Its good, like really good. Considering how difficult it is to draw for paladin, having something that basically draws its most useless cards and play it immediately, is really nice to have.
It does suffer from only having a token 1 damage. But that's hardly an issue. Whatever spawns from secret paladin will surely look to contest board, and played on 2 its not entirely bad. Played later and it basically draws you a card and plays a secret.
If secret pally doesn't see play despite all these support, then team5 has really fk this one up big because I don't think its going to get better than this.
Fact is that it draws cards and paladin having lost most of its draw option can certain use one as an aggressive deck, which secret pally will likely be one.
It you're playing an elemental deck, expect to see this card. But outside of that its not really that great.
Its ultimate payoff at the moment is either Lilypad Lurker, Fire Elemental, or Fantastic Firebird. All three are good 1 turn earlier, and this starts your elemental train so there's that too.
If Spawnpool Forager wasn't a thing, this would be hot trash. But since that is a thing, this is basically a 3/4 for 2 on 2. And that might just be enough to seal the deal then and there.
You play this, your opponent suffers 1-2 turns of bs, and then this card gets removed. Ultimately, you're not really doing much with this card since it doesn't really buy tempo and at its very best denies your opponent a top deck answer.
Let's be real, this card will never survive more than 1 turn. Its middling health means it will get removed by most things, and its pay off isn't really going to either disrupt or win you the game.
Its viability is solely on whether you can just get a ton of murlocs out in the same turn. But with Underbelly Angler gone, and no other way to summon murlocs other than playing them yourself, you either swing board with this and win, or you lose both board and card advantage and lose.
I wouldn't count this card out, but for now I think its just one puzzle piece missing from this becoming uber.
It can't be discovered from primordial studies, and its effect only last once. In other words, its just bad. If you need a pay off minion, just play Imprisoned Phoenix, which while is slower is at least not restrictive to one spell.
Its a druid and shaman card basically. But why would either want to play a conditional 2 mana 2/4? Not a clue myself. I mean, if you really really need a 2/4 for 2, I'd go with Hecklefang Hyena, which at very least wouldn't get screwed by rng.
Lol. The very point of a divine shield is to prevent attacks, and this one only comes out after one.
Theoretically played on curve its very difficult to deny this value, but spidertanks aren't exactly hard to get rid of nowadays.
I can't see this outside of arena. Had it been 2/5 then at very least there's something, but with only 4 health its not going to consistently trigger to ever be viable.
In weapon decks this is just good. In many ways I would prefer this over Vulpera Toxinblade, or just play them both in a very fast aggro weapon rogue deck.
Anything that buffs weapons will at some point see play, so don't give your hopes up.
Cute little hog. Instant 5 stars. This is going to break the meta. Your opponent either concedes out of pity, or loses one turn from laughing. Either way, you still get to view that cute little hog for all its worth.
But its low attack means its basically only relevant against aggro and little else. I still rate this highly, but only because it kinda more or less guarantees at least 2 health and blocking one attack. Most taunts can't even manage one of those, let alone 2.
Its actually very powerful in secret mage. There's literally no way to truly know whether its safe to kill this, with Counterspell and the new Oasis Ally being so handy.
The only reason why Grim Patron was so powerful back then was because it gets charge out of the old warsong commander. Outside of that its just bad. And this one is no better, despite being cheaper by 1 mana.
Its for Death Speaker Blackthorn. Basically the only deathrattle in Barrens even worth talking about.
Problem with this card is basically the same with other cards like it, its too slow. Outside of dedicated deathrattle decks, you won't be seeing much of this guy.
Hunter and dhunter might slot this in somewhere, little else.
I really like this card. Its obviously meant for Death Speaker Blackthorn, but taking 5 damage each? Well, that's too much to ask in my book.
Unfortunately, with so few good deathrattles around, you'll likely see this in deathrattle dhunter, and little else other than arena. Outside of that, this is just hot trash.

It has 4 health and it does some really disgusting stuff when triggered.
Yes, its going to see play. Lots of play.

Aggro decks will love this, and so do I.
But its probably pack filler.

One of the standout survival tool against aggro.

For hunters and dhunters.
In dhunter in particular you can get this to create some shenanigans with Razorfen Beastmaster and 5 drop deathrattles like Burning Blade Acolyte and Darkspear Berserker.
But its likely more relevant for hunters. Getting tonk out a few turns earlier is no joke.
At some point this card will be extremely powerful.
Until that day this is just arena filler. Too bad. I like it though.
