Thanks mate :) Don't worry, I'm working on trying to fill a backlog again. Still catching up after taking the holiday break after the busy school year, lol
As we are preparing for the grand finale of the Hearthstone Year of the Dragon, let's take a moment to appreciate all the entertaining and flavorful trailers we've gotten over the years so far. I'd like people to rank their favorite Hearthstone trailers and list the basic reasoning. Doesn't have to be every single one if you don't want to. For example, I tend to judge the trailers by how catchy/humble I find them. For this reason, Rastakan's Rumble and Saviors of Uldum are at the top, while non-musical trailers like Ungoro or ones with little music like Rise of Shadows are at the bottom. Tell us your thoughts and prefrences for what you like to see in these trailers.
This deck is pretty strong in concept, but it's also slow to get started in that I have to wait until I have at least 5 mana to play my first minion, and that's if it, or a spell that summons one, is even in my hand. I lost my second game because none of that stuff showed up before they beat me.
Part of me wants to give this game a try, but this all looks so complicated compared to the simple Hearthstone keyword system. How easy do you think it would be to cross over from Hearthstone to MtG theoretically?
I'm glad the new art book came out just in time for my Birthday. :) I love that I can hold on to the cool Hearthstone art even if the game ends someday. I'm also happy for the birth of OOC and happy to contribute my lore articles to it-- don't worry folks, there's more coming soon. :)
As a mainly wild player who joined the game after sets like Nax and GvG were already gone, I'm very happy to see this. Wish it would have come out over a year ago so I could have saved the money I ended up spending to get Nax from the cash shop when it became available.
As I said, we don't know anything about this character they just made up. What I can speculate is that she is either a druid who is in a tree form, which has always been a part of druid lore and is a form the player can take. https://www.wowhead.com/spell=114282/treant-form
Other option is that she's an ancient of some sort, a sort of tree demigod that often works with druids. https://wow.gamepedia.com/Ancient
Either option would be perfectly in lore. I'm just disappointed that they didn't pick one that already exists and give it a less-creepy face.
This will fit very nicely into my current wild deck of odd/token/trenant deck. First time I've seen a new card and known exactly what I'd do with it tbh, lol.
I'm happy to see a new druid card, but disappointed that it's locked behind a bundle deal. I'm thrilled that they are focusing on a different aspect of a druid instead of just another person who turns into a bear or cat, yet I'm saddened that they didn't go with any of the lore characters that deserve to be here and instead just made up their own as-of-yet-meaningless character with no story or sense of importance. That pretty much sums up how I feel about this.
Hooray! Another actual lore character. This guy is a boss from Violet Hold where he's trying to escape from his containment. Always happy when they shine the spotlight on WoW characters that people might forget about otherwise. https://wow.gamepedia.com/Mindflayer_Kaahrj
I can do a double-check for you, but last I checked, the Hearthstone art book for Year of the Kraken specifically said that the character is a blue dragon in disguise.
Oh boy! Not only is this a fun nod to a WoW game feature, this cards is going to be crazy fun to mess around with. I don't see myself trying to use it competitively since it's so random, but casual matches will be great. lol

Agreed. I discovered the game just a week too late to get Khadgar, which I found extremely frustrating. Another shot at him would be nice.
I'm curious as to exactly how many people want that hero. I consider it almost a deterrent from getting the bundle myself, lol.
True enough, and I'm one of the people who loves the art/cosmetics of the game, so I might end up getting it.
Sylvanas is leaving? I thought she was going to be the replacement for the other hero skins they rotated out and stick around for a few years.
True enough, lol.

What is a card style?

Yeah, I'm back, lol. Sorry for the long absence. College homework was kind of consuming all my writing energy for a while.
There hasn't been anything official from Blizzard confirming anything related to this speculation topic.
