Alright, I ragged on this piece a while ago. But looking at it from a different perspective, its more or less an interesting minion for both paladin and priest.

Priest - [card]grave rune[/card] + [card]shadowy figure[/card], [card]wretched reclaimer[/card] + [card]embalming ritual[/card], this card + [card]high priest amet[/card] + any of the ones I mentioned. Getting this back with [card]psychopomp[/card]. …

Basically play a 7 drop that generate an 8 drop.

In other words; NOPE

An infinite minion?

And he would have gotten away with it too, if it werent for those meddling silences. Aw.

I'm always a little skeptical with buffs that come at the end of the turn. Its basically allowing the opponent to do the trades for you, which is usually not good. That was the case, to a lesser extent, with [card]shadow ascendant[/card] as well. I can see this working if they print a 2/4 for 2 minion for priest that …

This + [card]hoard pillager[/card] = yes, you are never dying to damage OTK combos ever again

Its interesting, as a card. It really boils down to whether weapon destruction is a thing again in standard. If not, then this card will cause some trouble to decks that dont go wide on board.

So [card]the darkness[/card] isn't really sleeping. He's just standing there, waiting

I have, but going with the cards we have seen so far, I don't see the snowball.

You've got 2 1 drops, but lets be honest only [card]scarlet subjugator[/card]'s gonna see play but its not a minion you'd play on turn 1. The new 2 drop would be the priest crocalisk (and a damn good one) [card]kul tiran chaplain[/card], …

There, all patched up. We're on the same team, dont worry.

thus making the epic duplicate protection they just introduced less relevant, but only for big spenders

Have to disagree here. Less epics means you dont get useless cards like [card]blowtorch saboteur[/card] as part of your epic collection. If anything its actually better for FTP since they have a better chance at quality epics not …

There's too many useless neutrals anyway. Takes more than a second to recall the card's name at times.

Okay, so its a beefed up [card]shadow ascendant[/card]. That card saw some play so this one will as well, right?

Not necessarily. At this point, most decks would have some form of removal to deal with minions like this, and likewise to deal with 2 drops. That [card]shadow ascendant[/card] saw play was because a) [card]northshire cleric[/card] (the best 1 …

Questlock runs Rafaam for meme potential. Even at higher play levels Rafaam is often thought as a zoo card, as a last resort (though he's often not very good there too).

We'll have to see the quality of the demons first. Obviously, if [card]shadow council[/card] tend to give higher quality minions then there might be a place for it …

The cost of the weapon is what makes it balanced, few can hold on to [card]desert hare[/card] long enough and not die before the combo can be assembled, earliest at turn 6, at which point most classes can already deal with three 4 drops.

As for bogstrok clacker, its a 3 mana card, which means to get the best …

There's enough support for dhunters to run this. Unlike rogue they have AOE spells and the pay off is huge. Its not a card for every dhunter deck, but a closely built one can easily support it, in my opinion.

I dont really have the numbers. But you can go for gold or bust at turn 4 where a decent demon costing 3 and below will probably come up. Even a [card]blood imp[/card] at +2+2 is a decent minion at that range.

Cant see it otherwise. You never play this in control unless youre trying to meme. Control decks …

Literal lol card that's surprisingly good on first impressions.

Play in zoo, just whip this up around turn 4 and profit.

*Is the card art displaying multiple Gul'dans or do all cloaked orcs look like this.

Its probably more likely to backfire than not. The player playing this will be 2 mana short and any board developed can literally be destroyed by the opponent just as easily.

More likely its an inclusion into control decks, and nothing else. I'm more interested to see if this card can actually push rogue into acontrol archetype.

They already made him into a literal class on his own. I think that's more than enough to satiate even an ego as big as his. Besides, players have been upset for years over how bs Illidan was as a card. No need to take more chances with it.

It really depends on how you play it. If you've a board full of minions, play a dormant minion that's immune to board clears.

Like most cards, its usefulness depends largely on what you're facing. You can also play strategically to make it worth.

Play [card]imprisoned antaen[/card] turn 5, opponent develops board, turn 6 [card]chaos nova[/card], turn 7 …
