  • Its certainly going to be good value at some point. Basically it does well with rush and stealth beast, the latter better because you can just set it up a turn earlier before jamming this guy in.

Of course, leaving up any beast on board at all is now dangerous with this card around.

  • Suddenly leaving beasts on board vs hunter is never a good thing.

We'll need to see the full set to really evaluate this card properly, but chances are good the sweet spots are 2 and 4 costed beasts, courtesy of stealth beasts like Stranglethorn Tiger and Jungle Panther.

  • I always love cards like these. Common, discovers, and will trade into anything without divine shield.

If this card never sees play it'll be through no fault of itself. Its just a utility card for so many situations.

  • It has poisonous and discovers a spell, and its a common card. Basically this card just sent Vulpera Scoundrel packing

There's certainly something to it, for any deck that would like to play a slower pace game. The poisonous tag goes very well with decks that already plays broom in it, like warrior or druid. Even hunter can consider it since its a beast.

There's nothing like an all rounder card, and this one's spherical. Slot it into control decks for the extra value, or combo it with broom for an instant removal and a spell to boot. If Vulpera scouldrel saw play, there's no reason at all why this card wouldn't.

  • It heals for 6 and deals 6. That's very tempting honestly.

Unless there's better ways to either temporarily remove your deck, or to refill your deck, I can't see any warlock blasting through their deck trying to make this work.

  • Its funny how much you have to do before this card even gets good, and it can't even hit face.

So because of that non-face interaction, it's hard to slot into zoolock, probably the only deck so far that might reasonably get to 10 cards by turn 8-10. So into handlock is probably the best place for it, and even then you're not likely to get that 6 damage until at least turn 10 or more.

It has anti synergy with soulshard cards and Envoy Rustwix, proven cards in handlock.

I'm not exactly sure what to think of this card. Its likely to be never used, but at the same time having 6 lifesteal damage to any minion is pretty sweet. Not sure if its sweet enough for warlock to blast through their deck with its pants on fire.

  • I'm guessing you can never dust diamond cards since they're either bought or gained through achievements.

It does look very impressive, but unless they start toning down the conditions a little I'll never get one myself. I mean all the legendaries, like really? Diamond Bru'kan might as well be one of the rarest sight you'll ever see in hearthstone. At least it 100% means your opponent's a whale.

  • Well, that's one coin I would not be getting like ever.

    Unfortunate.

  • I think its safe to say that if your target for a holy spell tutor card is Desperate Prayer, you will certainly be praying very soon indeed

  • Conditional big body in a class that can't really draw. Im not feeling it.

Occasionally this can surprise your opponent, but most likely its because you decided to play this card at all.

  • Its...okay I guess.

5 mana 8/8 taunt is good. 5 mana 5/5 taunt is not so great. And unfortunately its the latter which you'll likely be stuck with every time.

There are some ways to do this on turn 5, like desperate prayer or turn 4 Tour Guide. But both of these options suck and you've got to actually draw them, so that's out of the question. Renew on 6 into this is probably the most likely chance of ever making this card work.

So, probably much like the namesake of its supposed support card. A Desperate Prayer needed indeed.

  • I guess that's good. A really big boy with taunt is just about decent, but Im looking more for something with a good battlecry to go with it, or maybe even rush. There's still plenty of cards down the reveal line, so here's to hoping.

  • There's potential, but ultimately giving up cards from your deck is too much to ask. Especially given that this card can only ever fit into a late game handlock style deck.

Had it cost less it might be good enough for a board swing, but its really just bad most of the time. I can't see why anyone would play this over Cascading Disaster anyway.

  • The buffs on murloc is decent enough to tempt some kind of murloc build from shaman.

But without better murlocs for shaman, it really does feel like sauce without chicken.

  • There's some decent synergy here with carnival clown and strongman. Outside of that its still a +2+2 with an upside for 2, which means it can fit into aggro/token druid.

Flexible, but as a druid card, it really needs to be broken to see some form of inclusion. And this card isn't really at that kind of power level.

  • Straight out of my mind is Carnival Clown. With lightning bloom or innervate you'll never run out of a board full of clowns.

Or you can use this with Strongman and make 2 8/8 taunts for 2 mana

The possibility of this card is great, but because it costs 2 and provides a decent buff, its really likely just going to end up in some form of token/aggro druid. Most druid late game are excellent enough that this card is just overkill. Maybe down the line we'll see some mid game taunt minion that druid can really take advantage of.

  • There's some combo potential down the line, I can feel it. But for now, its not really what I would put in my druid deck.

Druid neither needs the draw, mana cheat, nor is there any specific beasts they would like to tutor. In other words, this is not worth it...for now

  • We'll have to see more spells before this can be certified as problematic. On its own, its a decent card with an upside. But it will likely be slowed down by hunter's atrocious draws.

Its at least a better Violet Teacher for all that's worth. And in hunter, that's probably worth as much as an 8 year old's allowance.

  • Deals direct damage and is a minion.

Eviscerate may be gone but its spirit lives on.

You can easily just do 8-12 damage a turn with this, with the right cards. Even as a 4/4 deal 2, I don't hate it honestly.

  • There's just so much shenanigans you can do with rogue whenever they get a minion that can hit face for huge amounts. Shadowstep, Secret Passage, tenwu, Potion of Illusion. Its not entirely out of the question to just hit face for 8-12 in one turn, more if you get lucky.

The fact that it comes with a 4/4 body for 4 is pertinent, because at very worst, this is just a 4 mana SI:7 Agent. Not really bad at all honestly.
