Let's say that if they print a Priest spell "give a friendly minion reborn".... well, I'll be a little worried.
Anything else will be fine.
I don't think there will be a spell like that because of Desperate Stand.
If there will be, it needs to be 2 mana or have another effect too like draw a card/restore health/gain armor etc. because it would be meaningless to have something similar as 2 different cards.
They need to add something interesting to "give a minion reborn" card like how [Hearthstone Card (Feracious Howl) Not Found] and Shield Block are mechanically different but does the same thing most of the time.
Ok Deathrattle that summons the minion with 1 health remaining and Reborn are different things like how Charged Devilsaur and Rush are different but well, it will be boring to see that.
Many keywords aren't anything new. Charged Devilsaur had rush before the keyword became a thing. Unstable Evolution was an echo card before that keyword was introduced, etc...
Whether the keyword will be interesting depends largely on the cards they will print for it. The warrior one so far looks decent.
Charged Devilsaur is the prototype of how rush should work one year before they actually realized how it works.. it's not exactly rush since if the card is cheated out it can go face.
decent? it looks really powerful when the card is coparable to both Zilliax and Militia Commander in terms of removal and stickiness you know it's a powerful card.
one year before they actually realized how it works ?
C'mon, Icehowl was already there since TGT in 2015 and Charge was there since 2016 with nerfed version (last version) so they "already knew" how it works, they didn't realize it with Charged Devilsaur and they knew charge was a problematic keyword they never denied that.
craft Whizbang the Wonderful or even Zayle, Shadow Cloak for safer version. Whizbang is one of the must-haves for new players. I am not so sure but I am guessing that they will add it to classic set.
It helps you play a lot of decks + learn to play better. Maybe lists are not very efficient for high ranks but all of the decklists are well-builded unlike a new player can build easily.
Oh 1 more thing to add this discussion, I mean 1 more thing that Warsong Commander needs to be unnerfed or changed again is There is not any support to Charge keyword anymore.
Charge keyword is simply replaced with Rush that means Warsong Commander won't get any support anymore.
It needs to unnerf and move to wild like Mind Blast and Vanish or need to be redesigned. I don't think there is a reason to hold it like that forever in the standard because it will be always a dead card without any new charge minions.
There are 3 options which blizzard should reconsider for Warsong Commander;
Producing new minions with charge
Unnerfing it and moving it to the HoF set
Redisgning the card again with something different
The reborn keyword gives a minion a deathrattle/resurrect (similar to the Paladin secret) with one health remaining. This thread is to discuss this new keyword. What do you think of it? I do not see it as anything spectacular new since you could already have the same effect as a deathrattle for instance.
Saves some ink on the card, that's true, but a resurrect with one health remaining is also not new and was already known as a Paladin secret.
Like echo was new. There will be cards which interacts with reborn (Give your reborn minions +1 attack, After your minions lose reborn(dies), this gains +1 attack) etc.
It opens a new path on design space, so it is new. It doesn't mean that it isn't a new keyword if it is already in the game as a mechanic.
And for being good or bad, yes it is kind of a good keyword. It has its own value on a vanilla minion + like @RandomGuys said, sticking with extra keywords makes it even better.
I expect to see at least one Taunt/Reborn one Divine Shield/Reborn minion.
Any change to propose? Maybe increase the cost to 5-mana? Also, about the weapon?
think about that a bit, 5 mana destroy 2 minions sounds fair? I mean; ok, hitting with a weapon could be the drawback of the card, especially for hunter but I don't think any of the Hunter decks can use this.
I don't like 2 weeks of intense revealing. At that point, i'd prefer no reveal at all. Blind release.
yeah blind release feels more exciting but bad for pre-orders. People wants to know if their money worth it or not.
Also with reveals, players can make some theorycrafting and decides wants to buy or not.
Blind release is good for me since i am a f2p player but bad thing for p2p players and blizzard itself.
Btw, I agree with other guys. I prefer 5-6 cards in a day more than 1 card per day. Most of the time there are surprise reveals with this way and we got 7-10 cards per day except weekends. I can wait til' first reveal stream rather than 1-2 cards per day.
I think hunter will get a Quest and Brann, so you should capitalize on that maybe..!?
it is just a fan creation, he didn't even say that its a prediction for new expansion. He just says "idea" and also the thread is in /customhearthstone section.
It is token art for Keeper Stalladris. Before him, all the tokens have same art with card. After Keeper Stalladris release, they need to make different art for all of the Druid choose one spells because he adds tokens as new spells to your hand.
So this art isn't new. It has been released on Rise of Shadows expansion.
he is drawing Call the Guardians token art. The other is Nature's Defense. You can see all of the Druid choose one spells' arts are now different.
I haven't got that many predictions to share yet but here's one: Mage quest reward Hero Power will be either "add a random spell to your hand" or "cast a random spell".
I don't think they will give mage more random spells, especially with a quest. They did it on Un'goro for quest progress.
Well, it would be cool if they make a Zombeast hero power for mage like "Discover 2 spells and combine both." Zomspells. :P
EDIT: I doubt Hunter's quest will be focused on spells, as it can be recast with Zul'Jin and spells in hunter can be quickly unbalanced at the moment because of him.
Why unbalanced ? It doesn't even provide benefits and just waste of a secret room. completing 2nd Uldum quest would be only reactivate your used hero power. Getting same hero power twice doesn't provide any benefits.
Priest Quest: " play 7 cards from your opponents deck, reward: 'hero power name', Passive hero power; Your healing effects damages instead"
Warrior Quest "kill 15 minions in your turns, Reward: 'hero power name', Hero Power: Deal 1 damage to a minion and give it 2 attack"
Rogue Quest"Trigger 8 deathrattles of your cards, Reward: 'hero power name', Hero Power: Trigger a friendly deathrattle"
Paladin Quest: " Lose 10 Divine shields on your minions Reward: 'hero power name' Hero Power: Give a friendly minion Divine Shield"
Mage Quest: " Play 10 different spells, Reward: 'hero power name', Passive Hero Power: Spell Damage +3"
Hunter Quest: " Play Summon 10 beasts, Reward: 'hero Power name' Passive Hero Power: Your beasts have rush or Summon a Beast that died this game. (even have a name; Rescue pet)"
For my own experience, Quick Shot never worked with Master's Call. It doesn't function well because you can't draw most of the time and the card is only deal 3 dmg most of the time. Also 1 copy of Ironbeak Owl is enough I guess.
Also 1 copy of Savannah Highmane is always good in hunter decks and for your secrets, Wandering Monster is always a better secret option for aggressive Hunter decks, instead of Cat Tricks.
Well, with my requests, the deck is simply evolving into classic Mid-Range deck but I guess that is more effective, at least I'm seeing it like that.
I will share my preffarable deck here. just wait a minute. Deck ID Not Found
I would use this instead of yours honestly. Ofcouse you might not like this playstyle if you like hybrid style but i m seeing this as more efficient than hybrid one.
Creation competitions are very close. We will have a completely dedicated system for it, better than what we could achieve with forum capabilities on hpwn, so give us a little bit more time to bring that to fruition and then we can start right up! ;-)
Is it weird that I'm more excited for this reveal than for the new expansion? Really looking forward to it!
Not at all! Custom Comps are going to level up and a half. It's nice when the boundaries of your imagination are the only limitation for card creation facilitation.
Yeah, I know at least an in-site card-creator is coming and I know these kind of things takes time to create while there is already an upcoming content to hearthstone -a new reveal season and the stuff mods need to do pile up while keeping the site usable to consumers and there are some site contents to do also. That's so much stuff to work. and there is the fact as Satisfying people is one of the hardest things on the world. :D
I know you guys doing your best. Keep it up, we can wait :)
yeah it is for sure but we all know Brann Bronzebeard as the first battlecry master, so much people expected to see battlecry related stuff with Brann and we know he is hunter hero this expansion.
I don't think there will be a spell like that because of Desperate Stand.

Charged Devilsaur was not the prototype.

not just the secret
Desperate Stand

Don't forget to check other choose one spells also. :)
ah big fail for me. Why I don't know but I read it as "Equip" not "add it to your hand".
My bad really sorry.
Total of 6 mana will be enough for this design in my opinion. 4-2 seems the best, as you designed. I would do the same.
Better card designers would evaluate it better than me :)
think about that a bit, 5 mana destroy 2 minions sounds fair? I mean; ok, hitting with a weapon could be the drawback of the card, especially for hunter but I don't think any of the Hunter decks can use this.
It would be a cool design as a warrior card tho.

For the card, seems a bit overpowered for 4 mana. Vilebrood Skitterer

not Warsong Commander
They should unnerf Tinkmaster Overspark

I would change Quick Shots with Hench-Clan Hogsteeds and one Ironbeak Owl with Deathstalker Rexxar since Deathstalker Rexxar is an essential card for all of the Hunter decks in wild.
Also Vicious Scalehide and Dire Frenzy is just a fantasy most of the time. Using Scavenging Hyenas and Timber Wolfs are better choice with Springpaws to finish quick instead of hoping some heals from them. Deathstalker Rexxar is all you need for survivability.
Also 1 copy of Savannah Highmane is always good in hunter decks and for your secrets, Wandering Monster is always a better secret option for aggressive Hunter decks, instead of Cat Tricks.

Also I would even change Ironbeak Owl with Zul'jin for more Animal Companions + other spells and Tracking withCandleshot since it is always a good option to find Deathstalker Rexxar or Zul'jin quick. So you can change Candleshot with Tracking and Ironbeak Owl with Zul'jin.
or keep those and replace them with Wandering Monsters or even replace them two with 2x Trackings too with 1 more Tundra Rhino.
I would use this instead of yours honestly. Ofcouse you might not like this playstyle if you like hybrid style but i m seeing this as more efficient than hybrid one.
did anyone see that post ?
https://www.reddit.com/r/hearthstone/comments/4cg5gb/hearthstones_strong_female_heroes_and_that_one/
i've found it recently and it is 3 years old now I'm thinking about it like this post is one of the reasons behind it.
Yeah, I know at least an in-site card-creator is coming and I know these kind of things takes time to create while there is already an upcoming content to hearthstone -a new reveal season and the stuff mods need to do pile up while keeping the site usable to consumers and there are some site contents to do also. Hagatha corrupts the waters and creatures in the swamp (toads, murlocs, etc.) shout their battlecry louder. hahhah
yeah it is for sure but we all know Brann Bronzebeard as the first battlecry master, so much people expected to see battlecry related stuff with Brann and we know he is hunter hero this expansion.
