Here's a Wild list a few of us cooked up on the Discord server. We've tried to fix the draw issue with Subject 9 and a secret package. Have you considered adding Cornelius Roame to the Standard list? I was a bit surprised to see bunnyhoppor & friends give it top ratings, but they're the pros and it fits exactly the weak spot of Questline Hunter.

I agree that AeroJulwin's idea for the finalists voting is a very cool and clean idea if the staff decides to keep that phase, I second that suggestion. It solves the issue I was aiming at far more elegantly than an expanded voting system with categories. Too bad that's no option for the first voting phase due to the sheer number of cards.
If dragging cards to reorder them isn't technically possible, I'm pretty confident there's a workaround like applying numbers to them for first, second, third place and so on.
A neutral Hero card will obviously cost you some points, but the effect is very interesting and creative. I don't feel much flavor to be honest since Stormwind features only one Mech and I don't understand why trading it makes it better and cheaper at the same time.
The way I see it, the Cost goes down because the Mech is depreciating in value - like a car - while the increased Armor is from all the add-ons people have attached to him over time. A gun-arm here, a jetpack there, etc.
That's my excuse, anyway: it's really about the gameplay. The Armor goes up to offset its lack of a Battlecry and to encourage you to Trade; the Cost goes down so the investment remains the same, and I thought that would be neat.
I could keep tinkering with it, or drop it altogether if people aren't satisfied. Edit: Here it is in Warrior form:
Good luck redrawing it in Warrior, though, especially if you Trade multiple times :(
That makes perfectly sense and adds a lot of flavor to the card. Make sure to point out these thoughts in the description box!
Regarding the class, I'm not sure if it is better in Warrior in order not to scare conservative voters or in Neutral where it's a better fit gameplay-wise, as you pointed out. When such difficulties arise, I usually say screw the voting results and go with the version I feel better with. Catering to your audience is one thing, but I'd never submit a card I don't like.

We're in the middle of the last Weekly Card Design Competition of Season 3 and I'd like to discuss how all you awesome people feel about these competitions in general as well as your suggestions for changes. Since everybody and their mother will try out the shiny new Stormwind cards next week, I think waiting for Season 3 to end before giving Shadows & friends something to ponder wouldn't work very well.
So here are my two cents:
The WCDC has become a constant part of my weekly schedule, I think I haven't missed one of them since we got started on OOC. I'm super grateful for Shadows and all other members of the staff for creating this space on the site that encourages creativity, engagement with likeminded people and an opportunity to earn internet fame points. You are awesome!
The little grain of salt I've tasted this season came with the finalists votings. Participation goes down in that second voting phase and I really don't agree with people dishing out 1 star votes for perfectly cool cards just to push their favorite contestant. I admit both of these issues are very hard to overcome, but I have a few ideas I'd like to discuss with everybody who cares to do so:
1) Expand the rating system
I think it was DestroyerR who first used a fixed system of categories for their feedback posts in the discussion threads and maybe that's a good idea to help people rate cards a bit more objectively. I'd suggest a 5 star rating in three categories for every submitted card: Flavor, Balance and Execution (= no spelling mistakes, no watermark issues, ...). The average of these ratings would result in the voting person's overall rating for that card (there are arguments for and against showing that overall rating to the voter, but I don't want to go too far down this road without knowing if it's technically possible and what y'all think about the general idea). This idea should also reduce the number of ties since the final rating of a card would be the average of an average.
2) Cut the Finalists Voting
I get that the Finalists Voting adds some flavor and excitement to the competition, it's a little nod of appreciation to people who got close to winning. The decrease in participation in these votes compared to the first voting stage just isn't worth it though imho. The more people are voting, the more valid is the result of the vote.
3) Rewards & Leaderboards
While I'm very proud to wear my avatar border, it would be cool to dish out more rewards for doing well in the competitions. I'm thinking of site currency, forum titels, stuff like that - most importantly, these shouldn't be given to the winners exclusively, but to a to be determined number of runners up as well. Last but not least, why not add seasonal and eternal Leaderboards to the site, based on a system that rewards points for wins and runner up placements (win = 10 points, second place = 5 points, third = 4, ... whatever).
Well, those are my ideas, now I'd be curious what you think about them and I'd be happy to see some suggestions of your own :-)
Thanks for all the feedback and positivity everyone! But to be clear, the idea of the effect is that if you trade, for example, a Frost spell, you would draw both a Fire AND Arcane spell in return (granted your deck contains at least one of each).
Similarly if your deck doesn't contain any Fire spells, trading a Frost spell would only return an Arcane spell.
And I would Imagine if you have no Fire and no Arcane spells in your deck, the Frost spells in your hand wouldn't show up as Tradeable at all (because your deck has nothing to give you for them).
I think trading one card for two would be a bit overpowered, especially as this singlehandedly tutors 2/3 pieces for the questline steps. If you really want to stick to that idea, I'd make it an Epic and reconsider the whole statline.

Sorry for the late feedback, I'm having a busy week. I gotta say I love the overall flavor of your cards, super cool finish of season 3 :)
Neoguli
Hmmm. I'm not sure how this is supposed to work. If you trade it twice and reduce the Durability to 0, would it just trigger its Battlecry and its Deathrattle immediately when you equip it for a second? If you don't do that there isn't much you can do to break it once it's equipped… I like the imp summoning, but maybe there's a better way to trigger that. Don't forget to add Tokens if you have any!
R
The text needs some tweaking, I'd probably go with something like "… reduce the Cost of both cards by (1).". Not sure if "minion" is needed either, but it probably won't hurt. Interesting idea overall, I like it. No idea for a better name, but I agree that it isn't optimal yet.
Demonxz95
Cool idea, quite flavorful. The one issue I see is that you'd very rarely want to play this card, a +2/+2, draw a card for 1 Mana will most often be better than a 3 Mana 3/4 do nothing. Maybe you can make it a bit more interesting to actually play the card by adding Rush or something? That might go well with the flavor imho.
AeroJulwin
The new text is better, but I would still adjust it a bit: "Once each turn, you can Trade a Fire, Frost or Arcane spell for one from another school." That said, very nice idea, cool art, great card overall. Are you sure this is only the second competition you're taking part in? :D
Lundy
Now that's a difficult decision to make, I like all three of them. I'd be fine if you made Cloth Merchant a 1 Mana 1/3 common that gives 2 Armor but it's probably the best of the bunch as it is. The priest card is good but too situational to really see play and I'd rule out Mage because Frost was their thing in Barrens, Stormwind has them play with Fire spells.
cydonianknight
I quite like it. Nothing to criticize from my side.
FieselFitz
I have to agree with Demon, the card is good enough but there's not much Tradeable flavor.
Wailor
Very cool idea to give Hunter some restricted draw. Thumbs up from me! I prefer the art with the caged Beast.
Arkasaur
Very cool, very flavorful. I'd probably go with the (2) less version.
Hordaki
Very strong flavor, but I'm not sure if it would be good enough to see play. It's quite slow and there's a small risk of getting milled by your opponent. Have you looked up the wording? "Someone" feels a bit weird.
linkblade91
A neutral Hero card will obviously cost you some points, but the effect is very interesting and creative. I don't feel much flavor to be honest since Stormwind features only one Mech and I don't understand why trading it makes it better and cheaper at the same time.

I don't believe in an Odd Questline Hunter since it needs too many cards and Hunter still lacks draw. But Spell Hunter was a thing back in the day and this could help it make a comeback. Wild Control Hunter?!

This isn't a yes or no question in my opinion and it has far more facettes than one can glimpse at first sight. I'll try to break it into pieces.
1) This is not about blaming OP for poor choice of words nor responding people for misunderstanding the initial intention; it's about understanding each other. What I'm talking about is the word "boycott". Many of you took that literally as in "quit playing HS and other Blizzard games altogehter", while I think OP was aiming at the broader meaning as in "don't preorder United in Stormwind". That's a huge difference, as a few of you have already pointed out. Personally, I was on the brink of going f2p again anyway and this incident just gave me the last shove. This decision might be overthrown anytime which has much to do with my second point:
2) Who are we hitting with a "boycott"? As much as I'm willing to go out of my way to support the cause of the victims in this ugly story, I can understand and am partly sharing the concerns of people who don't want to hurt the good people of Blizzard who provide us with our favorite game. Withdrawing from the game altogether would probably hurt the latter more than the big bosses we're aiming at, but I do think it might be a good idea to refrain from preordering Stormwind as a one time show of our mindset. [To each their own, but my personal stance has been to contribute some cash to stuff I enjoy on a regular basis if I can afford it. That goes for HS as well as OoC.]
3) Because what it all comes down to is that I strongly disagree with people who claim that we as the players can't make a difference. I firmly believe it is our duty as a society to stand together in cases like this and support each other. One missing preorder might not trouble Blizzard's brass, but I think the GameStop incident has proven the truth of the "apes together strong" meme more than enough. If you are able to do so, speak up on the web, like and share the stories of the victims and consider refraining from preordering Stormwind as a one time warning blow. Together, we can make a difference.

I hope you like tinkering with new keywords as much as I do. We'll probably see what Blizzard has in store for us when it comes to Tradeable within the next 24 hours, so maybe someone will even predict an actual card :D
Here's what I've got in mind:
As it is, the card always deals as much damage as you have paid Mana for it (trades included). That makes it very versatile but also not overly strong. I wonder if I should make the buff it gets from trading a bit bigger. What do you think?
(I'll capitalize and embolden "Traded" in my next version, this card was created before Auctioneer Jaxon was revealed.)

First things first: Once more an amazing guide, thanks for all the time and the dedication you've put into it!
When it comes to the deck itself, I'm a bit torn. I'm on a budget because I'm trying to go f2p again and crafting Dreadscale, Gahz'rilla and a Scarlet Webweaver will punch a serious hole in my dust wallet. I'll wait some more until all the Stormwind cards have been revealed and I can judge how much dust I'll need for them, but I'll definitely bookmark this deck. Great work!

It's a good thing people are speaking up and standing together to end this disgusting kind of behaviour. Even if the lawsuit doesn't amount to anything because of lack of evidence or something, there's a spotlight on the issue right now which will probably help prevent further abuse from happening.
Maybe we should also consider speaking up with our wallets. I haven't preordered yet and this issue doesn't really encourage me to do so.

I must say I'm interested. It might be good in the right deck, but what's even more important, my hopes for a Deathrattle focused Questline are rising.

Wild: Double Augmented Elekk into double Garrote and next turn draw them all with Grand Empress Shek'zara. As usual, the trick will be to survive until that late in the game and a do nothing turn 10 on top of that.
Super cool card, I'll add it to my Wild Deathrattle Hunter list which had no source of lifegain until now.

I'm gonna name it Gahz'reno Hunter in my collection.
