other stuff that deserves silence" type of card. I'm speaking for wild ofc. If there's a good controlock deck in standard, it's cool.
Actually, like others said, it can also tutor the deck(Mostly Zoo) which has only Leeroy Jenkins, Magic Carpet or High Priestess Jeklik as most expensive cards.
and it's also easier to pull the combo with Master's Call and other spell generators since Faceless Manipulator is not a beast.
There is only The Beast, Bull Dozer, Burly Shovelfist, Hakkar, the Soulflayer, Mecha'thun and Deathwing which can kill this minion in standard and other Poisonous cards which will die and can't survive.

https://outof.cards/members/kaladin/decks
I think it is already easy. when you gone to your profile, there is a tab as "Hearthstone decks".
it was not about the desert theme. I was waiting it since i heard about Year of the Dragon as I always want dragons in paladin. :)
Loved it. Nothing more to say. I'm always fan of transforming, it doesn't even matter how or into what.
Twilight Drake Drawer.
Minion spam into minion spam into minion spam; Hand/Zoo Paladin is coming and you don't even need to hit your face for 2 Health like Life Tap and/or need to empty your hand for Divine Favor.
Call to Adventure, Crystology and Salhet's Pride will be enough to fill your hand with Bronze Herald, Sandwasp Queen
All of these new paladin cards makes Glowstone Technician more viable, even overpowered.
Ah and It makes me sad that seeing a lot of beasts in paladin while I was waiting for Dragon tribe in him. :(
Why noone mentions that card has been worded as [Hearthstone Card ("cast") Not Found] not [Hearthstone Card ("play") Not Found] which would change everything, even expectations.
I mean, someone said above, it is relevant to what new spells mage will get. No, That's not about that. It is relevant to what new minions Mages will get.
Servant of Yogg-Saron helps to complete this quest in wild. Archmage Vargoth also casts spells.
Maybe Felhound Portals and even Bombs which warrior adds to your deck. Casts when drawn cards are also "casted" spells.

I won't be so surprised if mage gets a new minion like Servant of Yogg-Saron. It is even be the Reno Jackson himself like Swampqueen Hagatha's Horror.
It is "cast spells", not "play spells".
That means Archmage Vargoth spells also count, Servant of Yogg-Saron also counts Casts When Drawn cards also count (Felhound Portal).
I don't think it will be slow. I mean, if the "cast" word on the card is truely worded, those cards should work mechanically.
I don't think BEEEES!!! will be great for Token Druid since those bees would die as soon as you cast unless the minion they attack has 0 attack power. I think the other 3 also will attack even if the target has 1 health.
