The deck that got me really hooked to Hearthstone was Tempo Mage. Turn 2 Mana Wyrm (1 costed at the time) into Coin into Sorcerer's Apprentice into vomiting out as many spells as possible was quite hard to counter and we haven't even talked about Flamewaker yet. The current Quest Mage lists in Wild should give you an idea what I mean. Mana Wyrm and Flamewaker got me to rank 10 eventually which was a big thing for me at the time. I've tried to reconstruct the deck from memory as best as I could:
I equally love my Mech Hunter list for two reasons. First of, I figured this deck out before it became meta. Realizing that magnetic basically means charge was something that only occurred to most people when Genn and Baku got kickbanned from standard. And second, after it became meta and was optimized by people who are way better at deckbuilding than I'll ever be, I actually managed to pilot this to legend - a feat I had never imagined to be able to accomplish.

I really admire your creativity DestroyerR. Not sure what we're looking for even with the hint thought. Maybe synonyms? Spy Snitch Buff? I don't think it's the voicelines, talking toast doesn't make much sense. I say SN1P-SN4P for the sake of making a guess and will think some more about it.

Thanks for taking the time to give us feedback, linkblade. I hope it has taken your mind off your worries for a few minutes. I'm not a religious person but I'm trying to send over some positivity. Have a virtual hug if you want to.

DavnanKillder: I prefer the second snowman, the one with the red scarf. Really cool that it has 4 arms.
FieselFitz: Demon explained the reasoning behind my feedback very well. The remaining issue is that I don't get the connection between the Water Elemental and having a Secret in play. If you have a flavorful explanation for this, make sure to add it to your submission (and yes, that issue has cost linkblade a point, too after I had put some more thought to it)!
KANSAS: Still happy with your card, I think you're good to go…. I wanted to say. Then I saw your edit. It's no big issue, but with the Panther having stealth right from the start I think 4 mana would be better.
Hordaki: Very strong card, well done. Not many Christmas Vibes coming over, but then that wasn't asked for in the prompt.
Wailor: The neutral Ghost of Winterveil Past looks cool to me. Much Christmas flavor and quite interesting effect.
BloodMefist: I'm not sure if that much cleveage might not fit current Hearthstone style. Other than that, I'm also not sure if there's a "random" missing before Paladin Secrets. Interesting idea and a good fit for Paladin.
Demon: Now this is what I was hoping to see when I asked for a fresh card. Very flavorful, quite strong and lots of Christmas Vibes. I love it! The only issue that comes to mind is balance. Discovering a Secret and putting it into play right away is quite strong after all. The best comparism is probably made with Arcane Keysmith. Combo isn't that big of an obstacle imho, so I'd at least suggest to make it an epic. Last but not least, Rinling's Rifle says we don't put Secrets into the battlefield anymore but cast them.

FieselFitz: Your idea is decent enough but not very exciting.
DavnanKillder: Your new idea is pretty cool, too. Really hard to decide between the two of them… I probably prefer Sand Shark because it feels more inventive. You're missing those little strikes above the es in protégé, though. That said, I really like the Murloc Mech art. The other two cards are better, but you should make sure to save this piece for future competitions.
Wailor: Much better art. The card is quite strong now, but I think it's okay. Cool idea!
KANSAS: Since you brought up the similarity to SN1P-SN4P yourself, there are several issues I can see here. I would order the keywords like in SN1P-SN4P's text box, so Magnetic first followed by Echo. Those two are separated by a comma, not a period. Finally, the name is already taken by SN1P-SN4P's token and I for one would give you one less star for this. All that said, it feels kinda off to me to adapt a Mech. The adapt flavor translates as something natural to me that happens to Beasts or Elementals. It just doesn't feel right on a Mech. All in all I'm not a fan, I'm sorry. I hope you can work with my reasoning if nothing else.
ChickyChick: It's a solid idea, if not terribly exciting. I think there's missing an "a" before Lackey. Nice of you to think of Spare Parts!
Hordaki: I prefer Pupil of the Moon. It's a cool card and quite strong in the right deck. I don't mind that it has an already existing big brother in the game.
BloodMefist: I'm a sucker for Hunter, Mechs and Deathrattles so this is a very interesting card in my eyes. The one thing that feels a bit off is that the duplicate effect is triggered by Spellburst. Bomb Toss is a thing, but Mechs and magic just don't go together well imho. Sadly I'm not sure how to fix this.

Thanks for all your feedback! I still prefer the original (rare) version because that's what I would expect Hunter to get in real life. Nevertheless, I've made an alternative (epic) version based on your feedback. I'd like to hear your thoughts about which one is better and why before submitting. Will add more feedback myself later today.

DavnanKillder: I love your Sand Shark, it's a really cool idea and feels very flavorful. (And I don't say that because I want to use Power Word: Drowse's art myself.)
DestroyerR: I like the art and the name, but I'm not so sure about refreshing the Spellburst. Inspire feels a bit forced in this one. What about this: "Spellburst: Give the spell Twinspell."?
BloodMefist: I'm not convinced either, but then I don't like spells with Echo in general.
Wailor: Not a bad idea, this could be very interesting, but I admit it's indeed very hard to balance and I don't like the art very much.
linkblade: Very nice card, nothing to criticise from my side.
Demon: Cool idea, I like it a lot!
I've also put some thought into making a Demon Hunter card and this is what I came up with. Which idea do you prefer?

FieselFitz: There's a comma missing after "Secret" and I think your card is one of those cases where too much is going on at once. I'm sorry, but I don't like it very much.
KANSAS: Very cool card, there's lots of flavor between panthers being kinda sneaky, secrets and stealth. I would even say it's good to go.
DavnanKillder: I think I prefer Nixue, but the name feels wrong. I'm no native speaker but I think it has to be "awoken".
DestroyerR: It's an interesting idea, but also very hard to balance. I think 2 turns is too much.
FenrirWulf: I prefer the second iteration, it's way simpler. Solid card.
BloodMefist: So you beat me to the Christmas Tree / Secret synergy thing. I like your art, but I don't get the connection between the attack and casting secrets. Would you please explain?
Demon: While I like your card it would be a shame not to see something new from you.
Wailor: This is… Interesting. I'll have to wait and see if other people come up with an idea how to abuse this because I can't.
linkblade: Nice card, I like your idea! I would argue to give the Ice Pillar at least one Attack though, since there are some classes that would really struggle to get rid of this otherwise. Or make it "thaw" and lose 1 Health at the end of each turn.
KANSAS has also nailed the issue with my Christmas Tree: the flavor is a bit off because it doesn't require you to have more than one secret. So here's the initial design which I didn't use because it's very OP. Please let me know if you think I should pursue this effect instead of the Despicable Dreadlord like version. I could increase the cost and / or make it a Legendary, but I still think it wouldn't fit Hunter's class identity to have such a strong and reliable board clear.

First idea for this week. I might drop it since DavnanKillder has a card with the same art and I'm curious if it would be possible to create a Demon Hunter card with old keywords. What do you think?
R is closer to the solution. The card cares only about your side of the battlefield.
No. It's not a legendary.
Negative
Nope
You don't want me on your team
My allies's defeat is all I'm interested in
I revel in carnage on the wrong side
That's why I'm not worth my leathery hide
It's not a collectible card.

1+ 2 = spider I think. But I don't get the third. Is it about the eye? Spider red eye? Has someone an idea?
Spider Tank?

(I know it's close to Pit Commander, but I think it would make a big difference to trigger the effect two turns earlier. Imagine this with only Pit Commander, Ancient Void Hound and Priestess of Fury in your deck!)

That's true, Petting Zoo is super bad in this deck. I'm actually running some kind of hybrid between RenoJackson's list and the one of dane.
Congrats grumpymonk and DavnanKillder!
This year, I have come prepared :))
Who's in for some restricted Hunter AOE with secret synergy?
