I really like this set so far. These cards are a little bit more complicated than what we usually get.
edit: very interesting that most classes got an anti-aggro card or a lifesteal card. Seems as though Team 5 was wary of what aggro could do this expansion.
It makes sense that Blizz says as little as possible. They did the same with Blitzchung controversy. As long as they don't bring it up, the consumers will forget eventually.
If you queued into a game with or against an opponent with a golden card from the base set, both players would disconnect. It was around for two or three days and made it really hard to find a game.
The Year of The Gryphon has not had great releases so far. With FiTB being near unplayable on release due to a bug, and recent events putting a damper on the mood. I just think this all will make the final set this year extra special if everything goes smoothly.
Then you would have payed 3 mana to draw a 3/4. Akama prime rarely has any impact, so you would be cluttering your deck up a lot. It would be super cool if the meta did shift to it though lol
That is true. The main reason I included it was for the possibility you somehow broke your weapon before you could attack with it, such as accidentally using your hero power or forgetting to attack.
Monetary punishment is the only thing that large corporations respond to. If Blizzard isn't punished, then abuse by higher-ups will continue. Besides, even the CEO of Blizzard Bobby Kotick has a history of sexual abuse. I think that is very indicative of the company itself.
Edit: Went to double-check, and it was sexual harassment, not sexual abuse.
I do not think this is as bad as people are making it out to be. This looks like a tool for decks that plan to remove minions with face attacks, and against aggro games can get pretty tight that way. If you aren't going against an aggro deck, I imagine you would just mulligan it away similar to how other quest decks would mulligan their quest when they are going against aggro.
It feels a little weird for one drop pally to get stuff 2 years after its creation. It could be a slow wincon for paladins akin to Justicar.
Edit: I read it as though only 1 drop minions worked with this. It totally works with secrets which is why I am willing to bet that secret paladin is going to be t1/t2. Disgusting late game value for a deck that runs out of fuel so fast.

Noticeable deathrattles this card can trigger are: Infiltrator Liliann, Ticket Master, Elewynn Boar (meme), Nerubian Egg, Showstopper (anti-libram?), explosive sheep (anti-aggro), and Death's Head cultist (for the healing).
This is so cool, I would check this out even if there weren't a free pack.
edit: If I could play it, I keep getting errors with authentication lol

Thank you for the speedy reply.
Where was this hinted at? I can't seem to find it anywhere.
It is pretty rude to reply with an ad hominem. If you cannot defend your point anymore, just do not reply.
It doesnt specify that the original cost has to be lower than two.
Good point. Cards whose cost you can reduce are going to be best with this. I think the best card to combo with this will be strong man.
I hope the screen revamp is as clean as pre-battle grounds screen was. I am really looking forward to the change.
There aren't a lot of spells to support this, but DH is still a new class so I expect this to be good one day.

I haven't done any of these but now that one is being released right before a expansion i will do so now. I really want to pull warlock's questline.
Extremely power crept Crystalweaver. Crystalweaver saw play with zoo, so if zoo is viable then it is logical this will too.
