Very polarized early opinions on this, and I can understand why. It's really hard to evaluate if the corruption is really worth it, and I'm currently among the non-believers. Too big requirement for too little reward.
There might be a chance for some sort of Maxima Blastenheimer - Deathrattle Hunter in Standard after all. Unlikely more efficient than Face Hunter though.
Does potentially getting a 7-drop out one turn earlier than you should make up for the potential lowroll on the said 7-drop? For me personally, it doesn't.
Significantly better as a weapon. Unlikely to see play in Soul Demon Hunters though as Marrowslicer kinda competes for the same spot, and I personally can't see them running both.
I hate designs like this. Having access to value a deck shouldn't have, paired with a lot of randomness.
That said, I do not expect this to be good. No Shamans outside Murlocs will even consider, and the lack of actual Murloc synergies means that it's likely a one-off or a meme inclusion.
First of the Enhancement Shaman cards, it seems. If they get a 1-Cost weapon, this will definitely see play. Although I guess it forms a natural curve with Stormforged Axe as well. It would feel weird if that card saw play though.
It might turn out to be surprisingly solid. Stealth is hard to interact with, and not all decks have a bunch on 1/1s waiting to chip away the secrets. At least you'll pick this from Hanar every now and then.
Armor is solid, but there's a lot of variation in 8-drops, and the looming potential of game-losing Octosari. I'm very skeptical that this would see play.
Legendary Totem had to happen at some point, didn't it?
I'm a bit skeptical if +1/+1 will be worth the tempo loss on turn 3, I doubt this would survive longer than one tick. Amazing Totemic Reflection target it it does.
I think this could replace Aluneth in wild secret mage since it won't draw you fatigue.
Exactly my thoughts. You've likely triggered 4-6 Secrets by the time your hand runs dry (if not, you probably lost anyway due to not getting enough secrets), and this will be excellent refill without having to worry about fatigue.
Seems quite strong, is has real potential to be annoyingly sticky. I doubt Guardian Druid would run this though, so it'll have to wait for other archetypes to emerge.
I was so tunneled on Odd Paladin and other Silver Hand Paladins that I didn't even notice that synergy. It's indeed a nice upgrade for any Paladin deck, and a solid body for N'Zoth resummoning.

For those that didn't watch the video, the story in the cards' art is good:
The flavor is real, the playability is not. Pack filler memes.

I'm expecting it will resummon corrupted minions in the form they were played, they are different cards and not buffed ones after all.

There's a solid chance that this backfires somehow, so I doubt it will see any non-memeing play.

Meme fodder, I can't see this being consistent enough to see much competitive play. But it sure does counter Bomb Warrior.

Check the reveal 5.5 hours from now. You might be getting what you wished for.
I'm sure there will be some combos that will love Tenwu, but my initial impression is meh. Just a Youthful Brewmaster with an upside.
Effect seems solid although the stats could be better. Will see at least experimentation in Standard Hunters, probably not good enough for Wild.
