Potential turn 6 [card]mind control[/card]
If you cant get the perks for battlegrounds by buying packs,
well there goes my battlegrounds experience. I dont think its remotely possible to be engaged to both standard and battlegrounds. Just too expensive.
If it means you dont rank down from tiers every season, I welcome it.
Finally! I get to actually craft epics day 1 without having this duplicate issue hanging over me.
No more 4x [card]chromatic egg[/card]s
No more 4x [card]ramming speed[/card]
Alright, so [card]Leeroy jenkins[/card] finally gets the boot. Will be missing you.
The biggest change has got to be [card]acolyte of pain[/card]. But given that this card papers over weaknesses of certain classes, I guess its gotta happen at some point. Control decks have been relying on this for draw for ages. This being moved on allows the devs …
I guess its just a flavor thing to move this on.
For all the power increase the new cards give, for all the buffs the old cards get, without ol' [card]Northshire cleric[/card], all remains silent.
I'll be missing this card the most. With [card]acolyte of pain[/card] moving on too, I guess priest will genuinely have a problem drawing cards now.
[card]thoughtsteal[/card] becoming relevant : 2020
It will see play, but I often raise an eyebrow when I see a 1 drop that needs another minion in play to be useful. In this case, to maximize its potential this cant be a turn 1 play . You'd need another 1 drop or skip the first turn. If your opponent has a 1/2 on turn 1, you …
Its an exclusive dhunter [card]waterboy[/card] for 1 mana. Its health is probably why this is not going to see much play, in my opinion.
Its likely going to break certain cards. I'm just worried that it would limit future designs as they will have to incorporate this into consideration.
It also generally mean that 1 health minions, specifically 1 drops on turn 1 are no longer effective against 1 of the 10 classes now. That's kinda a bummer
There's no confirmation yet that the new dhunter cards are from the next expansion, is there? Since there's 3 epics, I naturally assumed its going to be part of the classic set. After all, the class got to have an evergreen classic set.
The one mana hp going to be a problem at some point, I'm sure.
Quote From madcatz1999 Quote From dapperdog I thought dhunters was supposed to be weak to draw.
They specifically said that one of demon hunter's strengths is card draw. Their weakness is card generation. No discover effects, no thoughtsteals, stuff like that.
Oh, my mistake.
But still, if they can …
Its still a silence, with a possible card draw for 1.
I'd play it, maybe as a one-off. If dhunters cant clear big minions, then staple early big minions like [card]edwin vancleef[/card] gonna go to town without this card.
Quote From DoubleSummon and this class is gonna need to heal a lot or have tempo to justify using such cards.
I think this is intended to be the main weakness of the class. Its supposed to clear minions with face, so do it too often and get yourself killed.
Maybe that's how team5 …
Its a good AOE spell. Possibly for control dhunter? maybe, just maybe.
Quote From MurlocAggroB They should just buff Savagery. I don't think this card is *that* powerful; it's more Savagery is useless trash.
I'm hoping the Priest revamp is just the beginning, and they're focusing on redoing the entire Basic and Classic set this year.
Cant say I agree. It does the same thing but …
Dhunter already has plenty of small AOE spells. They dont need [card]wild pyromancer[/card] to do the job
I supposed Malfurion is sort of a night elf right? I assume you're referring to Valeera.
But its hearthstone. Just paste a couple of pointy ears and call em' a one off.
I think its supposed to be a sort of a satirical joke. Obviously a jab at a popular, successful gaming media outlet's mistake. Harmless fun, not malicious.
Edit: well, Flux went on and provided a better explanation. I guess my post went up the same time.
I thought dhunters was supposed to be weak to draw.
Its almost prenerf [card]starving buzzard[/card] levels of OP. Guess that's another candidate for nerf lol.
