    I'm going to guess at Azir's interactions/dialogue.

Azir: "Shurima. Shurima Shurima Shurima. Shurima!"

    Here's some more feedback :)

    Show Spoiler

Fedrion - Welcome to the group :) Despite it being a while since you've made a custom card, your first entry looks pretty solid to me. Not as powerful as Malygos in its sheer Spell Damage, but in turn you get to reduce its Cost. Art is pretty cool, too, and the set placement seems alright. Balance-wise, maybe it should cost a bit more because Potion of Illusion makes it easy to create cheap copies.

anchorm4n - I like the updated Blazewing. I think it's fine at 7; kind of like Dragonqueen Alexstrasza on turn 10+, you usually would want to play it later to allow yourself to drop some other Elementals. My only (minor) niggle is that you should move the word "hand" to the next line: right now the text doesn't look aesthetically-pleasing.

DestroyerR - I like Elegant Spellmaster the most: it does something interesting with Spell Damage and makes you build your deck differently. I would go with that one.

Wailor - I think the 11-mana version of Moonclaw is fine. People see "free" and freak out, so at least it costs something to play. Seems good to go.

Hordaki - Your Horrific Giant is using C'Thun art, and it's fairly noticeable. Beyond that, I think the card is alright. Maybe it'll get people to play Horrendous Growth? lol

NerdyMcNerd - The newest version of Tess is the best iteration of this ability. Depending on what you hit, you could really disrupt your opponent's game-plan…and yet, it's also quite slow for the effects to be felt, so the card is balanced in that way. I might argue it's a Legendary class "tech" card against Combo decks, and that's not good, but it's universal enough that you can get away with it. All-in-all, seems fine. "Increase" should be capitalized, though :P

DavnanKillder - "Tax Collector Hans the Bat" is way too long of a name lol. Name it "Tax Collector Hans", or "Hans the Bat", but not both. Beyond that, though, I think it's good to go.

Pokeniner - I think the card is competently made, but I wonder if anyone would use it. It's a big risk to let your opponent have a cheaper minion; conversely, the increased-Cost option is a gimmie if your deck has so little minions (because your opponent will hit one before you do).

doingtheobvious - Not everyone cares for when you make up a new dual-class combination, but all-in-all the card looks good to go. You're using a different watermark, so it's not like the card exists in Scholomance, but still something to consider.

The origin of Arthas/The Lich King and what happens to him starts in Warcraft III, so you don't have to play WoW to get a lot of the story beats. If you haven't already, I recommend playing WC3: Reforged; despite being less than what was promised, it's still a perfectly okay update to the original game.

As for Uther, well...we only recently learned there's more to that particular story in the latest WoW expansion ;)

...Wouldn't "each card in your deck that didn't start there" be enough?...

The problem with that phrasing is that the number of cards in your deck that didn't start there can and will fluctuate depending on if you draw them. Then the Giant Prize would be more swingy with its Cost like Mountain Giant, versus guaranteed-but-gradual Cost reduction like Mana Giant. I guess it could go either way.

Here's some early feedback of my own:

    Show Spoiler

DavnanKillder - I don't care much for Hans' art, but I do like the effect. Text could use some cleaning up: "Whenever a player plays a card, increase the Cost of all cards in their hand by (1) until end of turn." Won't be as wordy, as well. The Pact-Seller is fine, I suppose, although it might be too cheap, even with the intended drawback. And you insist on capitalizing the word "hero" when you don't need to lol :P

doingtheobvious - Welcome to the group :) We're always looking for new people. Demonxz95 already hit on the Classic watermark issue that will bother some people (myself included). Beyond that, the text looks good, and it's fairly interesting given that non-Mages will have access to such a conditional card. You've side-stepped a lot of mistakes new people sometimes make. Situation sucks for the Warrior, though, who would be able to generate the Trapper via things like Athletic Studies without a way to play Secrets.

Wailor - Neat idea, but…yeah. Too similar to Embiggen, too soon after it came into being.

Demonxz95 - I like your card a lot. The Cost condition is self-regulating, allowing you to continue using the spell but you'll have to pay more to create a bigger impact (up to a point). It's like a Forbidden card in that way.

Thank you for the words: I have made the appropriate changes. Scarlet now costs 9, and the Giant only needs to shuffle the cards in :)

And thank you to Demon as well.

I did not post any feedback last week: I've been feeling pretty miserable lately, and just didn't have the motivation to do it. I'm sorry about that; I'll try to do better this week.

    Anyway, I have two ideas:

    • Scarlet Vanguard is an anti-aggro tool designed to help you win back a board you're clearly losing. If three four minions attacked your hero, she would cost 1 on your following turn.
    • Giant Prize is a Giant (obviously), related to cards that didn't start in your deck. In Standard, that could come from Ticket Master, C'Thun, the Shattered, etc. Follows closely alongside what Malevolent Strike is looking to achieve.
    • Edit: Changes were made after some early feedback. Scarlet now costs 9 instead of 7, and the Giant just needs to shuffle the cards in; you don't need to subsequently draw them.

Descent of Dragons is done, although I'm not super thrilled with my work lately if I'm being honest. Have to come back to it after I get some sleep.

Not really satisfied with this one, either, but it's something.

Yeah I guess we didn't catch that problem with my card when we first talked about it on Monday. All well; I'll just post something else, when I think of it.

Quick question, are minions with this effect allowed? If it's a Legendary minion and the only minion you run, it works right?

That is correct. I was thinking of posting something to that effect. Doesn't even need to be a Legendary; if you want to risk bricking yourself, that's on you lol

While I'm here, this is my initial idea. Not a big fan of it, but my attention is on my Alraune class at the moment. I'll keep it in the back of my mind. She's Even-costed to avoid the Odd spamming in Wild; you need to run a "regular"-costed deck with this, otherwise you lose out on cards such as Day at the Faire, which is pretty core.

The Boomsday Project is complete for now. That was a pain.

On to Saviors of Ulduum...a set I have a good amount of art for. Yay! Edit: And now that's done too :D

Reminder that there's a little less than 3 hours to submit your card if you haven't already!

Thank you for doing this; I was busy and forgot to do it.

Anyway, good luck to our finalists!

Even-only, but she costs 3? If you have two, you might screw up your deck lol :P

After leaving the project alone for 5 months, taking a break, I've come back to keep working on the Alraune! Today I reworked half of the Rastakhan's Rumble set, as well as created all of Rise of Shadows. RoS is my first attempt at creating a "combo" archetype, something I usually hate. Still haven't done The Boomsday Project, but it's hard to find science-y plant art. I'll get to it...eventually lol.

As always, feedback would be very-much appreciated :)
