I'm not sure whether the 1 damage will affect the minions he brings back, but I figure it must since he specifically brings back frenzy minions.
Bringing back Barrens Blacksmith is pretty insane, especially if he triggers her frenzy immediately. Another good consideration might be Razormane Raider, which will at very least provide some cover, even if inconsistent. Goes well with the blacksmith as well.
Surely this card can get even better, as more frenzy minions are revealed. For now, its just so much in one, its going to see some play at some point of time.
Mor'shan Watch Post is the better of the two. Its pretty hard to find a deck that doesn't play minions in it. And if you manage to get it out on 3 and your opponent can't trade into it, its almost always going to get you a 2/2, which along with a must kill target, isn't altogether a bad result. I personally think people are sleeping on this card, but we'll find out when Barrens is released.
As for the Crossroads Watch Post, its only bad because Ogremancer is the better of the two. And its significantly easier to find decks that dont really play any spells, and without taunt in those matches, its just trash levels of bad.
On ogremancer, its only appearing now because masters tour featured lots of players playing this to counter rogue and libram pally. But honestly, its more significant in scholomance when the meta is mostly small spell mage, rogue and control priests.
Because in its rank 1 form that's what it essentially is. And I honestly think in the next meta its still acceptable to simply have something like Blessing of Might in your deck, especially if its an aggro deck, in which this card will likely be mostly found in.
Without taunt, this card is wholly reliant on Animated Broomstick to actually make an impact on board. Its usage will depend highly on whether watch posts make the cut, and while I think that it will, Kargal Battlescar might still not see any play.
If you have board and your opponent doesn't remove it, then you're already going to win. In those cases this card simply puts the final nail in that coffin. Its always about consistency with cards like these, and I think in most cases in standard warrior's looking to secure board rather than go face. Its pretty rare to have a board and your opponent not interact with it.
In many cases this card will just deal 6 damage from 2 cards on board and that's pretty good as a win condition. Even in its unupgraded form, its still just Blessing of Might, which is already a decent card in of itself.
Of course, there may and almost certainly will be more of these in FitB if Blizz wants to push this archetype.
One interesting note is that among these are an Elemental, a Murloc, a Beast and a Mech (and one which summons a Demon). So Death Speaker Blackthorn could potentially set you up for a high-value N'Zoth, God of the Deep on a subsequent turn.
It does have huge amounts of health, but will likely be prized only as another watch post. Ogremancer is the better counter against spell heavy decks, and the fact is that most decks you see in standard will likely be aggro, and aggro decks rarely play any spells.
If it had taunt, then we're talking. But sadly it doesn't.
Its not entirely impossible that this becomes one of the most hated card in this expansion. Play this on 3 and your opponent is forced to throw everything they have into it or play no minions to deny you value. With 5 health, its likely to survive a good deal of spell removals, and with 3 attack its likely to kill anything trading into it around turns 3-5.
One of the best watch post cards, if not the best. I mean there's only 2 of them at time of writing :)
Its going to be honestly one of priest best card for some time. With a simply card like flash heal this card does 5 damage to all ENEMY minions. So if you have board, all it takes is 2 cards and 5 mana to immediately swing.
It does help that most of the removals from priest are gone, so this one stands unopposed, in standard anyway.
I guess you're a big fan of Majordomo Executus, who currently holds the seat for the 'most likely to backfire' card award.
The watchposts aren't bad honestly. Mor'shan Watch Post is a 3/5 that summons a 2/2 for every minion played by your opponent. If you play this on 3 and your opponent can't trade into it, then its almost always going to get you a 2/2 at very worst. I like this one in particular, and wouldn't be surprised to see it in at least a few tier 2 decks.
As for kargal himself, well, I'm not a big fan, but that's not to say its bad. If you play at least 2 watchposts, that's quite a good deal of 5/5s on board which along with broomstick can still be a decent threat. Its also a nightmare to deal with by control decks.
Not sure how good this card can ever be. Fact is that after attacking other minions, most minions would not be in a good condition to take another, assuming they don't just outright die.
It does have a niche with Warmaul Challenger, which can grow up to at least 2-3 times before removing the target. So there's that I guess.
Ironically some cards like Inner Rage and Thoughtsteal will no longer be with us once Barrens is out.
I really like the watchpost cards, seems like there's a lot of shenanigans you can have simply by playing these cards out. Are they just a tad overpowered though? Play Mor'shan Watch Post out on an empty board and its nearly impossible to not get value, since most of the spell removal cards from standard are gone, and this card has 5 health.
Xyrella is just the kind of card priest really needs. Not being a spell means this card cannot be obtained from Sethekk Veilweaver, which is a little disappointing for priest players. But an option for board removal is always going to be welcome, now that most of the removal cards are gone. Will this make Desperate Prayer a playable card? I'm still doubtful, since Flash Heal exist, and will likely be the main activator of this card.
Reveals card that synergizes with watchpost, but not alongside the actual watchpost cards.
The watchpost looks pretty big. Chances are good there's going to be a few cards that have synergy with watchposts down the line.
As for this card, its usefulness will depend on the watchpost cards themselves because they don't seem to have taunt, and neither this card nor the token it summons has it either. So the watchpost either does something really special or Animated Broomstick is just mandatory in this style of play; otherwise you just die the turn after you play this.
The fact that its a battlecry and specifically recruits minions from your deck means that this card will at some point see play.
Im convinced that here has to be better cards down the line for this card to exist. Hopefully theres at least a taunt, because without it this card is absolutely just unplayable for the most part.
Reminds me of Soulciologist Malicia, and that's the high bar this card has to got reach to be good enough.
That's definitely a good card here. Now we see where main deathrattles are in dhunter.
Remains to be seen what this card can really do, so its hard to evaluate. Its good that it only brings up deathrattle minions so you can insert very specific cards to be brought back. Ideally a taunt minion or 2 will be good.
Wide board buffs will always at some point be relevant, so I'm not counting this one out yet. Its slow at 5 + a trigger. But the core set has been geared towards tempo so the game is likely slow enough that this card can actually work.
Expect to see some unconventional ways of triggering the frenzy of this card. Maybe rogue, because its the only class that currently has a 0 mana activator in backstab.
So much done with one card.

The fact that even as a rank 1 spell, this card is pretty good. Upgraded to rank 2 and you just got your win condition.
I expect to see this card in standard often. The removal of Blessing of Might from standard alone means this card easily slots in in aggro decks.

Vengeful Spirit might be anti synergy with this card because this card only gets minions off the deck, and vengeful spirit draws them

Enables Warmaul Challenger to be a massive beast of a minion. Everything else is a little too iffy as it needs them to actually survive the attack.
Not sure how good this card can ever be. Fact is that after attacking other minions, most minions would not be in a good condition to take another, assuming they don't just outright die.

Amazing work as always from AmazingLP.

At very least the old classic mode will be back, so there's something to do for that 5 days before Barrens comes out.
The fact that its a battlecry and specifically recruits minions from your deck means that this card will at some point see play.
