  • Meanwhile i am sitting here with 14 Expediction tokens

Kaladin: The key to win at Expedition is to draft cards around the champions you chose, then mulligan VERY AGRESSIVELY to find those champions in the starting hand

  • I played a lot of ladder in the last 4 days and Bilg is almost non existent aside a few Miss Fortune decks.
Which is quite funny since i am playing a Bilgwawter Twisted Fate / Ezreal variation that doesn't run the Nab package.
Surprisingly, the matchup i face the most is Tempo Ashe with Yetis.

    1- Yeti Ashe/Sejuani
    2- Deep Nautilus/Maokai
    3- They Who Endure Elise/Kalista
    4- Warmother/Tryndamere
    5- Darius/The Harrowing

Other then those 5, from time to time i see some Demacia + Relentless Pursuit, Ezreal / Karma and Ezreal/Swain

  • Quote From Forgottenslayer

I play Shadow Isle / Freljord

With Hec / Sej / Ashe I play against her like I play against Nat / Maokia which is put everything into finishing the game as fast as possible.

Seems like a mid range deck.
To be fair, Ashe/Sej isn't very good against Karma, especially if you run too many spells.

  • The Collector of Souls has to be THE worst quest

    Challenge 100 units... 100? really???

  • Funny cuz i am playing ranked with the Anivia deck i posted here, and i am facing a lot of Ez/Karma decks.
So far i didn't lose a single game to Karma, neither any of those games where anywhere close.

  • I agree that Karma sure is one of the best champions after Turn 10, as designed to be.

But is she better late game then Heimerdinger, Ezreal, Nautilus, Anivia or even Yasuo?
    Answer is no.

If you play decks centered on any of the champions above, you should have a decent chance to beat Karma.
If not, your goal is to end the game ASAP, because you know, just an idea, maybe late game champions are designed to win late game matchups?

So i assume the problem is not Karma, its a lack of information about how to:
    a) play late game decks;
    b) close games with aggro/mid range decks;
    c) deck build.

  • Niftty finally made a quality post, good job this time.

Agree with most of your statements, i believe many of those predictions will turn out right.

Simply put, i think any deck that can abuse Relentless Pursuit will be top tier after this patch.

  • I really liked those changes btw, Riot did a great job on this patch

  • Nautilus body is ok and all... but his true strenght is lessening all sea creatures by 4, which creates a huge tempo swing that most combo/control decks cannot deal with.

  • Curious to see how many people here still enjoy ladder play and which decks you guys are bringing to the fight.

My latest creation is Anivia / Braum variation centered around... try to guess this one: Absorb Soul!!!
I am currenlty having a great deal of sucess with it, excels against aggro/burn decks and Anivia wins by herself if the game goes on for too long. Here is the list:

Now lets hear what you guys are having fun with ;)

  • You really need to post what kind of deck you are playing or wanna play so we can give you bettter advice.

  • They don't, thats the point.
Unlike other card games, discarded cards don't go to the Graveyard to prevent ressurection abuse like the one i listed.

So why does Ashe walk around half naked? -_-

League of Legends is a moba game that originated from Dota 1.
In Dota 1 there was a champion named "Drow Ranger" that was inspired on Blizzard's Sylvanas Windrunner:

Drow Ranger was one of the most popular picks in Dota 1 days.
Riot made Ashe's kit and design very similar to hers:

You can add now any explanation you want to fit the lore, but that is the true origin of Ashe's design.

  • We have a few cards that can use the Graveyard:
The Harrowing, Kalista, The Rekindler, Mist's Call

Allowing too much use of the Graveyard as resourse is a dangerous move.
Modern Yu-Gi-Oh! is the best example as it uses the Graveyard all the time for plays and look how bad their metagame became.

Also keep in mind Runeterra has the spellmana system. That could allow some degenerate power plays. Example: not playing anything on T1/T2 to store 3 spell mana; then play Get Excited! to discard a big unit; ressurect it with an effect similar to Mist's Call and attack RIGHT AWAY as this game don't have summoning sickness.

  • Guess we could use some in game cosmetics to burn all those shards

  • 80k shards wow =O
Guess you guys are stacked for the next exp... well done!

  • I like the idea, but the random cards are too random for my taste.
Someone explain to me how i am suposed to win when i draw stuff like Possession and Jettison in the same game.

  • Quote From Phaseshifter

When he was young, he did not fight for glory.

No dude, his speech is not mutually exclusive, so its possible he fought for both Legacy and Glory, but Legacy comes first and foremost.
His sentence can be interpreted in a few different ways, but i don't think he meant one is better then the other.
For me, what he is trying to say is:

"Your youngsters can only fight for Glory now because our generation fought for your current legacy".

  • Sigh!

If you have been paying attention to other topics other then your own, you would know this EZ/TF version is very similar to the one that was created on this very forum, that included Riptide Rex as a core card, which isn't in your list or any older list.
The Riptide Rex TF/EZ plays VERY DIFFERENTLY from the standard combo TF/EZ.
Unlike its predecessors, it has a pro-active plan to put pressure, to the point Ezreal only plays a finisher role.
Most games ends without him even being played. The old TF/EZ is a combo oriented deck that either requires TF or EZ leveled up to win games.

I will restrain myself from this point onwards to post in any of your threads unless the subject is very interesting.
