I guess its just a matter of flavor. Not everything has to sound like an opening song from a disney movie. In fact, I kinda respect blizz for not making the cinematic sound like the opening from lion king, though god knows it could easily have been that way.
Except for poor Stonetusk Boar and Bluegill Warrior, what other card has actually lost its charge description other than patches?
Wouldn't it be funny if he got his voicelines back only to be nerfed back to the nether because he's going to be everywhere in wild if unnerfed? I mean its not like patches isn't already in most wild aggro decks with pirates in it.
On the subject of the 'Doom in the tomb' event, I think the time frame of that event was perfect. 1 month is just about a good time frame for new decks to adapt, evolve and counter others, and not feel like its just a passing thought. A couple of weeks is fine I guess, but its kinda a little too short someone who plays around 1-2 hours a day to experience the whole deal.
Hopefully in the next Q&A someone can ask why the reveal schedule for Barrens is condensed to 1 week instead of the usual 2-3 weeks. Waiting for new cards to come out used to be a pleasant experience; I'd take a few minutes to think of what the card can do and then wait with baited breath for the next reveal. Now it almost seem like we're pushing so many hamburgers all at once that each hamburger is rendered tasteless as a result.
Looking at how dominant dhunters (blessing of pig) were in that brawl, I'm surprised anyone could enjoy it. I racked up like 14 wins, with only 1-2 losses in between.
It all feels very rush, like we've been sitting down here twiddling our thumbs for the last 2 weeks only to find out that the reveals lasts less than a week before the final dump.
Wonder who was that genius in blizz that decided this was a good idea. I mean, they're having that theorycrafting giveaway, but then proceed to give us somewhere around 1 day after the full reveals to submit a list out.
Besides which, what about your own giveaway @Fluxflashor? Since submissions will end on the 18th (that's like day 3 of the reveals), is there any plans to push the date further up now that blizz has revealed their hand?
Pretty sure there is some sort of delay involved. I'm almost certain that the original release date was supposed to be the 23rd, but for reasons unknown it had to be delayed by a week (reasons that may or may not have occured shortly before or after Blizzcon) which is why this all feels rushed (when in reality it's just sort of pushed together instead of spread out evenly)
Well, even if they delayed the launch by a few days, is there really any need to only have a 1 week long reveal schedule? At least give us something to look at now, instead of another 5 day wait.
That aside, its starting to get worrying. I really appreciate the many features and additions team5 are adding into the game, but at this point it really does seem like their technical support aren't getting the support they need from management. The number of bugs, glitches and now this? QA must have taken a beating to squeeze more bucks into those annual reports.

Tavern brawl is just a zombie of its former self, done just for the sake of it and to award a weekly pack to those who would suffer it. And I'm completely okay with that.
Of course, for every good brawl there's always going to be bad ones, this one for example and perhaps the worst of the worst the brawl with raven idol in it. But at its core, it has always been a more laid back mode for casual play, one that rarely requires its participants to sweat over it.
Could it be better? Sure. I've never understood why team5 didn't just use the weekly tavern brawl for actual experimentation of nerfs, buffs, new card descriptions, or just to offer us a glimpse of a new mode, etc. The data would have been invaluable; play testing planned changes in exchange for a pack. Perhaps its because then there would be a need to constantly patch the game and they couldn't be bothered to do it or risk bugs, but it does seem to me a waste.
My bet is that it'll come either on Thursday or Friday, there being a few more unnerf announcements incoming so tomorrow's likely out of the question.
It is very strange that they'd delay the reveals to such an extent. Is it really a good move to condense everything into 10 days before launch? I wonder if that means Barren's launch would be delayed as well.
Unnerfing crystal core is a bold move, one that I hope will not backfire. I suppose the idea is that the wild meta is so much more about aggro and combo that it really doesn't matter even if crystal core was back. Since Stonetusk Boar has been nerfed for good measure, that's practically only Southsea Deckhand that can really do damage.
Since you're a fellow shuckle fan you may be interested to hear I prepend it with 'angry' for a reason very close to the present discussion: an angry shuckle simply hasn't got the attack stats to change the situation it is in, so the best it can do is calm down and make the most of what it has got. It sounds a bit defeatist until you remember shuckle learns Power Trick, making it the single most powerful Pokemon when it wants to be. Leaving yourself with a measly base 10 defense along with base 5 speed and base 20 HP isn't a risk to take lightly though, so best to hold off until something really gets your gogoat!
The interesting thing is that shuckle can absolutely be monstrous with the right moves like rollout. After a defense curl its nigh unbeatable.
2 weeks after the initial review and not a single card since. Maybe its a new avant garde kinda PR move, so the plan is to vomit everything out 1 day before launch.
That Flare and Starving Buzzard revert is probably the most impactful, but its wild, and hunter kind sucks competitively, so its hard to say that its going to make any impact. Still, a 2 mana buzzard is probably one of the most scariest thing you can see from hunter back then, and its likely to see some amount of play, if only because hunter draws like shit.
I was actually thinking of Wyrm Weaver a few days ago because it kinda sucks during the current meta game, but might be way too powerful in the next. But with mana wyrm now being 2 health team5 decided to reduce its mana cost preemptively. We'll see if that's a wise move, because this card might just actually be overbearing depending on whether tempo mage can be a thing in the next meta.
Finally a master tour, its been a while hasn't it.

Alright considering how powerful that one card was, maybe the word 'evolve' isn't the right word to use in this context :)
Damn, you got me there. Kinda forgot that Arcane Golem used to be everywhere too.

Wait, are we literally doing all the reveals in one week now?
Charge has been restored. Worgen warrior can now come back.

She originated Fan of Knives, uses poison daggers, blinks in and out of shadows, and wears a black hood.
I guess to blizz she is practically a rogue in all but name.
Im actually surprised that this was not offered for free like how Tyrande was. I mean, it was given away to us in Ungoro for zilch.
Well, I guess that pretty much removes all hope of receiving Khadgar or Morgl for free then.
Good lord, I don't think its even possible to game so hard, especially on a game like hearthstone. And with a real job too.
Congrats. How many hours you play everyday you monster?
