  • A certain OOC member and Deathwing fan will not be happy about this

  • Dean has said they do not make balance changes with monetary gain in mind. I imagine the data that they have is different than the data we have so they have been reluctant to nerf it.

  • There is no need to be a dick

  • Since this is relevant if anyone wants to play a good story centric MMO with things to do once you hit the endgame other than raid (what is there to do in WoW other than raid?), I suggest checking out Final Fantasy 14. I am about 200 hours in and am not even half way through the story.

  • The box is a big part of Hearthstone's identity. Many promotional images feature it, so any menu overhaul will have to feature the box doing what it does (opening, closing, making noises, glowing, etc.) which would require a complete redesign. So yes, it would be very hard.

Edit: Since I didn't mention it, redesigning the UI here would be more than adding or dragging these buttons. A complete "mechanical change" would be required, and only the devs know if that is possible at this point. Besides, this layout was not made with more game modes in design, so no matter what it will be super clunky.

  • Good luck, I hope you make it.

  • damnit, I wanted to be the one to say this

  • "They don't try to create too many generically good legendary cards so that they won't be powerful in every meta - that get's boring."

Team 5 did this wth Zillax and it ended up in every control (and some aggro) decks while it was in rotation. It was very boring.

"Always wanted to create "Arena draft cards""

This was done in the past, and I found it very fun. I played a lot of arena while it was active, and I never play arena. I hope something similar happens in the future.

  • I kind of dislike how Team 5 has been pushing decks and archetypes instead of letting a meta evolve naturally. They push it by releasing cards that make a archetype really strong (All the elemental cards that dropped the past few sets and self damage cards for warlock are good examples) then they have to balance around it which creates metas people find unfun.

  • The fatigue rarely ever impacts games. Healing is what makes it so strong.

  • A mana adjutment can make it much harder to play the profession weapon (I forgot the name) and play Free Admission. Making free admission and Stealer of Souls cost more will definitely hurt the deck's WR but not do much against slower decks.

  • I might be crazy in saying this, but I like the meta. It is very simple. You see your opponents class and you know what to mulligan for. It might just be because I am playing Quest WL.

  • How did Battlegrounds save HS?  I tried googling it but couldn't find anything

  • This is going to be the first single player content I will play since the start of the summer. I am really excited for this.

  • Trump did a F2P run a few expansions ago, and is doing one now. It seems to take him about two weeks to get a couple of meta decks. I believe it took him a month to hit Legend? Either way, I imagine the more "game sense" you have, the easier it is to complete these quests with bad decks and get into the meta faster. New and returning players will not have this "'game sense" and therefore struggle more.

  • I kind of like that every class isn't always viable. It sucks when you want to play that class, but makes every meta somewhat unique. It seems to be in line with Brode's take on nerfing.

  • I like the idea of titles. It was one of the few unique features of The Elder Scrolls: Legends. I don't really like the idea of avatars, but it also wouldn't really impact the game at all so I guess I do not mind.

  • The limited-time events were going to be XP events, but because no one liked not leveling up at all outside the events they just scrapped the idea altogether and just gave winning a bigger XP gain, so you are pretty much right I imagine. I am going to try and get a source for this when I get home.

Also, Ben was gone for at least a year by the time the BP was released.

  • I like the idea. It would encourage players to play another deck on the ladder. I would infinitely prefer this over class bans if the goal is meta diversity. It does have a few flaws, like locking players without a big collection out.

  • I love how "good" is in quotation marks in all of them lol

Edit: Am I the only one who thinks it is a little weird to call that Warlock deck a Zoo deck?
