Why do you downvote my posts in the salt thread, when they are legitimate salt posts and following the rules, yet upvote everyone else for doing the exact same thing?
Mods - why do you do nothing about harassment posts in the salt thread? I've reported multiple posts and they remain up. As far as I can tell, you are completely absent.
I would like to know what's going on. I use the salt thread to vent, and you guys make it feel like I'm now allowed to.
why do you guys downvote me for posting salt here but upvote everyone else?
edit: what do you know, ANOTHER loss because i didnt draw my win con in the first 20 cards. entirely my fault for drawing poorly. perfect play literally doesnt matter.
i dont spam, i post salt in the salt thread, yet you all still downvote me. what the fuck is wrong with you
cool cool cool coool opponent deleted around 2/3 of my deck. i
there exist way too many uninteractive solitaire decks
your fun is wrong wrong wrong wrong wrong wrong wrong.
the ONLY enjoyable heartshtone is ignoring the board and vomitting your entire hand in one otk. you are WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG if you think otherwise. unitsntall. deelete your entire life. because you are WRONG.
why the fuck did blizzard give paladins counterspell
with the way 'play a game is counted' its actually really hard to play a single fucking game. you have to wait for your opponent to do their stupid bullshit instead of conceding games that are clearly lost.
fuck you blizzard.
edit: been playing for around 40 minutes, played 5 or 6 games, blizzard counts one of them. fuck you blizzard.
I don't agree that minions should only ever deal 1 damage, but summoned minions (including non tokens) should only deal 1. Probably a programming nightmare to implement however.
That would be the challenge of balancing them. Your blanket statement of they'd be imbalanced could be said for anything like Pyramad giving +10 health for 1 mana. It's about striking a balance where fun can exist within parameters
Also buffs could be added. Blessing of Kings would work just fine as well as dare I say Sweeping Strikes as a final Warrior choice. It's just a matter of making sure the whole package doesn't exceed power budget.
Playing with no hero power otherwise is pretty detrimental. Maybe spells go off every fight but an ultimate for mage is Greater Arcane Missiles instead of flamestrike for example
I mean...Pyramad is a bad hero. Personally I'm glad BGs and constructed feel different. I don't want the two to feel the same. That's just my opinion...you're certainly entitled to have your own opinion.
Also Tickatus exists, if you want to discuss heroes that cast spells. I think that's fairly balanced and has spells that are very different than constructed.
There is already a hero that casts secrets, and I think a pre-combat Flamestrike would be either insanely broken in the mid game or utterly useless in the late game. I don't think there's much room for pre-combat spells (which is the only time you'd be able to cast them in BGs) variety - you pretty much need either Secrets or damage dealing spells. Anything else would be either unplayable, completely broken, or irrelevant.
I don't know why they nerfed Spring Water because "we're aiming to lower the frequency of extreme turns where Refreshing Spring Water draws cards and gains you mana in the process." but left Incanter's Flow untouched, when Incanter's Flow can still achieve the same effect.
I wholeheartedly disagree. I was watching the WoW Secret Finding Discord channel when they solved the first two riddles and it was amazing. People from all over the world working together to get this done, it was so chaotic and so so beautiful. Granted, the difficulty of this thing is beyond crazy but that probably was the whole point of it: it was never meant to be solvable by any one person.
Some explanations for more clarity:
Step 1 was finding out that the flavor texts of the Druid, Warrior, Rogue and Hunter mercenary contain clues for the 4 parts of the achievement. I wasn't around at the time but I guess what makes them stand out is that the characters quote themselves in their flavor texts.
Step 2: They hint at cards you have to play against the innkeeper. To find out which cards exactly are needed, people from different countries helped together because the hints were more straight forward in some languages.
Step 3: Solving the riddles themselves. Some people tried to apply really advanced math to the Rogue one but got beaten by trial and error people because no one knew what to look for. For Druid it was a matter of patience once someone had the brilliant idea that it was a maze. I mean: Hiding a fucking maze in a HS board state. This must be the most genius thing in the history of Easter Eggs. Warrior was the old classic of bringing the sheep and the wolf over the river. I'm in love and no, I haven't participated in any of it. Just watching it unfold piece by piece was amazing.
I mean...I'm pretty active in HS and in the HS community, and the day I'm finding out this is even a thing is the day I'm learning that they're already solved.
edit: again, not really sure where to begin with Druid. Something about twins above and below? Do I need to put both eclipses in my deck?
edit 2: to the first point, I don't play with sound on. There's no way I was ever going to be able to be a part of this.
whats the general strategy vs spell mage? im running into the problem where they have so much burn and removal that i never seem to gain tempo.
Mage should be a pretty easy matchup for Rush Warrior based on the few games I played with both decks. Maybe try to keep pressure on the board without overcommitting. Mage has a limited amount of burn, and if they waste all of it on your minions then you should win the matchup. They have no healing either outside of Ice Barrier so racing for health would also be a good idea
"based on a few games, this matchup is easy"
lol okay but when I make claims based on a few games, it's 'can we lock this thread for spam?'
their burn is also tempo (apexis blast), don't forget that.
but why would that even matter? im clearly already in a bad state of mind if im posting in that thread.
my signature is in response to being downvoted regardless of what is posted.

salty about hearthstone and posting about it
20 minutes of perfect flawless play but doesnt matter one bit because i didnt draw reno in my first 22 cards.
turn 8 solitaire otk.......
edit: I see. If it wasn't obvious to everyone else yet, just look at how my posts get downvoted vs how everyone else gets upvoted, for the same shit.
Silence, 0-cost spells, hard removal, Lifesteal, and then concede because even that's not enough.
need a deck to beat tempo priest
spell mage is actual trash.

they don't know how to balance anythng in terms of winrate, as evidenced by........the latest patch we're discussing.
that also seems like an admission that flow is super broken. better not nerf it, blizzard only does nerfs that have zero impact on the meta.

and all it took was queuing into mostly paladin haha
nevermind, its over. thanks for the guides
edit: Hello downvote brigade :)
its actually been tanking in winrate as i play it more. maybe face hunter???? maybe control priest? idk anymore. I dont see me hitting legend.
