They keep nerfing Kael'thas Sunstrider while also printing Druid spells that could make him broken again :D The question is what can this replace in the current lists, if anything.
A throwback Thursday card for sure. I don't recall Brass Knuckles seeing much play back then, so I'm skeptical with this as well. Maybe Menagerie Warrior will become a thing, and this would probably see play in it.
Wild: possibly, Standard: unlikely. The latter just lacks the refill tools like Malchezaar's Imp. The value of sacrificing one card for +1/+1 heavily depends on your current board as well, so it might be a dead card in a lot of situations.
It seems I very much agree with the general consensus: the base version is already playable, and the upgrade crazy good. Paladin is also clearly getting Menagerie support for N'Zoth, God of the Deep.
Curious effect, to make one of the best board control mechanisms cause face damage as well. Not sure how I feel about that. One of the tougher cards to evaluate in my opinion.
It does seem rather weak even though the effect is definitely strong. I wouldn't be surprised if it ended up seeing play somewhere, somehow. Love the flavor though.
Four damage for 4 Mana is far from ideal, and corrupting it seems a bit slow. Had it been 3-Mana deal 3 with the same upgrade it would've been really strong, now it's borderline playable in my eyes.
Why did I think it only said +1 Health? It's much better than I thought. I reckon it will almost always have above average stats, but whether it will have a spot in the current Priest lists is uncertain.
Thank Yogg it's even-Costed, otherwise Wild wouldn't have enjoyed this. Dude Paladin probably requires some additional support for Standard to take off, but the card seems solid regardless.
It's always nice to see a big lore character making it into the game, although the connection to this particular theme seems rather vague outside "fighting against darkness". The card itself seems like an autoinclude to every Pure Paladin ever.
I agree that it feels quite slow. It has a decent statline though so maybe it'll see some play, heavily depends on what kind of Rogue decks the meta favors.
Not sold on the card yet as the existing synergies between the tribes are little to none. But at least it'll offer some different deckbuilding ideas for sure.

😂 He'd do well in that job for sure.

Probably not for Standard with the current card pool, even though cards like Mok'Nathal Lion are still in it.
Also, I think "Tonk" is a funny word.
I'd probably play Faceless Corruptor over this most of the time. Might still see play in Corrupted decks, should they make it in the meta.

I always felt Pure Paladin could use some flashy legendary, and Yrel seems very nice.
Now that's a brave prediction. Quoting it to make sure it survives for future generations.

I would imagine it's a Druid in Moonkin form. But the character has no lore to my knowledge.
Yeah, about that...

In case you haven't found the answer yet: yes, the resummon will happen when you kill all the Illidaris you summoned, regardless of their amount.
