Is there any confirmation about earthens are silencable or not? It says 2/2 with +2/+2 so I thought like it would be more like Pogo-Hopper than Jade Golem, silencable. If core body would stay 2/2 i will be happier, not really a fan of jade stuff, i don't even like relic DH's Relic of Phantasms.
Now I need a minion that decreases the cost of Forge so I can use Lab Constructor without hesitation. Well, at least we can reduce the mechs costs' right ?
Whining and criticizing are two different things and i felt whining in your comment instead of a critique.
It doesn't feel honest criticize when you see someone whines about a game 7/24 for years and keep playing and leaves whiney comments in a fan website of that game. I just can't bare people like this and can't stop myself to reply them in a bitter tongue. I don't usually write nowadays like before but I am following this site almost everyday. I was seeing your comments under almost any HS related article and most of time it feels like you were just ranting about it instead of criticizing.
I might be wrong of course. I maybe confusing you with someone else because of your nickname or profile picture. Even it may be that it was you and i am still wrong about you because of prejudices I have about you for your post comments.
What I wrote above was not just a comment about this comment of yours. It was a pile which is gathered in time because it bothers me a lot when someone whines about a game 7/24 and keeps commenting on forums and keeps playing, they just should stop playing and ranting. That's simple.
Sorry If i am mistaken. you can consider that as my prejudices that i have gathered from your post comments on other articles but this is how i feel about your comments if it was you.
Well, i can understand a hyperbole from miles away but i just can't get it why it is used there and the reasoning. It just seems silly there.
it won't be necessary if you use get for Schooling because of how long Piranha Swarmer is. It will 2 lines anyways. I can't see any inconsistency between Piranha Poacher and Schooling. one adds 3 cards so the word is plural and the other adds single card so it is singular. I don't think you can evaluate it as an inconsistency.
I think so. If they decided to change the style, I need to admit that get suits better and saves space.
Well, it is not about your brainfart theory obviously. What I was speaking about was the attractiveness of the style, the charm. This is why there is an education for marketing etc.
People looks first, then buys so you want your product looks good. Actually, this whole reveal season is here for same reason.
Like I said above, 2 lines - 2 effects. Simple and looks better. Also they use "get" for other cards in Titans iirc.
I can't really "get" why you said "I doubt the game will start crashing because of it" tho and also probably not any other company can find consumers like Blizzard's who always whines about almost anything but can't stop playing/consuming their product. A weird kind of obsession.
How one can actually believe a company makes that kind of mistake with one of those brainfart moments is another topic all along.
Ah and for Kologarn, you can't use "get" there because it works like Sap or Entomb for hand. I am not really sure the text is the end product, it was translated from some asian language i guess but seems ok for me, if you use a wording like "Rush. Whenever this attacks a minion, get it. Deathrattle: Give it back to your opponent" it would be total mess and wouldn't explain what the card actually does, how it goes to your hand and if it is returned to battlefield or opponent's hand. So, That's completely ok.
But yeah, you are the greatest mind around that can only decide if it is a decision made to save on text space or a brainfart moment of Blizzard. So yeah, next time, shine bright on Team 5 and teach them how things must done.
But you'll find yourself commenting under what they were decided to create which noone actually cares your opinions on them and will find yourself enjoying those brainfart people actually made for you to play.
Enjoy the game created by a team which you 7/24 expostulate about.
For this example, When you use "Add" you need to say "Add 3 1/4 worms to your hand." but when you use "get" it would be "Get 3 1/4 worms" only.
it saves you from "to your hand" part.
it is same for "give" too. It saves more space. "Give your opponent x" vs "Add x to your opponent's hand."
Maybe this card doesn't want text space but they might be doing that for consistency after all past inconsistent stuff and it looks cooler with 2 lines for this card. if it would be add - to your hand, it would be 3 lines.
2 effects - 2 lines, better for eyes, good decision in my opinion.
While the wording is weird, I think the deathrattle seems correct - if you don't play the card(s) in time, they get taken from your hand and put into your opponent's. So unless you mana cheat this guy somehow, you can't kill a big guy and play it on the same turn, and you risk giving your opponent the card back if they can kill Kologarn.
I don't think you have to kill the minion in order to get it to your hand. If wording is true, attacking will be enough. It doesn't say, "whenever this attacks and kills" like;
It was succeeded to engage my attention. I'll probably try and love the game then like almost all competitive games, i will hate it because of "meta" nonsense.
Infect should probably exclude heroes the same way poisonous does, because you're severely limiting your own design space here. The cards you made for it are interesting, but I'm not sure how well they would perform, since you generally don't want to wait a turn for a minion to die. Blood Boil is the only card like this they printed so far and that one functions more as an AOE where if the surviving targets attack your hero that will simply guarantee your hero will get some health back.
And keep in mind that Blightfang, which is half of the existing infect cards, has its infection effect trigger when the targets die.
Well, actually i have something like these in my mind too but i didn't add them just because of the rules since they don't have the actual keyword.
Hello after a long time. I wanted to use one of my former keyword Bleed (x) with with a change.
I changed it to Infect(X) since we have the actual effect in the game right now for Death Knight. So here it comes;
Infect(x) isn't a keyword only for death knights tho. You can see that on Shaman, Rogue, Demon Hunter, Warlock and Druid too. Shamans and Druids can use it with their nature magic, Rogues can reach that word with their oils for their weapon and Warlocks and Demon Hunters can use fel to infect their opponents.
but they won't be my entries since it would not be creative. Here my entries come;
Information on Plague Sprout ; it can only increase once. I mean it won't deal 3 damage after it increases to 2. Using the spell twice deals 1 damage and then other 1 damage and when it is increased, 2 damage and then 2 damage like how fatigue damage deals in an order. Using the spell twice in a turn won't make it increase on 4 turns instead of 8 turns and using the spell twice won't increase the damage to 3 by that what i mean is, each spell's damage is its own. if you use one on turn 4 and the other on turn 12 for example, first one will deal 2 damage and the second will deal 1 damage until it increases in 8 turns.
Edit: Changed the wording on Apocalypse.
Edit 2: I've created more cards to show how it can be on other type of cards like minions, weapons, spells and locations. Help me decide to choose for competition please. :)
Every round of my Hearthstone life was starting to end like this;
Opponent has 5 hp, I have 2 minions on board like 3-4 health and have like 16 hp; "Yeah, I will finish this round next turn"; Opponent plays Sire Denathrius, I lose.
I mean, aggro decks had it, control decks had it, combo decks had it, midrange decks had it, token decks had it. I really don't know why they wait for that long to nerf that toxic card.
Because 40-cards decks are fun too. I mean, you can do it on MTG in a different way and opens a huge opportunity for deckbuilding. We need a gamemode for that after renathal leaves or i just will keep sticking on wild more.
I'm actually quite surprised how people aren't seeing this from Flux's point of view. A small amount of empathy should be warranted here. He's the owner of a news site, even if it's for a game. Misinformation damages the reputation of news sites and it wastes staff time.
Yes, Blizzard's fake post is in poor taste but it can also be seen as slapstick humor. This doesn't mean the whole OoC community should gang up on Flux if you don't agree with his opinion. Also view the bad language as being passionate about the subject 🙃
It is what happens when you bring some political judgement here i guess.
I don't think it would have this kind of reaction if there was not that twitter adversion. This is a Card Game News site and we are not here to read this kind of political approaches. If I wanted to, I can easily follow news about Hearthstone from twitter, reddit etc. and then I can't say anything to those platforms because they are not themed around card games but I'm here because this site was used to have plain and simple news without political adversions or any other off-topic criticisms about the games I am playing.
My reaction is all about this else I can sympathize how flux feels about misinformation. Even though It is not my red-line, it is a valid opinion as a news site owner but if this is not a political site or even though it would be one, A news site owner and/or a journalist has to be objective about political stuff while sharing news. You can't share your political judgement as news, it is an unfavorable move for a journalist.
You might be right for some, might not be for another but if you really think bringing a political opinion about Twitter on how you associate this stuff with Elon Musk's acquisition is a good idea, you are wrong. It is worse than what you think is worse which is the joke that blizzard made in this case. Reading that comment as an opener even spoils the enjoyment completely from beginning. It gives a bitter taste from the get-go.
We saw from Avalon's comment how revealed cards are a red line for your team but it seems it wasn't for blizzard (which obviously was a joke, even for a new comer.) so you can't get angry for a company for not having same red lines as your business model.
I mean, I know everything is connected to each other; games, politics, etc. but it is not a good move when you politically judge something in a website which isn't the topic here. I don't care about Twitter and I don't want to learn your political arguments about twitter and how you relate it with Hearthstone here. If i wanted some political approach, it wouldn't be this site to visit. I guess you understand what i meant here.
And also, it doesn't prove that blizzard also thinks that they were wrong by deleting those tweets tbh. That move proves anything at all. Even if they got bad feedback and deleted tweets, it wouldn't prove anything again.
I got your frustration and even sympathize with you as how this topic is a red-line for you but it doesn't have to be red-line for others as well. Tbh, i liked the joke at first glance and would be happier if they didn't delete them.
Thanks to you, catwalks of Garrosh and Arthas will haunt my dreams forever after this.
I enjoyed the read tho.
I guess you mixed some things up.
Don't you think False Disciple is a bit much ? Especially for arena ?
Now I need a minion that decreases the cost of Forge so I can use Lab Constructor without hesitation. Well, at least we can reduce the mechs costs' right ?
really liked its potential.

I would like to see Tyr related with Silver Hand or Dragons. Missed opportunity imo.
Why they didn't promote Dragonflight in Hearthstone is another big question for me.
Trampling Rhino is back !

I can confirm this with another in-game action;
When you acquire and play Secret Plan with Priest, you always discover a hunter secret. It should work like this interaction, I assume.
It is what happens when you bring some political judgement here i guess.
