Play control shaman, run Perpetual Flame and laugh as you clear their entire board and half their hand for 1 mana (Overload isn't real).

Haha, I've been on the receiving end of a few full-board clears from Perpetual Flame and can vouch for how salty that can make an opponent feel!  I think I might need to experience this satisfaction against DR DH myself; is there a list you've been having fun with or would recommend?

When in doubt about a Control Shaman list, you can always trust WiRer: https://twitter.com/wiRerHS/status/1400848417572720654

Great news. I love the idea (even organised a Nozdormu tournament!) but I can't be bothered to keep track of the calendar after a long day at work. Happy to see they're embracing the community enthousiasm about Noz.

Loving that Cho card. Balanced, cool effect and absolutely fits the flavour of the original. How can anybody even compete against MathU!

Also, I really like that GunspireGunnerKass decided to add the multi-targeting to their core set. Seeing as how we finally got it into the game after 7 years through Vol'jin in Battlegrounds, I expect it to be something we'll see in constructed soon as well.

Good, now give us cross-region play so that I can get easier legend by  beating Americans.

Playoffs were crazy. I've been really impressed with Blitzchung this season (those Token Druid Specialist weeks were amazing) so I'm very happy he managed to get so far, even if he didn't manage to win it all.

Also really happy for Frenetic, going from danger of being relegated to winning it all. His lineup was just immaculate, punishing all the greed he accurately predicted the other players would bring. Gotta love it when somebody brings Face Hunter.

In America's I'm a bit sad that Rami didn't end up winning, since I really like  his energy and deck choices, but props to Nalguidan. He deserves it based on that Arcane Intellect play alone. He's also been grinding at the highest level for years so I'm happy that he now gets to prove himself and represent Latin America on the big stage. Also, mark my words: there will be no NA representation at World's this year. LatAm is just too good.

All in all, a very fun tournament. Hope they learn from it for the second season (specialist still sucks), and looking forward to Dalaran.

If played with Brann Bronzebeard would it draw two cards and reduce each card by (2) or (4)?

It should reduce each cards by 2, it repeats the entire battlecry.

I love how they dressed up all the characters in the set that their classes are wearing on the character creation screen in WoW

Priest can use the draw, and the effect is fine without hitting a holy spell. Just a solid 3 drop to develop some tempo and get through your deck, with a big bonus if you hit a holy spell.

Mage has plenty of draw already, and the effect is pretty bad.

Cool card, but way too slow. 7 mana pile of stats of which you can't guarantee it is a big pile of stats is pretty bad.

Shaman so desperately needs card draw, that this will be in every Standard shaman deck. This means they will all be forced into a Nature spell direction, featuring at least a few Elementals. The main synergy I see will be guaranteeing your big burst finisher, tutoring Rockbiter Weapon and eitherCagematch Custodian (which then pulls Doomhammer) or Al'Akir the Windlord.

This is a really cool tribe, not sure whether I like the wording of "At 5 attack", but I do really like the mechanic of reaching certain treshholds through buffing. I agree with Darteezy that Zola feels a bit strange, especially since usually it's not the cost that prevents you from tripling a minion but rather finding the minion at all. Also I'm pretty sure that the plural of Naga is Naga ;) I do fear that it might be to hard to reach those attack treshholds consistently, but I love the idea.

    - Also, Viper encountering some connection problems at a critical juncture during his match against AyRoK, prompting a redo of the final game.

Yeah, that was really rough. Apparently he got screwed over by Windows update, tried to switch to his laptop then discovered its battery was empty... poor guy. Glad that he still managed to get the win.

Very happy to see Frenetic grabbing a bunch of points, since it frees up another spot for promotion, increasing the chance that Floki gets into GM. xBlyzes situation is very sus, since they're not just both French but also buddies and practice partners. Remains to be seen how the investigation will pan out. Also, very sad that Impact will almost certainly get relegated now. His post on twitter was really sad.

This is a really cool deck idea! I'm not a huge fan of Nourish, since it's just always been a bit bad since being nerfed to 5 mana,. I feel like Living Seed (Rank 1) might be good, since in its base form it curves immediately into Circus Amalgam or Thickhide Kodo. Also seems like you could build a really cool Wild version of this deck with both N'zoths (and Hadronox!).

Didn't watch much this weekend, because Specialist is the most boring format ever conceived, but it's nice to see Blitzchung's and Rami's off-meta deck choices being rewarded with a lot of points. Also big props to Rdu for once again showing the world that he's more than just a malding battlegrounds player.

In terms of point standings, APAC is the big surprise here, with Glory and Surrender both not being in top 4. Also, Tyler should honestly be ashamed of himself for the absolute lack of effort he's putting into his preparation and performance. I understand that he prefers being a battlegrounds player now, but if he's no longer interested in Constructed he should've done a Justsaiyan and retired instead of occupying a spot belonging to a more deserving player just for the easy paycheck. In EU, it'svery surprising to see Warma in top 4 after his abysmal showing last season, he's really growing into his role as a GM. I hope that Frenetic manages to get himself out of relegation range, mainly because else he would automatically get promoted back into GM. It's already unfair enough how hard it is to get into GM as a European player without there basically being one less promotion slot. In America's I really hope Monsanto manages to make play-offs.

Anyway, the coming two weeks should be very interesting. LHS is the most skill-testing format, which will be a great change from the worst format we've had for the last two weeks. I expect the veteran players who already have a lot of experience in the format, like Thijs, to do relatively well. Hopefully the balance changes will also shake things up a bit, although I feel bad for the GMs that they get very little preparation time with it again.

Mana cheat is always broken. It's a huge tempo loss, but this card will break the game at some point.

Well look at that, I was right. Remove this card from the game Blizzard ok thnx bye
