Yeah, precisely: this is an opinion article, which means the cards were picked purely based on people's feelings. There aren't right answers, as well as there aren't any wrong answers.
For example, there's a certain minion from Descent of Dragons that one member of the team chose as a card he won't miss, while another one chose the exact same one saying he'll miss it. I think see how different people have different tastes in the game is quite neat if you ask me.
I think this is not a card that will make Elemental Shaman rise, but it is definitely one that will help it stay on its own legs.
We probably still need that Kalimos, Primal Lord/Shudderwock kind of card to make the archetype solid and reliable, with an actual finisher we might say.
I think you could improve it even more with a few changes (Primordial Studies has decent chances to Discover an Elemental like Imprisoned Phoenix and Steward of Scrolls; Instructor Fireheart is an autoinclude in every single Shaman deck), but in the meantime I think I'll steal your theory craft for day 1!
Well, they're trying to push a more board-centric Priest rather than just a "removal until you run out of resources" one, and this card really fits that design concept.
Both Paladin and Priest should be about board - now Anduin got his own Argent Braggart, which you are definitely right about.
I still think that this card is quite good as a general tempo/tech card, especially in a board-centric meta. Obviously, if Priest will be trash then Serena Bloodfeather won't see play, but the same reasoning can be applied to any other card.
As always, the preview art detail totally mislead us - on Discord, we were making LotR jokes and then we got bamboozled pretty hard.
For what regards the card itself, it's quite the innovative effect: we've seen something very similar with Slate's Syringe, but now we have this effect on a minion.
I'd say it's the opposite of Argent Braggart, because Braggart copies stats from other minions to equal them and become stronger, while Serena Bloodfeather becomes bigger by stealing numbers from a single target.
Also, it kind of reminds me the move Pain Split from the Pokemon games. All in all, a cool and (probably) very annoying card. Thumbs up.
Voidcaller but very fair. As of now, the only reasonable targets are [Hearthstone Card (Fishy flier) Not Found] and [Hearthstone Card (Renowed Performer) Not Found], with not many other decent alternatives (Bad Luck Albatross is going to rotate Disguised Wanderer is... questionable but not terrible, Nerubian Egg can't be efficiently popped and Sneaky Delinquent is far too underwhelming).
I guess that waiting for the reveal season to be over will make us understand more of this archetype's potential.
There has to be something more to justify a Legendary this... average.
I get it, it supports one of the expansion's mechanics, but it doesn't seem to be a worthy payoff. Maybe there's a third Watch Post after Crossroads Watch Post and Mor'shan Watch Post, but it seems quite strange for Kargal Battlescar to be the only payoff.
Sure, the sheer amount of stats doesn't have to be taken lightly - even if you play just a couple Watch Posts, you'll be able to get a 7 mana 15/15, which isn't shabby at all, especially if the meta will slow down (as of right now, Aggro Rogue would probably kill you before you get to 7 mana).
In the end, it's totally better than what most people think about it, but there has to be a missing piece we're yet to find.
I don't care if Deathrattle DH will be a thing: I want this card so bad - unless something even spicier comes out, I'll definitely craft it day 1 together with Blademaster Samuro. Not even a single doubt about it.
Just like someone else mentioned in the comments, it's pretty much a Vulpera Scoundrel that loses the Mystery Choice in favor of Poisonous and the Beast tag.
I would call this a good but situational card (definitely not a pack filler), but the fact that Hunter is receiving massive Beast support and some sort of convoluted card draw makes me wonder if we're in front of a possible sleeper... ehh, maybe I'm just overthinking it.

OldManSanns actually mentioned why in his commentary - she threw the whole fatigue game out of the window.
Potential AoE for every class - sure, it's going to be stronger in some classes, but at least everyone will be able to deal with wide boards now.

The art is cute.
I like this deck - well done!

Those are two very good arts, especially Redgill Razorjaw.

"I'm a guy who's an achievement hunter for fun."
- Saitama (probably)

But numbers can: 1600 dust is gonna be saved up for this boy.
Words can't express how much I want it.

Yeah: it was leaked in the Rewards Track article (level 4 reward), but it's yet to be officially revealed.
This is the best we could humanly do for now - when we'll be able to get our hands on a better art, we'll make sure to upload it.
Why wouldn't they?
I definitely agree with you - the DM Faire coins are very similar.
If I'm not mistaken, we are yet to receive any information about the cost.
I bird told me you should wait... *checks watch*... 6 minutes.
