I am at 150lvl without Tavern Pass and missed a lot of weekly/daily quests this time and I'm really surprised how generous Hearthstone became in years.
I was almost(bought only 2 or 3 bundles) completely f2p player since beginning and I honestly can say that Hearthstone became really generous with Year of Gryphon and it made me come back to the game after hanging out on Runeterra.
I hope they continue and improve to do so and thanks all of you who supports the game with purchases. :)
And as always, I'm ready to test new cards with my crazy ol' pal Whizbang the Wonderful until at least reach 20th lvl of the pass.
I don't think they will add core races like undead, human, elf etc. to the game as tribes. It brings a lot of problems about Pirate tribe for example. Tribes like Moonkin might find its place in the game at future tho. We saw that for Quillboar's for example.
For playable WoW races, it is better to keep them off from game as tribes in my opinion. It opens a lot of opportunities for tribes such as Pirate again. It makes possible to make for example a Merchant or Artisan tribe. That sounds better than simple Night Elf, Undead, Goblin etc.
For diversity of undeads, it would be better to add tribes as specific as Ghoul, Abomination etc.
I agree that it doesn't make sense to add the playable races as tribes because of the presence of "profession" tribes like Pirate. (They'd have to be more like MTG and have a type and subtype to make those work together). But with respect to undead, Dean Ayala has already said it makes sense as a tribe. I think the way you square that with playable races is by calling the playable undead "Forsaken" rather than "Undead." The former is the official WoW name for the race, while the latter is something of a holdover from Warcraft 3 race names.
That would probably lead to some confusion around which cards get an Undead tag, but it would suit the idea that playable WoW races aren't tribes.

Nice catch ! And it can even work in standard with only Vanessa VanCleef if our opponent won't use them for finish the game (for example Guff the Tough) and tihnk about you draw your Purified Shard before the priest ! :D That would be fun !

Honestly I find it super cool that any card is able to make what is essentially just an all neutral deck with a Bloodfen Raptor a fun idea. It perfectly demonstrates that there is a lot more to enjoying the game than just winning. With that in mind, it's not at all unwise to leave out rogue cards, since a basis of your enjoyment is maintaining the pretense of not playing rogue :)
Yeah, you are absolutely right. Winning is always second or third part in my point of view for card games.
I've just said that i want to try my chance on Standard first. It is another deckbuilding challenge for me since wild has wider options, you know. :)
Also, thanks for openning this thread so I could borrow your Wyrmrest Purifier idea which is brilliant and which I didn't consider yet. I must try a double class Rogue deck as soon as possible. :)
- count resets for Zoe, you need to play 10 cards again
- you don't need to buy it again
-regional rewards is the most and shortest way for wildcards if you didn't complete, other than that, you can buy with real money or need to wait for weekly vault. if you ask for consistent way of experience, 3 win for ai + lab ai + pvp is the most efficient one.
- i can't recommend any singleton deck since it is not great for Runeterra system, you could use your own singleton. I only can recommend that for highlander, P&Z is best.
-People use [Hearthstone Card (Zoe) Not Found] not for its upgraded state. They usually use her for filling 1 mana slot and it is most efficient with Lee Sin + Zoe iirc. You should try to build a deck around Zoe but don't use so expensive cards for it. Its style should be aggro-ish to use her level2 passive to give elusive/Overwhelm to your allies.
- If you don't have any necessity to use a fully themed around landmarks and just loving countdowning some, you can try AshkanBADCARDNAME decks. They aren't built around landmarks but uses AshkanBADCARDNAME's landmark so you can feel that countdown effect.
- Runeterra doesn't have so much RNG element like Burgle style. Card generations are mostly adressed. You can try Celestial decks or you can use some P&Z/Ionia lists that uses cards like Back Alley Barkeep.

Just a random idea of me when I saw the Garrote + Cornelius Roame at the same time and then I thought "why I don't use that idea to join giveaway with it" so I built a deck around that idea and now I really want to give it a try at start of the expansion.
Honestly, this sounds like a nice quality of life feature that is in practice too minor to have to work out a way to implement it. It is a dead feature for all but 1 week in the expansion cycle (maybe 2 weeks if you consider the mini-set significant enough), and as you acknowledge there are external solutions to the problem during that week.
Don't get me wrong, I agree it would be ideal if it existed, but it's hyperbolic to say they are "sabotaging" their game by leaving it out.

While i can understand, completely aggree with canceling reveal season and stand with people who stands against this disgusting thing, I really don't understand why people acts like its the company's fault.
I mean, Some people mentions here and around web that they will cancel their payments, pre-purchase etc. in order to support the stand against this kind of stuff and it really feels dumb to me to be honest. This is not the company's fault and it is only on some disgusting people that has done this and I'm almost sure of that Blizzard will do anything to punish them by their side and cancelling the reveal season proves that a bit. First impressions: Use Malygos the Spellweaver in your Quest Hunter decks. 10/10 Satisfaction. Get Tavish, Master Marksman at 8 mana by playing 2 spells for 3 mana and play it for avoiding Mutanus the Devourer with almost no cards in hand, then play Malygos the Spellweaver at 9. You will end game probably at 10.

It is a surprise -again- that no rogue cards at the tops of the community compendium. Rogue quest will surprise most it seems.

You should add Animated Broomstick to kill those Elwynn Boars, Just Devouring Swarm might not help, 4x cards for that is always better than 2x. :)
There are so much opportunities in wild and Wyrmrest Purifier is one of the best options for that kind of deck for sure.
