  • I rather they buff weak powers and treasures. Most classes only have 1 hero power that doesn't suck complete ass, and 1 or 2 starting treasures. There is no variety.

  • To note that trading this probably counts as an SI:7 card played, so trading it often will build up quite a momentum with the other SI:7 cards.

  • I must say i don't fully agree with how everyone immediately jumped on the "Shame blizzard' train as soon as news about the lawsuit got posted. It is still unresolved and Blizzard stated firmly many accusations are false.

Of course if they were guilty that's what they'd say, but we should still wait for the legal process to play out before choosing sides. Since the Riot Games scandal a while back i don't hold any corporation in a golden light anymore, especially current Blizzard, but lets give them a chance to defend themselves, right?Too many people brought their pitchforks out to sharpen at the first news of a scandal.

  • It looks like 100% damage control to me. Cards revealed by blizzard are very unlikely dependent on a single person like the cards given to the community. In truth these "boycotts" by the community are killing the hype for the expansion and bringing more awareness to the lawsuit, so they just shut everything down so we won't have a new youtuber tweet out they are not revealing their card either every day for the next few days.

  • Ah yes the announcement of the announcement.

  • Honestly it makes me feel annoyed that if aggro decks have a hard time against something, that something must be stopped. So what if priest beast the shit out of face hunter or token druid? Not like they do anything against warlock auto-winning vs literally all control or slow decks. But noo, aggro is what most people play so aggro must always be king. God forbid we have a slow control meta at any point.

  • I would love for more non human/elf/orc skins of any class. The game has so many races and we only get humans with big teeth and humans with long ears and eyebrows. Where are the Worgen, Undead, maybe even gnomes/goblins? They made an Onyxya skin but she looks like Jaina with hair dye! Could have been first real Dragon skin.

They already have heroes from the adventures fully voiced and animated and all. Why not sell them? It's so frustrating, could be literally easy money and a great benefit to players, but they don't do it.

  • More skins are always nice though i can't help but feel disappointed with them. Maybe it's just me but the classic heroes in a new costume most of the time look so similar it's hard to tell the skins apart.

Wish they'd add more characters, not costumes. Ragnaros is a great addition! When will we get an undead hero? Or worgen, gnome/goblin? Always humans, elves and orcs.

  • My, hopefully not too simple idea. Can't be more straightforward than this.

    • R: It feels pretty weak and unfun tbh. It removes one of the enemy's board slots forever and can lead to possible frustrating matches if someone figures out how to repeat this battlecry. The hero power also doesn't say random, so do you get to choose from the 5 cards?
    • linkblade91: Love the flavour and art, though not sold on the designs themselves. The second version is worse, often it can whiff and make you choose between some shitty 1 drops, or minions it can't kill. First version is better but idk where you'd use him for. It requires many board clear options, so control deck, but why they want Kor'kron Elite for 1 mana less?
    • Wailor: My favorite idea so far. Only complaint is that paladin can't really use it well, no big combo pieces like priest, mage or warlock have.
    • Nirast: Uh... k, very weird design. Honestly it might either be too OP since it's easy to trigger when you want it and copy it with stuff like Bloodsworn Mercenary, or 30 armor is way too much and this is useless. Overly-complicated and giga otk cards don't usually get good votes so i suggest you try something else simply cause people won't vote for this.
    • Demonxz95: Dormant weapon, now that's new and cool. I imagine it takes up a board slot like usual Dormant minions. I like it a lot, easy 5 stars from me.
  • Thank you!

  • Thank you so much for featuring me!

  • An important thing to not is that this is a counter to Frostbite for Reputation decks. Instant 5 attack from 0, to guarantee the trigger.

  • It grows to 10 Power on its own when it attacks since it counts the total of ALL allies, itself included.

I'm super suprised that R's Combat Dominie didn't make it. Maybe I won't be as straight forward with my feedback in the future, looks like it might paint a target on people's back if their cards are labeled as a potential winner (and I wasn't the only one who said so). Sorry R! :(

I gave it a low score because it was OP. 1 mana draw a card and it's a 2/1 Divine Shield. Argent Squire, Novice Engineer

And Paladin with just Holy spells is very easy to do, not much of a restriction.

  • Quote From Neoguli

Can't believe I am not among them. Now I remember why I don't participate often, it's because I feel upset not being able to advance further.

I was victim of that one Hearthpwn contest where my and other cards on the same page were tied for 13th, which led to some discussion about changing their contest's rules.

I think the main problem with your card is that it doesn't really do what the prompt said it should do. You didn't focus on the theme of a single Spell School, but went with both Fel and Shadow. Fel doesn't have anything to do with Soul Fragments first of all, it's always demon related. Then secondly, Fel and Shadow are almost the only spell schools Warlock and Demon Hunter have. Barely a restriction in the deck building process, like asking priest to have Shadow and Holy spells.

Beyond that... what's the reward supposed to be? Healing? Because any other Soul Shard synergy is actually anti synergy, as stuff like Void Drinker and Soulshard Lapidary will DESTROY the spells you made into Soul Fragments. Why would you want that? If you wanted to just have the soul fragments drawn to heal, then why use soul fragments at all if their thing is getting burnt for benefits?

  • Cards that work with this effect are: Devour Mind, Thoughtsteal, Seance, Madame Lazul, Shifting Shade, Drakonid Operative, Archbishop Benedictus, Mind Vision, Psionic Probe, and probably others i forgot.

    No more Mind Blast otks!

Neat idea going the neutral way, but a simple draw 2 cards is a bit boring imo.

Druid has a handful of arcane spells so this is mostly useless. Random damage never was druid's field either. You should find some proper art and not a screenshot as well.

The reaper is too good, see Mossy Horror. At least lower the stats. Acolyte of Frost is the coolest (ba dum tss) of all. Medivh looks like he might allow for some op combos but i'm too tired to think of specifics right now.

  • Update 2!

Reworked some cards, put in giant collage images instead of each card 1 by 1 (cause i'm lazy) and also managed to break the site!

  • Update!

Finished the Basic and Dragon Scion set. Guess i should start expansion now, but which one first?

Any feedback is welcomed and encouraged!

Nice, I like this class. I'm not sure if Black Dragon Blood isn't a bit weak in comparison to others, maybe it could also give +1 Health. Other than that, I realy like balancing of the Hero Power. Other than that, I'm also not sure about balancing of Commune with Dragons and Sky Duel. Commune with Dragons is pretty much Resizing Pouch, but limited to dragons. The effect is probably more consistent and better, but I'd still say it would be good at 1 Mana. Sky Duel on the other hand feels like much worse Windfury or Animated Broomstick. Technically, this may avoid Taunt, but still I wouldn't make it cost more than 1.

Thank you for the feedback! I removed the cards you pointed out and i'm thinking of better effects for them.

    The Scaleborn

The theme of the Scaleborn is draconic ancestry and power. They are people of dragon descent and they have a special affinity with these majestic creatures. The class focuses a lot on proactive plays, delayed effects, tempo and board control. A special theme is attack synergy, many cards force and benefit from attacks. The Hero power also easily increases the number in hand fast and there is some synergy with that too.

Chromatus the Perfect - Biggest payoff to the hero power and Heritage mechanic. If you manage to grant them all 5, then he nukes the enemy board. The Lifesteal from the Red Dragon blood will heal you to full, the Poisonous will make sure everything dies, the Taunt and Divine Shield will give you a strong defender and the Spell Damage is a cherry on top. A lot of setup, for a great payoff, fitting for the only successful chromatic dragon.

Yara and Balgruf - Although from vastly different worlds, the two have formed a love unlike any other. The card splits into 2 smaller versions which lets you play them earlier if in dire need, as they both have rush. However if you wait to play them together you can recombine the couple into the original big minion, which due to Rush can attack right away as well.

Rival Sibling - This is meant to be the strongest way for the Scaleborn to fill the board. The initial Sibling will not get any heritage. If you played Black Dragon Blood before, he would summon a 2/3 with taunt besides him while he remains a vanilla 2/3. Strongest scenario is when you have all 5 Heritages active and you summon a six 2/3s with keywords. Similar to Party Up!

It's In My Nature - Dragons breathe fire right? Well, since we are born of dragons lets do that too! The friendly minion shoots a stream of fire to a random enemy minion. This has special synergy with Red and Green Dragon Bloods, and helps you maintain control of the board.

Ruby Next Guardian - One of the components of a Big Hand archetype in the class. Draconic Heritage can easily be spammed to have many cards in hand, so synergy with that is only natural. This big daddy dragon will smash something in the face right when he enters the field, and combined with the different Heritages he can have it can prove an amazing stabilizing tool.
