Funny how you say that. I tried to make quest shaman work the other day in a more control style deck with Swampqueen Hagatha. I got to silver 5 then switched back to meta decks :( feelsBadMan
What happened to the deck recipe play mode in the fireside gatherings? I remember it was present along with the no cards barred play mode. This way, you can play the new deck recipes with the new cards from SA without having to open them in packs.
So Ancient Void Hound and Rattlegore would typically fit in control style decks, which means you can always try bait out Zephrys first with your other big minions or force your opponent to play him proactively coz you keep clearing the board. (As a control warrior can do). Seeing as Zephrys has been in the game for so long, it's easier to identify highlander decks and only play the mentioned cards when your opponent runs out of resources. But this is all theoretical ofc :D both these cards won't see play if there's an aggro/tempo meta, we know that much.
Would you still need Ysiel Windsinger if you have this card? The combo would prob work better without Ysiel, but I'm sure there would be some insane overkill damage if you order these plays correctly with Malygos + damage spells.
Hope combo druid is back, miss that archetype since togwaggle druid
Another thing pointing to Demon Hunter being based around being a straight out aggro style class since development.
that's not completely true. The devs said that DH was designed as a class that constantly pressures you, but quickly runs out of rescources later in the game due the lack of card generation. But the class can achive that in more ways than just aggro.
Big DH for example can pressure you early by cheating out big deamons starting on turn 5. Some of the alternative HP also supported that slower playstyle like "2 mana deal 2 damage to a minion and your hero"(removed because it was to frustrating to play against) and "2 mana gain +1 attack, can be used twice each turn"(removed because most of the time it was just a worse druid HP)
Big DH isn't successful atm even though Team 5 tried to push it, purely due to the hero power. It's the same reason why we've never seen an aggro Priest or control hunter (not counting highlander hunter as control). The class hero power greatly dictates the play style and possible archetypes for the class. The other reason why DH is so OP is coz their "weaknesses and limitations" aren't really seen that way. Card draw trumps card generation every time, except when in fatigue and due to DH's most successful archetypes, they end games before fatigue.
People are just overreacting coz it's a new design that interacts with your opponents hand. I vaguely remember people whining that combo was dead when Gnomeferatu and Demonic Project were released.
Good point on the Quest Warlock though, Glide would actually help your opponent achieve his quest.
This card is good for two things, combo disruption and trolling.
I'll comment here. Thanks Flux and co for all the site improvements, especially the new and simplified card search page: https://outof.cards/hearthstone/cards/?collectible=yes
This page also helps with tracking remaining card discussions as previously mentioned. Keep up the good work, it is getting noticed!

I instantly laughed at this flavor text and still laughing inside. So many of my work colleagues love python and here I am writing in C# xD

nope they won't, but it may still be played at 7 mana or pulled from Pit Commander

This card can also generate the dual class cards like Devolving Missiles and Runic Carvings. Nice value for control, but I'd be interested to see how it works with Heart of Vir'naal
Now every class can be priest and kill you with your own cards! :D
Please, please be an aggro/tempo meta. I already don't want to see this card played.
Disgusting Blizzard, how could you.
Oooff, another bad card for evolve mechanics, and there's only 8 good deathrattle cards (that have been revealed) that might be spawned.
I'm not liking this legendary. Difficult to find a place for it in any archetype unless it just fits in all? Doubt it
I think we'll need to wait for the separated spells, like Rampant Growth or Enrich to understand the choose effect properly...
We have our cutest card of the set right here!
I want one!
Didn't realize Convincing Infiltrator was such a hated card till now...
Lol, it's basically the opposite to Hench-Clan Thug

I think Blizzard got lazy with this card's name. It's so... weird and lazy
This card CLEARLY belongs in a big demon warlock deck. So why the ef do you showcase it in a zoolock, why?
I see Firebat is trying out for the Ben Brode Rapping position. Good effort.
Interesting card though, will obviously be broken with a select number of demons.
