Some interesting Neutrals, but the rarity seems very out of wack for them. If this were any other set, Bayfin Bodybuilder would've taken the "weird, situational Epic" slot that every set has.
Lora is such a confusing design, to the point where it almost feels like its original design was something much stronger (and not as random) before they had to change it at the last second. It's not very interesting, it's unreliable, and it seems very weak on the whole even if we got a bunch of big locations in this expansion. Something definitely went wrong here.
"Overwatch 2 will have a joint stand with Porsche, highlighting their new collaboration featuring a life-sized D.Va statue modeled after the new all-electric Macan"
This sounds extremely cursed, yet also extremely intriguing at the same time. I'm both excited and also terrified to see it.
Even if they only allow other cards from this set and nowhere else, mixing class cards still opens up so many possibilities for something to be broken. It's really hard for me to imagine that Tourists will last their entire Standard lifespan without creating some type of murderously broken combo.
As for what I'm playing, I've been swamped in schoolwork so not a lot, but I've been finding time. If you remember last month when I started by posting my new FNV playthrough... I'm up to doing Old World Blues there. Damn robo-enemies!
Rocket Hopper is the very first time that Overload (4) has ever been printed.
We've rarely seen Overload (3) a couple of times, and we've seen Overload (5) in the past on pre-buff Elemental Destruction. Never Overload (4) until now.
"See you next week when we get a mysterious game."
Could this by any chance be those Fallout games that we were supposed to get for free until the store pulled the deal away? They did mention they were going to bring them back.
I'm just now noticing that the wording of Buy One, Get One Freeze is weirdly unnecessary.
Specifying that the copy is Frozen is not needed since the effect is copying a Frozen minion. Ergo, under normal circumstances, the copy would be Frozen anyway.
I know Need for Speed: Underground 2 when I see it. Great choice of thumbnail. :)
As far as advertisements in games, the way that those games did it were fine. Imagine EA just pushing unskippable video ads in their games. You finished a level? Now you need to watch a minute-long ad for Monster energy drinks.
I restarted Oblivion about 2 weeks ago or so. I love that sometimes you get sights like this.
Owning an inn right next to an Oblivion Gate feels like it's pretty bad for business.
And though I haven't done that much of actually *playing* Hearthstone since Whizbang's Workshop came out, but what I have been doing is making a custom expansion. Here's one of my favorite parts of what I've made so far:
I haven't played in a few days, so I don't know how bad it is now, but there was a lot of bots when the expansion launched. Classes basically playing the same thing including... Southsea Deckhand and Fogsail Freebooter in non-weapon classes, and playing Redgill Razorjaw... without attacking with it. There were just enough real players to make the climb not so straightforward and effortless.
I'm not complaining though. It means that I was able to semi-legitimately reach Gold exclusively playing Whizbang.
Some of these cards are pretty neat, but the flavor between the art and text on Lifesaving Aura doesn't make any sense.
How do you communicate throwing a life preserver into the ocean to save someone from drowning? By getting sunscreen, duh!

Synergy with Hiking Trail, lol.

I'm immediately scared shitless for Tourists.

Vacation-themed set is a popular idea that I didn't think we'd see, but I'm all for it.
Genn and Baku coming back is an eye-opener, but if it's for only one patch, then it actually might be kinda fun.
First off, happy pride everyone!

This is a card that I made as soon as I saw the Gigantify keyword.
And it's absolutely uncanny how many characteristics of The Replicator-inator it ended up using too.

@Fluxflashor
Holy fuck, TotK turns 1 year old? It feels like it was so recent when we found out that the game was even going to exist at all.
What the heck happened?
Scattergories is a fun one. It's about fast thinking and trying to think like your opponent as you write down answers that fit a specific category.
I've played it over screensharing and mic and friends and it's a fun time.
I still play a bit of it, mainly because Whizbang is a fun way to do some daily quests.
A really good fourth installment that wasn't mentioned...
Gran Turismo 4

The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion also turned 18 years old about a week ago.
