Do any fellow Out Cards friends interest in this game that finally comes officially to the other parts of the world ?
I was waiting for this game so long. Gave it a shot in Russian server a bit and then i left it to actually begin it in global release and now I wonder maybe someone here also wants to play this game and maybe we can group up there.
Statics alone are often misleading and should never be the only factor for change, most of the decks that were considered toxic or oppressive never had particularly high win rate or play rate but more importantly card games are just entertaining if people are not enjoying them they are gonna stop playing them, no one is gonna play a game because a bunch of stats say that the meta is healthy.
Yeah, entertainment is the factor, finally someone mentioned it and guess what ? Some people enjoys to play those decks you said they are problematic too and this is why im saying nerfing isn't the only solution but just the easisest one.
So while the meta is not that bad many players have started to get the feeling the Riot has just stopped taking player feedback into account and only balancing their game based on statics.
Which should have done this way. Statistics are the only factor for balance. Player communities are just whiney and greedy. Players nowadays are even more.
They are not the only problem of the game. Game is not completed yet and there are some balance issues with other cards aswell. Compare Nocturne and Baccai SpinnerBADCARDNAME for example. Nerfing seems always best option for players because it is the easiest way.
I can agree that statistics can be misleading sometimes but you can't always balance the game according to web whines and you can't always choose the easiest option as nerfing the powerful stuff.
It was all about my WCIII fetish I guess, Rexxar was one of my favorite characters in the side campaign because I love beastmasters in all genres of games but I guess you're right. I can't find anyone but Rexxar in lore that fits to be hunter hero as well.
Can't say anything for Anduin or Garrosh tho. Either this or that way, They had to find someone for those portraits and any other heroes doesn't really fit for every aspects of their classes except Gul'dan or Malfurion I guess. Any of them can't really be all of their classes. I mean, fire spells for Jaina for example or Valeera with poisons.
@BionicDoor They are new characters so some it depends on how they are received, as least for the more distant future. As for this year, a big piece of our story is following these characters so you can expect to see them in some capacity in every set (even if not directly as minions). (Source)
so Mercenary hero Cards confirmed ? I remembered like he speaks to return of hero cards in some Q&A so it makes some sense maybe?
Riot nerf this deck seriously, it's token generation is simple too high
The real problem is not just token generation. The deck simply ignores attack token mechanic. It might be not problem if they are only 1/1's but with Landmarks + cards that gives attack to tokens like Azir/Inspiring Marshal that free attacks became three 4/1's at worst which is 12 (+ 1 from sand warrior) total damage without an attack token which you have to block or spend at least 2 mana for a spell like Death Lotus. It is so much to spend for an attack that doesn't require an attack token and there is also more, They can swap allies with Irelia too with quick attack.
All of those cards are fair by itself, I really think like that. But together, they are just dumb.
Usually checking news, satisfying my social needs, sharing my shittiest decks for LoR mostly, sometimes for HS, gathering some information for fan creations of my own (There are some real brilliant minds), shitposting and being downvoted to hell sometimes, pissing on someone or something from time to time, so Simple human behaviours mostly but I can confess that I'm openning this site more than 5 times in a day. I hate e-sports and don't like to play with decks that i didn't build so I am probably missing almost half of the site's function but anyways, this site and community is still lovely.
I was hating to post on forums once upon a time and I was only a follower once this team was on pwn but they are like a little freaking blackholes who vacuums you into their social stuff; i loved em, started to post there and we moved here and I continued to post here too, I'm kinda addicted to it. I am leaving and returning from time to time but love these guys work really.
I did all three Hunter, Druid and Warrior, but now I´m stuck at Rogue, cause I didn´t check the cards first and now I´ve found out that I´m missing two key epics: Potion of Illusion and Bamboozle. Now I´m having a dilemma - is it worth to craft them in order to complete the puzzle and get the cardback? I don´t play the Rogue class at all, Potion of Illusion might be worth a craft, but I´m not really convinced to use 400 dust for Bamboozle. I was thinking about putting dicovering cards in the quest deck to find them, but it could take ages to get them that way. Might as well wait if I open them in packs? Does anyone know it I could possibly open the two in recent Year of the Phoenix packs? :/
Edit - Sorry for some of the duplicate info; I was too slow looking up cards, haha XD
Both cards are from sets released in the Year of the Phoenix so you should have a chance at them. However, IIRC, an epic is only guaranteed every 10 packs so the odds probably aren't in your favor.
Personally, I'd go the Discover route depending on your collection. Keep in mind that you can build a Wild deck so you have quite a few options.
In the rare case you have Keywarden Ivory, your odds of getting Potion of Illusion are pretty good. You could also roll the dice with a bunch of secrets if you have Shadowjeweler Hanar. There are a number of cards that will generate random Legendary minions which would give you a shot at these two, but they're probably not worth it if you have some of the cards listed below...
And then there are all of the cards that can bounce your spell generating battlecry minions back to your hand
picking hunter class as your opponent make pool wider for finding Bamboozle as well because Hunter has those secret finding cards like Secret Plan and Mystery Winner.
It's almost same with my first version when Bilgewater expansion was first released, I have added just Hexcore Foundry to it when Targon comes. Monster Harpoon is the latest addition to the deck with last cards.
Hello guys, if you are interested with new cards but bored to play same types that has been found in first days here is some weird decks you might be interested in.
Another Yasuo deck that tries to damage opponent's minions with Blades and surprise drop Aurok Glinthorn to stun them all. Try Vanguard's Edge when they have attack token to stop them attacking and attack for next turn to win. Something like this;
This deck is aiming to drop Jarvan IV with Blade attacks, some good mentions about it is bouncing Jarvan IV with Lead and Follow and another free Challenge with Barrier of him, it also lets us to drop Jarvan IV in opponent's attack turn.
Blades and Spiders with, Neverglade Collector. It drains when they die but needs opponent to block them most of the time because they obliterate themselves after attacks. They mostly block tho.
I will add some more decks when i find some interesting stuff with other heroes as well but firstly I need to acquire them and waiting to complete regional rewards for that. Check this thread later for more decks.
And feel free to make any changes with your collection and your thoughts, these decks are placeholders for some ideas, not refined versions of the decks and won't be last versions probably. They are here for just inspiration.
Thanks in advance for checking this up. I hope you like and enjoy.
Sure! I'm planning to do the puzzles today so I haven't tried this yet, but as far as I know, it doesn't really matter if you only use the leftmost minion. The goal is to get all enemy minions to 4 attack. Celestalon said on twitter that he wanted them to have the same attack right from the start and 4 was the first value that somehow came together. It was also quite flavorful with the 4 parts of the achievement. So there's no big mistery here as far as I know. It just seems to be easier to only use the leftmost minion and getting all enemies to 4 seems to be a maths puzzle if you don't just follow instructions from people who have already solved it. I hope that helps :)
Thanks for answer. I have done all of them and I asked this because when i first encounter it, i feel like "Oh, we need to try these keys on cubes and will try to keep them at same health after we tried" and expected that kind of logic but well, it ended up for attacks and like i said, with only attacking left-most minion, it felt weird to solve that puzzle because we don't even tried other keys on cubes. :)
I loved all of them but don't like rogue's one. Sorry Celestalon but it seems like it themed poorly. :( Best one is Druid's for sure.
First one doesn't seem like bug to me. The shuffled cards loses all of the buffs, echantments, cost decreases unless they are specified on the card like Dire Frenzy or Kingsbane.
So if you say that Efficient Octo-bot's cost decrease stays after the cards shuffled, then Efficient Octo-bot is the card that doesn't work as intended.
Some behind the scenes info from Celestalon for those that don't follow the devs on social media ;-) link
He also did a Q&A about it, but there wasn't much new info as far as I could see.
May I ask a question ? because you seem like you followed almost all progress of solving the puzzle and can't find any better place to ask this.
I can figure it out about Maze, Shop and Caravan puzzles but rogue one is weird. I mean, all of them except rogue's one have some logic behind it, probably rogue have too but i still can't figure it out why we should only use left most minion to attack etc. In druid's one for example, the reasons are there like we should hit 3 times to right to be able to turn left etc.
So can you explain the reasoning of rogue's puzzle. I am really asking it honestly and nicely, just want to know the logic.
the guy/gal who solved the last puzzle must be the trade god/goddess of mmos. I mean, with this skill, he/she never gets out of money in any mmo game with a market.
Pretty much in title.

So anyone ? :)
Draven's both arts are so sick with Kato The Arm, Shiraza the Blade and such. So fun !
Yeah, entertainment is the factor, finally someone mentioned it and guess what ? Some people enjoys to play those decks you said they are problematic too and this is why im saying nerfing isn't the only solution but just the easisest one.

Leave to forums if you dont communicate.
noone needs your shitty experiences or opinions if you respond like this.

I guess, its ok with this way.
Rexxar's bow was the first thing that bothers me when I started to game in first beta.
Yeah, we didn't notice that BBrode ! They were really considering that their playerbase like idiots as if it never had been said before (!)
True Story Bro !

yes
picking hunter class as your opponent make pool wider for finding Bamboozle as well because Hunter has those secret finding cards like Secret Plan and Mystery Winner.
So I would play against hunter with a deck has Keywarden Ivory + Shadowjeweler Hanar in it if i miss Bamboozle + Potion of Illusion
I'm using this deck for my own joy but you might like it;
Deck's aim is simple, put mushrooms and drop Rex.
Just try to find posse and dupe them.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
A Yasuo deck try with new stun cards of Targon.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Another Yasuo deck that tries to damage opponent's minions with Blades and surprise drop Aurok Glinthorn to stun them all. Try Vanguard's Edge when they have attack token to stop them attacking and attack for next turn to win. Something like this;

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Simple; Professor von Yipp with Blades with some mushrooms add-ons thanks to Kinkou Wayfinder.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Just a silly Teemo/Zilean deck for funny moments
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
A shuffle deck. Shuffle more Khahiri the Returneds, Time Bombs or Chirean Sumpworkers by the state of the game. Iterative Improvement is also good with Mechanized Mimic in some situations.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Another Sumpworks Posse deck. I didn't like the Heimerdinger version so I did a version of mine with the cards I like to play.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I will add some more decks when i find some interesting stuff with other heroes as well but firstly I need to acquire them and waiting to complete regional rewards for that. Check this thread later for more decks.

this is bullshit. I mean, really, how this is any different than a normal server ? c'mon.
I still can't play against inkeeper in normal or expert mode, any solutions to this yet ? Desktop btw.
Tried scan and repair, still doesn't work.
