I think the player experience that Team 5 is trying to nerf is the one where I sit here and watch my Druid opponent draw and play 27 cards on one turn, while my screen dims from lack of use.
Interesting combos are welcome, lack of interactivity isn't.
Did they succeed? Time will tell, and a class with easy access to 20 mana will probably find a new path to shenanigans.
I think it's a fun way to mix things up, though I'm glad I had just hit a rank floor before the changeover.
There certainly are a few unfortunate combinations, even in Standard. My Unholy DK deck fizzled due to lack of corpses when suddenly given the Priest hero power. But on the other hand, an extra mana crystal really strengthened Elemental Mage. (Which probably tells me that I need to adjust the curve there.)
The Jailer is still an excellent counter to decks like Plague DK, it's an alternate Steamcleaner.
Are these signs of a Priest deck that will do more than just copy and play the same powerful minion 13 times?
Sure hope so, pardner.
If they want to bribe me to visit the Shop, this is a great way to do that.
I've been trying your Triple Blood deck for the past few days, and it does have some reach.
70+ health is just ridiculous, though. Hardly feels fair!
Yeee-haw, pardner!
Thank you for PowerPointing us all in the right direction.
Very nice! You'll have to think of a suitable prize to give the first stranger who recognizes it.
I did it! Here they are, my golden girls!
And some victory stats:
Ugh, I do not know where Android and I are going wrong here with images. I was excited to show y'all a couple screenshots.

Here's a long-term fix for The Jailer:
Battlecry: Destroy your deck.
[Aura] Your other minions are immune.
Jailer is powerful, but fine, by himself. It's when you get him on the board alongside Tony or MalGanis that we experience one-player games.
Edited to better explain battlecry vs aura.
Same.
The highlights on the pop-up are usually very helpful. But whatever they were highlighting on the DK cards was far too subtle for me.

Thanks for the info, Flux.

Win some, lose some, find the fun.
I went to one Fireside Gathering at a bar (we could call it a tavern) in my city some years ago.
I had fun, and it made Hearthstone feel more ~real~ to me, to meet some strangers IRL who cared about it enough to leave the house.
One was enough for me, but I'm glad I went, and Nemsy has been my favorite warlock ever since.
Those Discard Warlock decks are all over the Platinum ladder.
But some of the pilots are still figuring them out. One of my recent opponents just Soulfired his own face. It was a moment.
Personally, I have enough dust for quite a few new cards, and now that the duplicate protection is fixed, the event rewards provided even more.
Most of what I'm seeing on the Twist ladder is Jade and C'Thun, not as much variety as Standard has at the moment.
What have you had fun with so far?
Thanks for the decklists! I won't be playing the Brawl, but I will try a couple of these on the ladder.
I looked at the "battle ready" lists in the shop to get a starting point.
And I opened the new Paladin legendary, so I'm gonna have to figure out what to do with that!
Hey, at least there was a pop-up! And after I checked the dust refund situation, I took myself over to the official HS blog to get the details.
All good now.
I hadn't been wishing for a Hunter nerf, but I'll take it.
I did not know that this patch was coming. I log in, and Blizz gives me a pop-up telling me that cards have changed.
I stared at the Wildseed package, thinking that's the same text as before, until I concluded that Twist has produced some kind of time loop.
Let me guess: if I had long-pressed or triple-tapped the screen, would I have been able to view the related cards?
